Abstract

Permasalahan peletakkan pola busana penting dilakukan untuk memperoleh efisiensi dalam penggunaan bahan kain.Tidak hanya itu, waktu pemrosesan dengan memperhatikan keserasian motif juga masih menjadi masalah yang belum terselesaikan. Permasalahan ini dikenal dengan irregular strip packing problem (SPP). Penelitian irregular SPP menggunakan bahan bermotif pernah dilakukan sebelumnya, namun tidak memperhatikan keserasian isi motif. Penelitian ini diusulkan untuk menyelesaikan irregular SPP pada bahan bermotif dengan mempertimbangkan keserasian isi motif. Metode yang diusulkan adalah Dotted Board Model (DBM) yang dikombinasikan dengan Extended Local Search (ELS). Pada tahap awal pola busana dibagi menjadi dua kelompok. Kelompok pola busana yang memiliki aturan keserasian mo-tif, dan kelompok pola busana yang tidak memiliki aturan keserasian motif. Selanjutnya, inisialisasi tata letak awal dil-akukan pada kelompok pola busana yang memiliki aturan keserasian motif menggunakan DBM. Selebihnya, pola busana tanpa aturan keserasian motif akan dioptimalisasi dengan menggunakan ELS. Setiap aturan keserasian memiliki poin yang digunakan sebagai tolak ukur keserasian motif. Berdasarkan ujicoba, kombinasi terbaik ELS+DBM terdapat pada resolusi 3 piksel dengan iterasi local search ke 5. Nilai efisiensi dan waktu ELS+DBM adalah 57% dan 381 detik. Waktu komputasi ELS+DBM lebih cepat dengan selisih waktu komputasi 392,7detik dibandingkan tanpa DBM. Hal ini menun-jukkan bahwa metode ELS+DBM lebih unggul dibandingkan ELS tanpa DBM, karena metode ELS+DBM memiliki waktu yang lebih singkat untuk mencapai nilai efisiensi yang hampir sama.

Abstract

Saat ini, kegiatan belajar mengajar di berbagai universitas di Indonesia umumnya dilakukan menggunakan laptop yang terhubung ke sebuah proyektor. Di dalam proses pengajaran, dosen cenderung menggunakan laptop di ruang kelas, menghubungkan tampilan layar laptop ke sebuah proyektor, kemudian menggunakan wireless pointer sebagai pengendali slide presentasi. Pendekatan semacam ini sayangnya tergolong kurang efektif di dalam perkuliahan berbasis Student Centered Learning (SCL). Di dalam SCL, mahasiswa merupakan pusat kegiatan perkuliahan, dimana keterlibatan dan interaksi mahasiswa di dalam proses penyampaian materi merupakan hal terpenting guna meningkatkan animo dan pemahaman mahasiswa mempelajari suatu topik. Penggunaan teknologi perkuliahan konvensional seperti laptop dan wireless pointer cenderung membuat perkuliahan menjadi 1 arah karena interaksi mahasiswa kurang dapat tersalurkan. Di dalam penelitian ini, dilakukan analisis dampak penggunaan teknologi informasi sensor kamera 3 dimensi Kinect sebagai media pembelajaran dalam suatu sistem Smart Classroom. Kinect merupakan sensor yang dapat menangkap gerakan tangan seseorang kemudian menginterpretasikan gerakan tersebut sebagai suatu perintah komputasi berdasarkan algoritma pemrograman tertentu. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penggunaan Kinect terbukti dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran SCL dan antusiasme belajar mahasiswa karena mahasiswa dapat berinteraksi di dalam suatu materi perkuliahan secara lebih alami menggunakan gerakan tangan.

Abstract

Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) is a disease that causes visual impairment and blindness in patients with it. Diabetic Retinopathy disease appears characterized by a condition of swelling and leakage in the blood vessels located at the back of the retina of the eye. Early detection through the retinal fundus image of the eye could take time and requires an experienced ophthalmologist. This study proposed a deep learning method, the Efficientnet-b7 model to identify diabetic retinopathy disease automatically. This study applies three preprocessing techniques that could be implemented in the dataset "APTOS 2019 Blindness Detection". In preprocessing technique trial scenarios, Usuyama preprocessing technique obtained the best results with accuracy of 89% of train data and 84% in test data compared to Harikrishnan preprocessing technique which has 82% accuracy in test data, and Ben Graham preprocessing has 81% accuracy in test data. In this study, Hyperparameter tuning was conducted to find the best parameters for use on the EfficientNet-B7 Model. In this study, we tested the Efficientnet-B7 model with an augmentation process that can reduce the occurrence of overfitting compared to models without augmentation. Preprocessing techniques and augmentation techniques can influence the proposed EfficientNet-B7 model in terms of performance results and reduce the overfitting of models.

Abstract

Batik is a symbol reflecting Indonesian culture which has been acknowledged by UNESCO since 2009. Batik has various motifs or patterns. Because most regions in Indonesia have their own characteristic of batik motifs, people find difficulties to recognize the variety of Batik. This study attempts to develop a system that can help people to classify Batik motifs using Multi Texton Histogram (MTH) for feature extraction. Meanwhile, k-Nearest Neighbor (k-NN) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm were employed for classification. The performance of those classifications is then compared to seek the best classification method for Batik classification. The performance is tested 300 images divided into 50 classes. The results show the optimum accuracy achieved using k-NN with k=5 and MTH with 6 textons is 82%; however, SVM and MTH with 6 textons denote 76%. According to the result, MTH as feature extraction, k-NN or SVM as a classifier can be applied on Batik image classification.

