Abstract

he research was motivated by the desire to obtain inexpensive (optimum) and adequate capacity of structure. This study aims to determine the variation of ? value and fc' on a single reinforcement concrete beams that can produce the most optimum and economical construction. This study used optimization process that requires repetitive calculations, hence the research was categorized as applied research. This cost analysis of a single reinforced concrete beamconsisted of 200 samples for each concrete compressive strength (fc') of 25-35 MPa with an increment of 2.5 MPa. The results of sample analysis produce ? interactions graphs and charts interaction between cost and fc’. In addition, the cost calculations were made assuming the cost without using formwork and using formwork of once until three time usage. This research produced graphic to observe the most optimal and economic reinforcement ratio. Based on the variation of nominal moment, the values of ? was needed for without formwork cost calculation at range of between 0.56-0.66 (times ? needed max ), and the values of ? was needed for the cost calculation by once until three times formwork assumtion at range of beetwen 0.92-1 (times ?max), 0.75-1 (times ?max), and 0.69-1 (times ?max needed) respectively.

Abstract

Eggshell powder is obtained from crushed dried eggshell waste. Egg shells contain 97% calcium carbonate. The large calcium content has the potential to be used in cement. This study aims to determine the compressive strength and absorption of mortar by adding 2,5% to 15% eggshell powder with a range of 2,5%. The method of manufacture and test compressive strength and absorption of the mortar refers to SNI 03-6825-2002 and SNI 15-2049-2004. The total of mortar cubes are 84 pieces with dimensions 50 mm. Each variation has 8 mortar cubes for compressive strength and 4 mortar cubes for absorption. The range of initial flow values used are 105%-115%. Mortar cubes soaked for 26 days and test of mortar conducted at 28 days. The highest value of mortar compressive strength occurred in addition 12,5% eggshell powder (13,49 Mpa) with increased percentage of 22,04% from the normal mortar. The smallest value of mortar absorption occurred in addition 12,5% eggshell powder (8,76%).

Abstract

Residential development at the present grows greater towards the horizontal, as a result of these developments is a change of land-use layout. One of the impacts of land use change order is the occurrence of surface flow (surface run-off), the other impact is the decline in the amount of water recharge into the soil causing ground water table to drop. In response to existing problems, there should be specific conservation techniques. Recharge well is one of the alternatives to minimize the surface flow and ground water conservation. The purpose of this study was to find out how to plan for the conservation of ground water by recharge wells using Sunjoto formula to calculate the debit and dimesion of the well. The resident area of Hibrida I, II, and IV is the place of research, the research activities itself is carried out by the method of interviews and experimenting the absorbtion at the research location. Based on the data and analysis results using the Sunjoto formula, note that the location Hibrida I, II, and IV are planned using the recharge well of circle type with a diameter 0,5 meter and depth1 meter for the recharge well type of individual, and with a diameter 1 meter and depth 1,5 meterfor therecharge well type of communal. Based on the review of total area of the house and yard for recharge well type of communal is planned 21 units with a discharge that can be accommodated in area Hibrida I as much as 0,120 m 3 /s, Hibrida II0,188 m 3 /s, and Hibrida IV 0,335 m 3 /s. Based on a review roof total area of the house the type ofcommunal recharge well planned is 35 units with a discharge that can be accommodated in the area of Hibrida I as much as 0,216 m 3 /s, Hibrida II 0,335 m 3 /s, and Hibrida IV 0,525 m 3 /s

Abstract

The study of bearing capacity and buckling behavior of reinforced foamed concrete column under compressive load. The aim of this research is for knowing the bearing capacity and buckling behavior of reinforced foamed concrete column. This research can be used as the base for precast column of reinforced foamed concrete in non engineered building. The samples for the reinforced foamed concrete column have, w/c : 0.5 ; SG: 1.2, and 0.5% in weight percentage . the control sample is a 15x30 cm cylinder. The column is 200 cm inheight.RFC2510 with cross section 25 x 25 has 4?10 mm main bars, and ?8-100 for stirrups. RFC3010 with cross section 30 x 30 has 4?10 mm main bars, and ?8-100 for stirrups. RFC3012 with cross section 30 x 30 has 4?12 mm main bars, and ?8-100 for stirrups. RFC2510-75 with cross section 25 x 25 has 4?10 mm main bars, and ?8-75 for stirrups. The type of load given is the axial load. In this research the average compressive strength is (f’c) 100.038 kg/cm2, the modulus of elasticity (Ec) is 29793.069 kg/cm2, and the average tensile strength (ft) is 9.572 kg/cm2.The capacity of axial load for each column RFC2510, RFC3010, RFC3012, RFC2510-75, is 49.990ton, 70.310 ton, 58.570 ton, and 51.910 ton respectively. The increase of axial load capacity is influenced by dimension and the distance of stirrups in the column sample. However in this research the using of the bigger bar diameter does not influence the axial load to the column sample. The ratio from the lab test to the theory one is less than 1. The suitable factor reduction for reinforced foamed concrete is 0.61
