Abstract

Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) is a government program that aims to make the 12-year compulsory education program a success. The PIP program has been running since 2015. However, the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) notes that there are still school-age residents who are not attending school, even though the percentage of children not attending school has decreased. This study aims to measure the implementation of PIP and other factors on school participation in two regions, namely the West Indonesia Region (KBI) and the East Indonesia Region (KTI) in 2021. This research uses data from the 2021 National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) in the Indonesian Region West (KBI) and Eastern Indonesia Region (KTI). Data analysis used logistic regression method. The results showed that all independent variables, PIP, gender, marital status of head of household, classification of area of residence, per capita expenditure, other social assistance had a significant effect on school enrollment in the Western Regions of Indonesia (KBI) and Eastern Indonesia (KTI). . The biggest tendency for children to participate in school is the PIP.

Abstract

The This article explores the challenges faced by cooperatives in Indonesia, focusing on human resources, capital, member awareness, societal perceptions, and competition. Despite significant growth, only 9.2% of the population are cooperative members, with a minimal contribution to the GDP and employment rate. The study aims to identify reasons hindering cooperative competitiveness and growth. Solutions include improving member training, capital management, transparency, and countering negative perceptions. Digital transformation can address competition from microfinance institutions and online platforms. Understanding these challenges will aid in developing effective strategies to strengthen cooperatives' role in Indonesia's economy.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the impact of internal remittances on household welfare in Indonesia. The focus of this study is not only to identify the direct influence of remittances on welfare but also to investigate how internal remittances affect household welfare through consumptive expenditures. The analytical tool used is Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The data used in this study is derived from the Indonesian Family Life Survey (IFLS) for the years 2007 and 2014. The research sample consists of 772 households with members who are internal migrant workers. The results of the study indicate that the improvement in household welfare is not only directly influenced by internal remittances but also by how these remittances are managed, particularly when used for consumptive spending. Other factors, such as the number of household members, also play a significant role in enhancing household welfare.

Abstract

This research contains an analysis of opportunities for entrepreneurs with disabilities in Indonesia. With a focus on self-employment in three business sector groups (primary, secondary, and tertiary sectors) which aims to answer the question of how the description and determinants of entrepreneurial opportunities for persons with disabilities in Indonesia. This study uses data sourced from the August 2020 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) with a total sample of 34,546 respondents with working disabilities consisting of 19,253 respondents in the primary sector, 11,213 respondents in the secondary sector and 4,080 respondents in the tertiary sector. By using the binary logistic regression analysis method, it was found that education, job training, internet access, government policies, and disability classification have a significant effect on the opportunities for entrepreneurs with disabilities in Indonesia in the tertiary sector. In the secondary sector, the entrepreneurial opportunities for persons with disabilities are significantly influenced by work experience, gender, age, location of residence, and disability classification. Meanwhile, in the primary sector, gender, age, internet access, location, and disability classification have a significant effect on the entrepreneurial opportunities of persons with disabilities.

Abstract

The higher and the increasing amount of waste in Indonesia, the proper waste management is needed. The new paradigm of waste management as mandated by RI Law no. 18 of 2008 concerning waste management, a real effort is needed to make it happen. Al-Muhajirin Islamic Boarding School is one of the Islamic boarding schools in Bekasi Regency, West Java. The students at the Islamic boarding school still do not have knowledge about waste management based on reuse, reduce and recycle. Therefore we conducted research on waste management in Islamic boarding schools with students as the subject. The purpose of this research is to increase the awareness of all students in waste management using the reuse, reduce and recycle methods. The method used in this study uses the literature study method.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efek moderasi kesadaran dan usia wajib pajak pada pengaruh motivasi dan pengetahuan tentang kepatuhan wajib pajak. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu Wajib Pajak Orang Pribadi yang memiliki usaha di Pangkalpinang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) dengan bantuan program komputer Warp Partial Least Square (PLS) versi 6.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa motivasi wajib pajak berpengaruh positif terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak dan pengetahuan wajib pajak tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak. Variabel kesadaran wajib pajak sebagai variabel moderasi yang memperlemah pengaruh motivasi kepatuhan wajib pajak dan kesadaran wajib pajak sebagai variabel moderasi juga memperlemah pengaruh pengetahuan wajib pajak terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak, sedangkan variabel usia memperlemah pengaruh motivasi kepatuhan wajib pajak dan variabel usia. juga melemahkan pengaruh pengetahuan wajib pajak terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak. Moderasi usia kelompok tua lebih besar dibandingkan moderasi usia kelompok muda dalam memoderasi pengaruh motivasi wajib pajak terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak dan moderasi usia kelompok tua lebih besar daripada moderasi kelompok muda dalam memoderasi pengaruh pengetahuan wajib pajak terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak.

