Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of the gallery walk method application to the attitudes and activeness of the students. The research data was obtained through quasi-experimental research by using randomized subjects posttest only controlled group design. This research was conducted at VIII grade students of MTsS Darussalam Sitiung 1 Islamic Boarding School Dharmasraya Regency which consisted of 2 classes with a population of 50 students. Samples were selected by simple total sampling technique, where the experimental and the controlled class were selected by lotting method. Data collection was carried out using observation and data analysis techniques through statistical tests consisting of normality, homogeneity and hypothesis tests with a significance level of 5%. Data from the hypothesis using the t test shows that the tcounted for the formation of attitudes, and activeness is 3.21 and 2.16, respectively with v = 48. Based on these values it is known that tcounted> ttable for the attitudes and activeness of students, namely (3.21> 1.677), and ( 2.16> 1,677) at the 5% significance level. Thus the hypothesis Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, where the formation of the attitudes and activeness of students using the gallery walk method is better than using conventional learning with a certainty of 95%.

Abstract

Nutrition services in the hospital are services provided and adapted to the circumstances patient based on clinical states, nutritional and the body?s metabolism status. The success of a food establishment is o often associated with the remaining food consumed by the patient. This study aims to determine the relationship of the quality, hospitality and the accuracy of serving food to the rest of soft foods in hospitalized patients at the Hospital Arosuka Solok. The desain study is a cross sectional. Samples were taken by using accidental sampling, with a total samples of 50 people (Adults around 17 and above of age). The result of univariate shows that patient leave the soft foods served. Statistical test results show the appearance of food, taste, hospitality presenter officials relationship the remaining soft food patients. While the result of statistical of the timeliness of presentation does not significant relationship (p=0.05). It is hopped installation of officers Arosuka Hospital nutrition increase the quality in the taste of food by providing training and comparative study so that the food processing personnel can produce high quality food. The nutritionist of the hospital should monitor food taste before serving it and can tace care of serving method which includes food serving color, shape and place so that, the food appearance will be attractive.

Abstract

Resolving partition is part of graph theory. Resolving partition is needed to obtain partition dimension. So far it has not been discussed regarding resolving partition of complete graphs. For this reason, this article explains the resolving partition of a complete graph.Given a connected graph  and  is a subset of   write . Suppose there is  then the distance between  to  is denoted in the form of . Then, suppose there is a partitioned set of , write , then we can obtain a  representation of  in the form of  The partition set  is called a resolving partition if the representation of each  ?  with  is different. The minimum cardinality of the resolving -partition against  is called the partition dimension of , denoted by pd (). To get the partition dimension of a complete graph, first we find the resolving partition og the graph, resolving partition  orde  After that, to assist in obtaining the partition dimensions of complete graph, we explained that if is is a connected graph then  Based on these steps, finally obtained that the partition dimension of the complete graph, namely

Abstract

The high number of smokers in Indonesia is caused by uncontrolled circulation of cigarettes. The danger of smoking does not only occur in active smokers, but also is harmful to passive smokers. Cadmium (Cd) is one of the metals contained in cigarettes that have high toxicity. Cadmium (Cd) is transported in the blood which binds to red blood cells and high molecular weight proteins in the plasma, especially by albumin. The purpose of this study was to determineathe ratio of metal levels of Cadmium (Cd) in the blood of active and passive smokers. Determination of metal content in blood samples by wet destruction method was then analyzed by Atomic Absortion Spectrophotometer (AAS). This type of research is experiment. Based on the results of the study, the lowest ratio of cadmium (Cd) in the blood of active smokers was 0.8 g / dL and the highest level was 1.6 g / dL while the lowest metal level in the blood of passive smokers was 0.8 g/ dL and the highest level is 1.4 g / dL, the highest metal content in the blood of the smoker shows a value that exceeds the normal threshold. From the statistic test, the value of 0.413 was obtained so that P>0.05 so that Ho was accepted, this showed that there was no significant difference between cadmium (Cd) levels in the blood of active smokers and passive smokers in the bus terminal.

Abstract

Dengue or dengue fever is the most dominant disease suffered by the people of Indonesia. It can be detected through hematocrit values and platelet counts of patients. Usually, the patient's hematocrit value increases and blood plasma volume decreases. On the other hand, the platelet count of the patient decreases due to bone marrow suppression and the presence of antibodies against platelet deficiency. The purpose of this study was to determine the hematocrit value and platelet count of patients with dengue fever. This study was conducted on 10 patients with dengue fever at the Solok Army Hospital in the December 2018 - January 2019 period. The results of this study found that the total platelet count of patients when starting treatment was 38,300 cells / mm3. While the mean hematocrit when starting treatment is 43.5%. It can be concluded that dengue fever sufferers have increased hematocrit values and decreased platelet counts.

Abstract

Blood transfusion is to enter blood from the donor to the recipient's circulatory system. During blood transfusions, the presence of blood that is safe from infectious diseases transmitted through blood transfusion. To ensure the safety of the blood, the UTD RSUD Rokan Hulu conducted screening tests on each donor blood with HBsAg test, anti HCV, anti TP and anti HIV. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between blood filter test results on voluntary donors with substitute donors in UTD RSUD Rokan Hulu in 2017. The type of this research is descriptive with a retrospective design, conducted in UTD RSUD Rokan Hulu with a population of all donors donating blood from 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2017. Univariate data were processed and analyzed which were presented in table form and bivariate data analysis was processed statistically using Chi Square test. The results showed that HBsAg was reactive at 7 voluntary donors of blood bags (1.4%) and in donors substituting 38 blood bags (1.8%). Anti HCV reactive in voluntary donors 0 blood bags (0%) and in donors substituting 0 blood bags (0%). Reactive anti-TP in voluntary donors of 10 blood bags (2.0%) and in donors substituting 35 blood bags (1.6%). Anti HIV reactive in voluntary donors 3 blood bags (0.6%) and in donors substituting 3 blood bags (0.1%). The Chi square test results showed that there was no correlation between the results of the blood screening tests at voluntary donors and substitute donors.
