Abstract

The main task of government agencies is to provide services to the community whose quality can be improved by the use of fixed assets to achieve the duties and functions of government agencies. The presence of Government Regulation (PP) of the Republic of Indonesia Number 71 Year 2010 concerning Accrual Based Government Accounting Standards is the momentum of changes in Government Accounting Standards from previously cash-based to accruals, to accrual-based and have major implications for the treatment of assets where depreciation is taken into account in the valuation of fixed assets. The purpose of this research is to find out the accounting treatment of Fixed Assets that are applied to the Regional Finance and Asset Management Agency (BPK-AD) of Manado City in accordance with Government Regulation No. 71 of 2010 statement No. 07. The research method used in this study is qualitative research. The results showed that the recognition of fixed assets, measurement or valuation of fixed assets, and depreciation of assets in the BPK-AD Manado City are in accordance with SAP No. 07, as well as the Manado City BPK-AD in the management of regional assets following a separate regulation made by the Manado city BPK-AD namely the Technical Bulletin (Bultek) as a reference to regulate and adjust regional asset management in accordance with SAP No. 07.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the interaction between firm maturity and firm growth opportunities over risk and its impact on returns. This study uses 135 firms listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2010 to 2016 as sample which gives 945 as total observed data. This study conducts path analysis in term for hypothesis testing and finds that firm maturity has significant role to increase the risk which gives impact on increasing the returns. In context of Indonesian firms, the findings imply that mature firms will have higher risk and higher returns.

Abstract

One of which can be used as a source of local revenue is cash receipts in government agencies such as offices, other government agencies. As an autonomous region, a new paradigm has emerged in the Indonesian constitutional system which has implications for the implementarion of local government. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the implementation of the system and procedure for cash receipts at the regional tax and levies management agency in the Minahasa Regency. Based on the results of research that the implementation of system and procedures for cash receipts in the Agency for the management of tax and levies in the southern Minahasa regency is in accordance with Permendagri 59 of 2007. System and procedures for local tax and levies include registration, verification, printing, signing of tax invoice, stipulation, issuance, depositing, recording, and filling of tax documents to taxplayes or tax levies. Based on research in the field that the system and procedures for regional financial management contained in Permendagri 59 of 2007, especially in the southern Minahasa regency tax and levies management agency, have been carried out well, it is clear that overall the procedures for receiving cash from authorized officials. In accordance with the result of the study, it can be concluded several things including: the system and procedures for cash receipts blank letter of deposit (BLD) is one ot the very important documents udes in recording cash receipts at the local tax and levies management body in South Minahasa Regency.

Abstract

Increasing business competition requires companies to make the most of existing capabilities to excel in competition. This can be achieved by increasing managerial performance. In its operations, PT Bank SulutGo really needs and relies on every internal and external information. This study aims to determine the effect of the characteristics of management accounting information of managerial performance at PT Bank SulutGo. This research uses quantitative research methods. For data analisys methods using multiple linear regression analisys. The results showed that: (1) broadscope variable influences managerial performance; (2) the timeliness variable influences managerial performance; (3) the aggregation variable influences managerial performance; and (4) variable integration has no effect on managerial performance.

Abstract

The business sector of both individuals as well as legal entities has an obligation to deposit and report the tax payable. One example of the activities of a business entity that is required to deposit and report the tax payable is the business activities of procurement of goods and services. Procurement of goods and services for local government basically in terms to fulfill required of the goods and services expertise. The purpose of this study is to describe the calculating and reporting income tax especially for Article 22 on procurement of goods at the Regional Government Regional Representative Office of Talaud in Manado. This study uses method is quantitative descriptive method in period of 2016. The results show that the PPh Article 22 shall be imposed at rate of 1.5% and shall be paid by using document called SSP to the perception bank appointed by the Minister of Finance. This study finds that the calculation of income tax article 22 of Regional Government Regional Representative Office of Talaud in Manado is following the recent taxation regulation.

Abstract

This study aims to test and obtain empirical evidence on the influence of accountability, competence, task complexity, and organizational culture on auditor performance. Respondents in this study are auditors who work at the Audit Board and Development (BPKP) Representative of Central Java Province. The number of questionnaires distributed was 90 questionnaires from 5 sections of BPKP Central Java Provincial Representative Office, but only 80 questionnaires are used. Sampling the results showed that no deviations of classical assumptions were found. This study uses t test of multiple regression with Accountability, Competence, Task Complexity, and Organizational Culture as independent variables and Performance of Auditors as dependent variable. The results of regression shows that coefficient of determination is 0,540 which means 54% auditor performance can be influenced by four independent variables, and 46% influenced by other variables.

Abstract

Genaral demand for accountability is one of the factor that driven the development of public sector accounting in Indonesia. Government Regulation No. 71 of 2010 concerning Government Accounting Standards explains that government financial reports must provide information that is useful for users. Quality financial reports require an adequate regional financial accounting system, because the system is supporting the creation of transparent and accountable regional financial management. Through the application of the regional financial accounting system, it is expected to be able to carry out its duties and functions so that Good Governance is created. This study used descriptive qualitative research that aims to reveal qualitative information so that it emphasizes the application of regional financial accounting systems and implemented interviews and documentation for getting the data. The results of this study indicate that the application of the regional financial accounting system is in accordance with applicable regulations.

Abstract

Holland Bakery is a brand for modern bakery franchise networks with premium quality. Holland Bakery was first established in 1987 in Jakarta, under the auspiece of PT. Mustika Citra Rasa. Holland Bakery is the only Disney character licensee bakery in Indonesia. Holland Bakery has 22 branches that manage more than 400 outlets and will continue to be expanded nationally to other cities. The purpose of this research is to analyze the application of Management Accounting Information System to Product Quality Control in Holland Bakery Manado. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. Based on the result of research that has been done, in the process of applying Management Accounting Information System to Product Quality  Control in Holland Bakery Manado, researchers found their application of Total Quality Management in their business activities. With the exixtence of TQM in its business processes, the company can run smoothly and show positive results for the company.

Abstract

Total quality management is a philosophy that requires changes in behavior at all levels of the organization with attention on the importance of consumer satisfaction. Or in other words, the improvement of which is carried out continuously by every person in the organization to understand, meet and even exceed customer expectation. This study aims to determine how the implementation of total quality management to defects product in the PT. Sinar Pure Foods International in Bitung. Type of research used in this thesis research is descriptive research type. The type of data used in this research is qualitative data. The results of the study found that quality is an important factor in a company especially in the production. Total quality management has been applied effectively on PT. Sinar Pure Foods International in Bitung.

Abstract

Differential accounting information is one of the information needed by the management of a company in planning and decision making, especially accept or reject for special orders, which will help management in this case UMKM Gilingan Padi Mekar Sari which often get special orders. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of differential accounting information in the decision to accept or reject special orders to produce superwin rice and ciherang rice types at UMKM Gilingan Padi Mekar Sari. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study can be seen based on the comparative calculation of regular production and special order production using the differential accounting information of the UMKM Gilingan Padi Mekar Sari in receiving special orders for both products namely superwin rice and ciherang rice will get an additional total differential profit of Rp 43.441.500. Therefore, the use of differential accounting information is needed in the decision to accept or reject special orders.
