Abstract

Small and Medium Industries (SMIs) have a very important role as a driver of the economy in Indonesia because SMIs can function as a provider of employment for a number of people who are not accommodated in the formal sector. SMIs also contributes to the formation of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and as a source of foreign exchange. However, SMIs experienced obstacles in the fields of marketing, business networks, and information technology. In realizing an independent and developing SMIs, a supporting media is needed which can later be useful as a tool to introduce SMIs to the wider community and align it with other business actors. In addition, the government also needs a media that can be used for licensing data collection, taxes, and as a tool to monitor the development of SMIs. In this case a geographic and web-based geographic information system has been built to meet the need for information on SMIs in the city of Mataram. It is hoped that this system can help the community and the government to find out the information needed easily, quickly, and accurately. Based on the results of the Mean Opinion Score, it shows that the average rating of respondents of website users on the system agrees and strongly agrees to agree worth 67.50%. While the average rating of respondents of mobile users to the system agree and strongly agree is worth 78.33%.

Abstract

The thesis is one of the graduation requirements that students must take to obtain a bachelor's degree. Each student informatics study program who will carry out the Thesis will do several processes, including the process of registration of titles, guidance, registration of Thesis seminars, Examination and judiciary sessions. The thesis administration process is still running manually, where at the time of title registration, students must fill in the form of thesis title. After that, students will wait for the announcement to find out their supervisor as well as the registration of the Thesis Seminar, the examination, and the Judiciary sessions. Students must come directly to the office with the registration requirements. The process requires a long time so that thesis administration services become less effective. Therefore a website-based Thesis Information System was built which aims to facilitate the thesis administration process of Informatics study programs. Based on black box testing, this system was declared to have run well while testing using the MOS method showed that 95.34% of informatics student respondents, 99.33% of non-informatics student respondents, and 100% of lecturers and admin respondents agreed. Therefore this system is suitable for use. Keywords: Thesis, website-based, black box, MOS.

Abstract

The city of Mataram has not yet implemented a geographical information system regarding ad management in the city of Mataram. This makes it difficult for people to find information about billboards in the city of Mataram. The purpose of this research is to build a system that can provide information about locations, reservations and help the public to find out the distribution point of billboards in the city of Mataram. This system was developed by the Codeigniter Framework and uses the PHP and HTML programming languages, and also uses the Google Map API to display billboards. In this study using the waterfall method as the life cycle of system development. We use blackboxes and MOS (Mean Opinion Score) as system testing. The results of testing the black box function in the system are running well without errors. Based on the questionnaire that has been distributed, this system makes it easy for admins to enter billboard data in the city of Mataram with the results of the questionnaire strongly agree and agree as much as 96%. The questionnaire about the performance of this system from the user's side to find out and order a billboard in the city of Mataram with the results of the questionnaire strongly agreed and agreed as much as 94%. therefore, this system is feasible to use.

Abstract

Image retrieval initially uses a query in the form of text to search for images in the database. Image search using text query has a weakness because of the limited description of information stored or given by humans to the metadata on an inconsistent image that greatly affects the duration of searching an image in a database. Content based image retrieval (CBIR) is an image processing application to find the image sought in a large image database based on a query or user request. CBIR technique utilizes features that exist in images, namely color, texture, and shape. These features will be used as a basis for searching images in an image database. In this study the authors used the Haar wavelet method and histogram to look for texture and color features in the image. Then the features found are matched with features stored in the database using the Euclidian distance method. In this study the authors used the Corel dataset as research material. The dataset used is classified into 3 categories: bus, animal and sunset. Each category consists of 100 images where 70% are training images and 30% are test images.

Abstract

As an educational institution, each university competes to build an information system to provide the best service for all university citizens. Communication between lecturers, and between students is one of the focuses of the attention of managers of educational institutions. In this writing, the application of information technology is carried out to make a publication of activity reports for lecturers or students who are in the informatics engineering study program. Features in this system can facilitate students or academics in exploring information that is useful for their studies, such as providing information about publication of reports on seminars, guest lectures, workshops, and lecturers' services that have been carried out both within the faculty and the university itself or outside the university, where information on this activity can provide inspiration for lecturers and students themselves. conclusion: With the black box testing that has been done can show that all functions run correctly as desired.

