Abstract

Internet of things (IoT) requires an internet network for data communication between machines. Wifi is not always available outdoors and requires more portable data communication. This study aims to design a prototype Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) based on nRF24L01 and solar-powered SIM800l for outdoor IoT implementation. The study used a total of five IoT devices with four nodes with nRF24L01 and one node with nRF24L01 and SIM800l. Each device uses an Arduino nano, TP4056, 6WP solar panel, and a 900mAh 18650 battery. The evaluation of the system includes a comparative QoS analysis, namely packet delivery ratio (PDR), throughput, and delay in star and bus topology through data collection of observation methods by sensors. The evaluation results show that for unidirectional data communication the star topology has better results with PDR 99,099%, throughput 99.393%, and delay 0.0095s. While the bus topology produces a slight difference in PDR 98.766%, throughput 98.461%, and delay 0.017s. Evaluation of energy availability shows that during the day with an average voltage of 3.703v and at night 2.976v, there is no significant difference. During the day it produces 99.301% PDR, 99.653% throughput, and 0.001s delay, while at night it produces 94.221% PDR, 99.881% throughput, and 0.027s delay.

Abstract

Data confidentiality and resource's limitation issues are challenges for the Internet of Things. To implement good security on IoT systems, cryptography can do it, but it needs an effective encryption algorithm that does not require a lot of resources. The purpose of this study is to secure an IoT system by implementing an algorithm that is successful in maintaining the confidentiality of data transmitted. This research uses an experimental approach, by creating an IoT system for agriculture and adding an encryption algorithm. The IoT system uses NodeMCU as a microcontroller. NodeMCU is a microcontroller with small resources so it needs an efficient algorithm to be implemented in it. One algorithm that has good performance in a desktop computing environment is the Advance Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm. The algorithm is tested in an IoT computing environment with a data exchange architecture using an REST (Representational State Transfer) web service, resulting in an IoT system for agriculture with cryptographic implementations in it. In the tests carried out, the encryption process of 128 and 256 bits of plain text took 266.31 and 274.31 microseconds, while the memory used was 16% and 17% of the total memory, respectively. This shows the encryption time is fast, and the memory usage is relatively small.

Abstract

Kota Mataram belum menerapkan sistem informasi geografis tentang pemetaan wilayah rawan kejahatan. Ini membuat orang sulit menemukan informasi tentang kriminalitas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membangun sistem yang dapat memberikan informasi tentang lokasi, pemetaan dan membantu orang untuk mengetahui titik distribusi kriminalitas di kota Mataram. Sistem ini dikembangkan oleh Codeigniter Framework dan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan HTML, juga menggunakan Google Map API untuk menampilkan rute fasilitas kesehatan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode waterfall sebagai siklus hidup pengembangan sistem. Kami menggunakan blackbox dan MOS (Mean Opinion Score) sebagai pengujian sistem. Hasil blackbox menguji fungsi dalam sistem telah berjalan dengan baik tanpa ada kesalahan, kami mendapat 44,21%, 50,34% dan 4,01% sangat setuju, setuju dan netral menggunakan MOS. Jadi di sisi lain, sistem ini layak digunakan

Abstract

Muroja’ah is a method of repeating new memorization and old memorization that be heard to other people. This method is very popular in Indonesia. In order to make the learning process isn’t boring, it is required a learning media that can be used anytime, one of them are using Android application. The research describes how to build a Qur’an recitation correction application based on Android and integrate it with Google Speech so that application built more interesting and interactive with users. Google Speech be integrate as voice input media, users requested recite Qur’an verses then Google Speech will convert their voice to text. Text result obtained then matched with text in source code. Result of testing the accuracy of Google Speech implementation on this application it’s 100%, that means it’s been as expected.

Abstract

One sector that greatly influences it is in terms of network security. This is due to the characteristics of the MANET network that are dynamic so that the MANET network is very easily disturbed by irresponsible parties. One of the attacks that can occur in MANET network is Route Request (RREQ) Flooding Attacks. In RREQ flooding attacks in the form of fake nodes that are outside the area of the network and broadcast RREQ to the destination node in the network, so that it meets the bandwidth capacity which results in a decrease in quality in determining the route of sending data or information to the destination node. To prevent the occurrence of RREQ flooding attacks, a prevention method for these attacks is required, namely the RREQ Flooding Attacks Prevention (RFAP). This method works by finding nodes that are likely to be malicious nodes then isolated from the network to be restored to normal nodes. This research will optimize the AODV and AOMDV routing protocols by adding RFAP prevention methods and knowing the performance of the two protocols in terms of throughput, average end-to-end delay and normalized routing load. Based on the results of the simulation, that the application of the method RFAP on AODV routing protocol can produce network quality is better than AOMDV protocol, both in terms of throughput, average end-to-end delay and normalized routing load.