Abstract

This study present a new technique for Batik cloth image retrieval using Micro-Structure Co-occurence Descriptor (MSCD). MSCD is a developed method based on Enhanced Micro Structure Descriptor (EMSD). Previously, EMSD has been improved by adding edge orientation feature. In previous study, EMSD cannot achieve an optimal precision. Therefore, MSCD is proposed to overcome the EMSD drawback using global feature approach, namely Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM). There are 300 batik cloth images which contain 50 classes used for dataset. The performance result show that MSCD can retrieve Batik cloth images more effective than EMSD.

Abstract

Preservation of Indonesian culture is an important thing that must be considered. One of the efforts that have been made in preserving culture is technological development implementation. In cultural preservation, based on data obtained from 45 respondents from the Bima community in Indonesia, 34.9% of the community does not understand the Bima script. It means that only 65.1% of the community can understand Bima script. This condition will continue to grow if there is no effort made to preserve the Bima script. Because people should have a comprehensive knowledge of the Bima script to understand its usage in writing and reading activities, people tend to have less desire to learn the Bima script. Mataram University is trying to develop creative and innovative learning products to learn the Bima script learning model in an interactive application using a smartphone to translate Latin letters into the script. This development aims to facilitate the process of learning Bima characters for the community. The method that has been used is to apply a string replacement algorithm based on the Bima script rules in the reference book containing the ancient Bima script. According to the experiment result, the alpha test value from 31 respondents is 99.36%, and the Beta test value from 45 respondents Bima society is 91.50%. It can be concluded that this application is feasible as a learning medium.

Abstract

Beef quality can be examined visually by observing the beef color or texture using human eyes.  This manual method is very simple yet very subjective because of differences in knowledge about fresh or defective beef characteristics and differences in accuracy. Therefore, a system that can automatically classify beef quality whether it is still fresh or already defective is needed. In this research, we developed a system that can classify beef quality based on its color and texture features using Support Vector Machines classifier. Statistical approach and Gray Level Co-Occurrence Matrix (GLCM) methods were used for the feature extraction process. The total of data used in this research was 480 images, divided into training and testing datasets. The highest accuracy was 97% for cold beef when the system was tested using color features of HSI color space.

Abstract

One of the tasks of a university is teaching. To keep the quality by improving the teaching qualifications, materials, teaching facilities, and infrastructure. but, one of the important things is to keep the quality of teaching. The quality of teaching can be measured from the feedback of the students. Informatics Department of Mataram University has a system to get feedback from its students called SIKBM (a questioner system for teaching). Unfortunately, not of all the students will fill this questioner because there is no interest for the students. So, we apply a web service system that connects SIKBM and SIA (academic information system). It will force the students to access SIKBM as a requirement to fill KRS (Course selection sheet) on SIA. The result shows that on even semester of 2017, we gain feedback for all of the courses we did not get in the previous years.

Abstract

Mobile Ad-Hoc Network (MANET) is a development of the Ad-Hoc Network, where the nodes of this network have dynamic mobility. There are several types of routing protocols in MANET, one of which is AOMDV. Route discovery on the AOMDV routing protocol is done by calculating the distance based on the number of hops. If the number of hops increased, it may cause a considerable delay and a decrease in throughput. This study compares the performance of the AOMDV routing protocol with the Path Aware-AOMDV (PA-AOMDV) routing protocol. PA-AOMDV routing protocol is obtained through modifications to the performance of the AOMDV protocol with the Path Aware SHORT algorithm. The Path Aware SHORT algorithm is a method to reduce the number of hops. SHORT improves routing optimization by monitoring routes and optimizing these routes that have better paths. The performance of both protocols will be seen based on four parameters, namely throughput, average end-to-end delay, packet delivery ratio, and routing overhead. Result shows that the throughput increased for 50 nodes is 61,84% and for 100 nodes is 45,2%, average end-to-end delay decreased for 50 nodes is 0,066% and for 100 nodes 0,12%, packet delivery ratio increased for 50 nodes is 60,87% and for 100 nodes 82,02%, and routing overhead decreased for 50 nodes is 67,07% and 100 nodes 45,36%.

Abstract

As the number of motorcycles users are increasing in Indonesia, so is the problems of the motorcycles that they face. On the other hand, the user of the smartphone is increasing as well. Based on that matters, we can develop an application in order to help the user to cope with their problem easier. The application can help the user to find the nearest garage and motorcycles wash, in order to solve the problems, such as dirty motorcycle, flat tire, the tire burst, oil change, etc. This application was designed to provide some information about the nearest garage, the route to the garage, reveal the comments and send a message to the owner of the garage. Meanwhile, the owner of the garage can see the comments about their garage, receive an order and see the customer location. The testing technique which was used in this research were blackbox and MOS testing. The result of blackbox testing showed that all features can be run as planned, meanwhile, the MOS testing showed the customer respondents value was 84,83% and the owner respondents value was 84,77%.
