Abstract

The Lake is an ecosystem of wetlands to note preserved. However, since the Lake is an open system that can also be utilized for the certain provisions tailored to support power and capacity of the Lake. One of the supported power and capacity of the Lake is the availability and quality of the water of the Lake. Sipin lakes located in the city of Jambi, have long been exploited by various parties, just that its utilization is not maximal for a variety of activities. To maximize its utility it is necessary to know the power support and power tampungnya. By knowing the power support and power tampungnya then it can be determined the allocation it is used so that will give you maximum results. One of the variables that need to be taken care of in order to use Sipin Lake against correspond to peruntukkannya is about the availability and quality of water. Study on quantity and quality of water of the Lake can be done by way of Sipin analyzed the data using the method of precipitation F.J. Mock. Water quality studies done by using water quality Index method of electronically Stored. F.J. method using Mock data to analyze rainfall from year 2005 until 2015, obtained that debit maximum inlet reach 4,870 m3/sec and the minimum discharge of 2,090 m3/sec.Method Stored i.e. testing kualiats Sipin lake water from year 2014 2016 disimpulkkan s/d that the water quality of Lake Sipin only in accordance with the requirements of the water quality of the IV. From fluctuations in discharge and water quality of the IV, then Lake peruntukaan Sipin can only be utilized to provide water gardening or urban businesses or other businesses that comply with the requirements of the water quality of the IV.Keywords: Lake, water quantity, water quality, allocation, and utilization.

Abstract

Water injection is a hydraulic technique of injecting water into the combustion chamber with the purpose to decrease the amount of fuel sipped by pistons during the expansion, and replaced it with water directly injected to combustion chamber. This water injection process also reduce temperature in combustion chamber . Besides degree of ignition is having a significant effect on quality of combustion earning. Angle of earlier ignition will cause increase of combustion pressure speed, which in turn makes pressure result of combustion in excelsior cylinder. But if degree of ignition in backs into,  hence time required by fuel for combustible become smaller and fuel can be combustible at outlet. Result from test conducted by moving forward degree of ignition and water injection done at honda mega- pro and honda supra fit showed that efficiency of engine can be improved. For motorbike Honda Mega- Pro result showed improved of specific fuel consumtion to torsion equal to 47,82% with treatment of water injection mixed with alcohol with ratio 60:40 at degree of ignition moved forward by 3 degree of at burden 1 KW (Kilo Watt). For Honda Supra Fit improved of specific fuel consumtion to torsion 25,14 % at treatment of water injection mixed with by alcohol at ratio 80:20 with degree of ignition is moved forward 5 degree of at burden 1 KW.Keyword : Water injection, degree of ignition, improved efficiency, motorcycle engine

Abstract

Currently, rigid pavement in almost all national, provincial and district roads is used instead of flexible pavement. One of the rigid concrete pavement quality controls is the flexural strength (fr = 45 kg / cm2 at 28 days) as stated in the General Specification of Binamarga year 2010 revision 3. This specification no longer regulates the value of compressive strength of the rigid pavement. This is a challenge for the construction’s practicians in implementation of the specification, because during this time the procurement of cement concrete is based on the compressive strength. The formula is in SNI 2847: 2013 on concrete that fr = 0,62Öfc’. While the construction practitioners generally still use the binamarga specifications of previous revisions that contain the quality of concrete (K-350), so that the quality of bending in general is not achieved. This research covers the value of bending test results conducted in the Engineering Laboratory on beams provided by third parties using lab services, as well as test specimens made in the laboratory. The test results show that there is a correlation between the flexure strength to the compressive strength of the concrete. Abstract

The main objective of this thesis is to demonstrate the benefits of the analysis of Power Spectrum Density (PSD) to observe the change of the electric field at intermediate negative lightning cloud to ground (CG) and terminology-intermediate breakdown-leader (BIL) before turning the struck first. Analysis was done on data 74 occurrence of lightning in the city of Padang, with terminology BIL. Time domain analysis time – frequency of use applications Short Time Fourier Trasnform (STFT), then the results of the analysis time domain – frequency domain analysis compared with the time. The basis of the use of the STFT is the calculation of Spektogram.  Time domain analysis of results time – frequency domain analysis against the difference obtained by time, where for data with sampling rate 1 MS/s (low resolution) in the domain of time, does not happen much changes compared data with sampling rate 25 MS/s (high resolution), high resolution spectrum due to clearer spectrum amplitude frequency. Different the results of the calculation phase BIL with time domain data will look on the lightning with a time limit of occurrence of short or Intermediate phase on the value of the voltage E smaller, because it forms the lower wave recording-amplitudo, so can be seen clearly the difference phases of BIL is happening. Keyword: Preliminary Breakdown, Intermediate Duration, phase based on Power Spectrum Density BIL.

Abstract

The density test for soil in the laboratory can be a mild density test (standard proctor) and a modified density test (modification proctor). Both types of compaction provide different levels of density. This paper aims to analyze the energy produced by both types of compaction. The results show that the compaction modification energy is greater than the standard compaction energy.