Abstract

Chatbot is considered as one of the hottest technology in recent years. It is used by various sector to serve its customer automatically. It gives benefits to business, primarily in customer care. Chatbot can be divided into 2 (two) types. One operates based on set of rules. It can be used with set of spesific command. The other types uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to provide its service. Chatbot can be utilised as well in education sector. Campus gives service to its students or faculty by providing information and academic service. Commonly, academic information and service has supported by information technology, usually in particular website. But, not all of the services are available and newest information does not always accessed timely. Hence, this research built a chatbot based on Telegram to provide information and academic services in informatic engineering department of mataram university. Telegram provides API that can be used to develop bot. The bot is built using Python, SQLite as the database and React. Prototyping model is used as a development method. The bot prototype is able to broadcast newest information to its register user and provides academic service such as theses program and internship program.

Abstract

Al-Qur'an Education Park of Nurul Huda Kr. Tapen manages and presents financial information using Microsoft Excel. The processing and presentation of financial information using Microsoft Excel raises several problems such as difficulties in data collection of financial income, difficulties in carrying out data collection for brothers and sisters, the problem of donor registration that is still done offline and difficulties in reporting financial institutions recapitulation. Therefore, a web-based financial information system is needed that can overcome these problems. In this research a system was developed that could facilitate agency employees in managing income including infaq input for santri siblings, expenditure management, printing incentive slips for each teacher and report on the institution's overall financial recapitulation. Financial information systems are built with HTML and PHP programming languages, using Codeigniter as framework, MySql as a database server and Xampp as a local server.

Abstract

As an educational institution, each university competes to build an information system to provide the best service for all university citizens. Communication between lecturers, and between students is one of the focuses of the attention of managers of educational institutions. In this writing, the application of information technology is carried out to make a publication of activity reports for lecturers or students who are in the informatics engineering study program. Features in this system can facilitate students or academics in exploring information that is useful for their studies, such as providing information about publication of reports on seminars, guest lectures, workshops, and lecturers' services that have been carried out both within the faculty and the university itself or outside the university, where information on this activity can provide inspiration for lecturers and students themselves. conclusion: With the black box testing that has been done can show that all functions run correctly as desired.

Abstract

VANET is part of the Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET), but the nodes on VANET have a higher level of mobility. Each node that moves will cause network activity (topology changes) such as route search and message sending handled by each node. So that each node must have a routing protocol to facilitate communication in the network. The selection of the appropriate routing protocol is needed in urban and rural scenarios.This study aims to determine the effect of propagation model variants on data communication on the TORA, MDART and ZRP routing protocols on the VANET network on the Praya City and Bypass Lombok road maps with an area of ​​1000x1000 m2. For the variation of the routing protocol using four variations of the propagation model, namely the freespace propagation model, tworayground, shadowing, and nakagami. The number of nodes used in the Praya City road map is 35, 55, 70 nodes and in Lombok Bypass 25, 40, 60 nodes. The test parameters used are throughput, packet delivery ratio and end to end delay.In an urban scenario with an area of ​​1000x1000 m2, the TORA protocol gets a very good throughput parameter on nakagami propagation of 40.95 Kbps and on the ZRP protocol the value of the freespace propagation parameter PDR is 100%. While in the rural scenario a good value is obtained in freespace propagation is 4.82 second. Keywords: VANET, Routing Protocol, Propagation, NS2

Abstract

VANET is a wireless network that is a derivative of the MANET network. VANET network is one network that can be used to communicate between one vehicle and another vehicle. With the existence of the VANET network, it is expected to be able to improve the safety of drivers on the highway. One of the uses of the AOMDV routing protocol is that it can be used to help the performance of the VANET network, the AOMDV routing protocol. AOMDV routing protocol in conducting route search there are two working mechanisms namely route discovery and route maintenance. The route selection process in the AOMDV routing protocol is to consider the number of hops contained in the AOMDV routing protocol, so that the possibility of a broken link, therefore the need for the application of the method in conducting this research. The ant algorithm is one method that can optimize the process of finding a route in the AOMDV routing protocol. The ant algorithm in carrying out the route search is by calculating the distance between nodes. In the ant algorithm, the route selection is based on the most powerful pheromones, so the route chosen is no longer based on the number of hops. From the results of trials that have been carried out on the AOMDV routing protocol using the ant algorithm can improve the performance of the test throughput parameters of 9.7649 Kbps and the performance of the Packet Delivery Ratio of 11.2838%. Whereas the average end to end delay parameter can reduce the delay by 13.3093ms
