Complementary food for brastfeeding (CFB) can ideally be given at the age of 6 months. But in fact there are still mothers who give CFB when the baby is not yet 6 months old. This causes an increase in mortality and morbidity in infants. The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics associated with complementary feeding. This research method is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling with a total sample of 54 respondents. The results of the study reported that the higher the mother's education, the better the knowledge about giving CFB automatically (OR 7.2, p value 0.005). Mothers with primigravidas increased the risk of good knowledge in giving complementary foods (OR 4.3, nilap p 0.04). The conclusion is that the characteristics associated with increasing knowledge of complementary feeding are high maternal education and parity.

The use of gadgets by toddlers can hinder their growth and development, because toddlers are the most important period in increasing optimal growth and development of children because they can influence and determine the future development of children. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the intensity of gadget use and the developmental aspects of toddlers aged 2-5 years in Tinga-tinga Village. This research uses the type of analytic research in the form of observational. The experimental design used in this study is a cross-sectional research design. The sample in this study were children aged 24-60 months in Tinga-tinga Village, totaling 68 people. The sampling technique uses total sampling, the independent variable is the intensity of using gadgets and the dependent variable is the development of aspects of speech and language. The data analysis technique used is chi square analysis of the closeness of the relationship between the two variables with the Cramer's v coefficient. From the analysis results obtained a p value of 0.000 and a correlation coefficient of 0.000162. This shows p <0.05, which means that there is a significant relationship between the intensity of gadget use and delay.

Febrile seizures pose a significant health concern in toddlers, and there is a need to improve family knowledge regarding the appropriate management of these seizures at home. This study aimed to investigate the influence of video-based education on family knowledge of febrile seizure management in toddlers. A quantitative pre-experimental design using a pre-test and post-test approach was employed. The study population consisted of families with toddlers who had a history of febrile seizures, and a consecutive sampling technique yielded a sample size of 15 participants. Data were collected using a modified Guttman scale questionnaire on febrile seizure management, which underwent content validity assessment. Univariate analysis was conducted to examine the central tendency of age, while gender, occupation, and education were presented as frequency distributions. Paired sample T-tests were used for bivariate analysis. The findings indicated that the average age of the respondents was 31.20 years, with 14 participants being female (93.3%). The majority of participants were unemployed (86.7%) and had completed high school education (80.0%). The pre-test knowledge score on febrile seizure management in toddlers was 8.67, which significantly increased to 14.73 in the post-test, with a P-value of 0.000 (<0.05). These results demonstrate the significant influence of video-based education on enhancing family knowledge of febrile seizure management in toddlers. This study suggests that healthcare professionals in primary health center should implement video-based educational programs to educate families about febrile seizure management in toddlers.

Changes in the menstrual cycle during adolescence can be an indication of reproductive health problems. Knowing whether or not the menstrual cycle is normal will help detect reproductive health problems in the early stages; therefore, sufficient knowledge regarding the menstrual cycle is needed. It is believed that providing education will be more effective using audiovisual media as the five senses channel the needed knowledge to the brain as much as 75%-87%, while the sense of sight is only 13%-25%. The purpose of this study was to identify the effectiveness of audiovisual education on the level of knowledge of adolescents about the menstrual cycle. This research was conducted at State Junior High School (SMP) 20 Pekanbaru with the type of pre-experimental research using pre-test and post-test without a control group design. A total of 30 respondents took part in this study selected using the non-probability sampling technique, specifically the consecutive sampling technique. The analysis used was univariate analysis using frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using paired t-test. The results showed that respondents were between 14-16 years old with the average age of first menstruation being 12 years old; the distribution of respondents who had not received information on how to calculate the menstrual cycle was as many as 18 respondents (60.0%), while 16 respondents (53.3%) had not asked about this issue to their parents. The results of the majority of adolescent knowledge levels at the time of the pre-test were in the ‘poor category’ (63.3%), while after being provided with education using audiovisual post-test values, the majority of respondents were in the ‘good category’ (93.3%). The result of the paired T-tes obtained a P value of 0,001. This study recommends that schools and parents should provide education to female students about the menstrual cycle.

Percutaneous dilatational tracheostomy (PDT) is a tracheostomy technique by making a minimal incision to insert a guide wire in bedridden patients. Weaning is a series of processes of releasing mechanical ventilation assistance from the patient's body and takes place gradually, the culminating point of which is the process of extubation / release of artificial airways. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the installation of a percutaneous dilatational tracheostomy and the process of weaning a ventilator in the ICU room of Awal Bros Hospital, Pekanbaru. This study used an analytic observational method using a cross sectional design with a total sample of 25 people using a total sampling technique. The results of this study used the chi square test and obtained a p value of 0.001 where the value is less than 0.05 (0.01 <0.05), so that means there is a relationship between Percutaneous Dilatational Tracheostomy (PDT) placement and the Weaning process, PDT is faster in the weaning process. This research is expected to be useful for patients who have Percutaneous dilatational tracheostomy installed so that they can quickly complete the ventilator weaning process.