Abstract

Tujuan studi kasus ini yaitu untuk menganalisis pengaruh remunerasi terhadap motivasi kerja, pengaruh remunerasi terhadap kinerja dosen, pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja dosen dan pengaruh remunerasi terhadap kinerja dosen dimediasi oleh motivasi kerja dosen Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP). Sumber data yang digunakan untuk metode penelitian menggunakan data primer. Populasi yang digunakan yaitu dosen pegawai negeri sipil (PNS) sebanyak 144 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Analisis Jalur. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa pengaruh remunerasi terhadap motivasi kerja, pengaruh remunerasi terhadap kinerja dosen dan pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja dosen adalah adanya pengaruh yang signifikan. Temuan lain yang didapatkan dari hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja memediasi pengaruh remunerasi terhadap kinerja dosen UNP.

Abstract

Perdagangan internasional merupakan cara yang tepat dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat suatu negara karena tidak semua negara memiliki faktor produksi seperti sumber daya alam, sumber daya manusia dan peralatan produksi (teknologi) yang mencukupi baik dari segi kualitas ataupun kuantitasnya dalam upaya pemenuhan kebutuhan masyarakat. Selain itu, dalam investasi asing selalu berkaitan antara FDI dengan nilai tukar dan tentu saja nilai tukar memiliki pengaruh besar dalam Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) asing karena saat nilai tukar melemah banyak FDI asing yang masuk sehingga dapat mempengaruhi harga ekspor di setiap negara. Penelitian ini mengkaji objek 5 Negara ASEAN (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapura, Thailand dan Filipina) dimana FDI, nilai tukar dan harga nilai ekspor mempengaruhi sebuah daya saing yang menggunakan pendekatan Global Competitiveness Index (GCI). Dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi data panel dengan model pemilihan Fixed Effect Model (FEM), didapatkan hasil yang menunjukkan bahwa Nilai Tukar Rill (0.049 < 0.1) dan Foreign Direct Investment (0.080 < 0.1) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap daya saing, sedangkan Nilai Harga Ekspor (0.391 > 0.1) tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan. Selain itu, penelitian ini bersifat stasioner dan memiliki hubungan jangka panjang (cointegrasi) serta terbebas dari pengujian asumsi klasik.

Abstract

Nowadays, the rise of local beauty brands is proof that the domestic beauty industry is growing and increasingly trusted by consumers. It is known from many local beauty brands that offer quality products at affordable prices. Somethinc is a newcomer local brand that was launched in 2019. Somethinc has managed to attract the hearts of Indonesian consumers with its quality, innovative, and suitable products. Somethinc's success as a newcomer local brand is also an inspiration for other beauty brands to continue to innovate and develop in Indonesia's increasingly competitive beauty industry. This research is quantitative with a survey method conducted to people who know Somethinc products. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling. The sample of this study was 400 respondents. Data analysis was carried out by multiple linear regression analysis. After the research was conducted, it was found that there was an influence between social media marketing partially and significantly on Purchasing Decisions at Somethinc, there was an influence between customer online reviews partially and significantly on Purchasing Decisions at Somethinc, and there was an influence of social media marketing and customer online reviews on Purchasing Decisions at Somethinc.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of shariah-compliant status, institutional investor involvement and shareholder retention on IPO prices in concumer cyclicals and non-cyclicals companies conducting Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2007-2021, with control variables underwriter reputation, leverage and profitability. From the results of testing the hypothesis using multiple regression analysis of the STATA 17 program, it was found that shariah compliant-status had no significant positive effect on IPO prices, institutional investor involvement had no significant positive effect on IPO prices, and shareholder retention had a significant positive effect on IPO prices. Maenwhile, the control variable underwriter’s reputation has a significant positive effect on the IPO price, leverage has a insignificant positive effect on the IPO priceand profitability has an insignificant positive effect on the IPO price.