Abstract

Human iris has a very unique pattern which is different for each person so it is possible to use it as a basic of biometric recognition. To identify texture in an image, texture analysis method can be used. There is some texture analysis method, one of them is wavelet that extract the feature of image based on energy. In this research made a simulation to identified eyes iris based on Daubechies wavelet transform. First, the image of iris is segmented from eye image then enhanced with histogram equalization. Then used Daubechies wavelet method to get the energy value. The next step is recognition using K-Nearest Neighbor as the data classification. Three experiments are done in the research, those are influence of number of samples in database, influence of Daubechies wavelet transform level, and influence of the number of testing samples to calculate the level of False Positive Rate. As the result, the highest accuracy is achieved using Daubechies 8 level 3 with three samples iris image saved is 93,50%. Then, the lowest accuracy is achieved using Daubechies 4 level 1 and 3, and Daubechies 6 level 1 with one sample iris image saved is 91,50%. Abstract

Image retrieval is an image search method by performing a comparison between the query image and the image contained in the database based on the existing information. This study proposes to save the characteristic of Indonesian batik, so the system can help in the prevention of claims from other countries. This study discusses the content-based image retrieval using Multi Texton Histogram and Invariant Moment. MTH is known as a method of describing the characteristics of the surface texture, and IM is a method that produces characteristic geometry of an object and the introduction of geometry that are independent of translation, rotation, and scaling. This study used 10,000 each Batik and Corel images as datasets. The system will take random sample of 7,000 images as training data and the rest is used as the testing data. As the result, Batik Dataset produces precision of 99.75% and a recall of 14:25%. While Corel Dataset produces precision of 36.63% and a recall of 5:23%. The system generates a better performance in the Batik dataset because batik texture is monotonous. While, the Corel dataset has more diversified of the shape and texture. Abstract

The development of technology affects the society in industry, either big or small scale of industry. In Mataram city, there are a lot of businesses that have utilized technology to improve their businesses. The technology usually used is smartphone. Smartphone is chosen because it’s mobility and easiness to use. Although smartphone technology has been used widely, there are some businesses which does not have information system and still use manual system in their business operation. One of them is UD. Primadona’s cake shop. Therefore it is important to assist them by designing a mobile-based order application. The method used is waterfall, which consist of several steps in its design, including analysis of system requirement, designing, implementation, testing, and maintenance. For the database, XAMPP used as a server and PHP used to connect with the mobile application that will be built by using ionic framework. The result from the black box testing shows that all features work well. Meanwhile, the questionnaire of 30 respondents reveals that mean value for all question is 3.85. hence, it can be concluded that the order application designed is good and work well. Abstract

IT governance in a company to achieve the company’s vision, mission, goals, and objectives. There are problems in IT management both media and website in the Tourism Destination Development Sector, therefore this study determines the Capability level of IT governance in the Tourism Destination Development Sector using the COBIT 5 framework. The framework focuses on the APO01 sub-domain (Manage the IT management framework) Manage IT management frameworks, and APO04 (Manage innovation) Develop technological innovation. The results of the Capability level at APO01 for the current conditions are at levels 2 and 3, while the results of the Capability level at APO07, for now, are at level 2. While the Capability level results at APO01 and APO07 for the expected conditions are at levels 4 and 5 To increase the value of the Capability level got, recommendations for improvement are taken into consideration in the Development of Tourism Destinations in managing information technology.Then the recommendations given to increase the Capability level, form an action plan that is equipped with an implementation schedule and an estimated time that can be run

Abstract

VANET is part of the Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET), but the nodes on VANET have a higher level of mobility. Each node that moves will cause network activity (topology changes) such as route search and message sending handled by each node. So that each node must have a routing protocol to facilitate communication in the network. The selection of the appropriate routing protocol is needed in urban and rural scenarios.This study aims to determine the effect of propagation model variants on data communication on the TORA, MDART and ZRP routing protocols on the VANET network on the Praya City and Bypass Lombok road maps with an area of ​​1000x1000 m2. For the variation of the routing protocol using four variations of the propagation model, namely the freespace propagation model, tworayground, shadowing, and nakagami. The number of nodes used in the Praya City road map is 35, 55, 70 nodes and in Lombok Bypass 25, 40, 60 nodes. The test parameters used are throughput, packet delivery ratio and end to end delay.In an urban scenario with an area of ​​1000x1000 m2, the TORA protocol gets a very good throughput parameter on nakagami propagation of 40.95 Kbps and on the ZRP protocol the value of the freespace propagation parameter PDR is 100%. While in the rural scenario a good value is obtained in freespace propagation is 4.82 second. Keywords: VANET, Routing Protocol, Propagation, NS2
