Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of communication and organizational support on employee engagement, either separately (partial) or jointly (simultaneously). In this study, the authors used a sample of 78 employees were taken at random from the total population of 110 employees. While the types of data used are primary data and secondary data. Sources of primary data obtained from questionnaires with employees who are competent at. ISS Indonesia Batam Branch. While the sources of secondary data obtained from the document PT. ISS IndonesiaBatam Branch and obtained from related literature and can support as well as useful for this research. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, which are used to describe the objects that give an overview of the study through the data obtained from a population sample in the field associated with the relevant theories and techniques of quantitative analysis of the data that has been given a score according to the scale of measurement used the Likert scale and to the results of the test using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) version 20. From the research, the authors conclude that the partial Communications (X1) and a significant positive effect on Employee Engagement (Y), with test results of 0.295 or 29.5%, while the Organizational Support (X2) is also positive and significant effect on Employee Engagement ( Y), it is seen from the test results of 0.405 or 40.5%. But simultaneously Communications and Organizational Support positive and significant effect (strong) on Employee Engagement at PT. ISS Indonesia Batam Branch to sled for 0624 or 62.4%, as for the rest of 0376 or 37.6% influenced by variables or other factors.

Abstract

         This research was conducted at PT. UBC Batam. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of pricing, product quality and service quality to customer satisfaction levels together (simultaneously).          In this study, the authors use census method with a total of 60 people to serve as respondents of the total population. While this type of data used are primary data and secondary data. Sources of primary data obtained from the questionnaire to the Employee At PT. UBC Batam. While secondary data obtained from the document PT. UBC Batam and obtained from the literature related and can support as well as useful for this study. Data was collected through interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis was performed with descriptive statistics, which is used to describe in giving an overview of the object under study through the data with census method taken from the population obtained in the field associated with theories that are relevant and techniques of quantitative analysis of the data that has been given a score according to measurement scale used is Likert scale and the test results using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) version 20.          From the results of the study authors conclude that the simultaneous price (X1), product quality (X2) and quality of service (X3) positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction (Y), with the result of 304.353 with a significance level of 0.000.

Abstract

Developments in science and technology are rapidly bringing fundamental change in human life to improve the performance of the individual and society. Human resource issues to internal problems within an organization. Performance of employees is very important and is the end result of the accumulation of all the process there are various factors that influence employee performance. Such as leadership and job satisfaction. This study will focus on the Department of Revenue Riau Islands Province. Sampling technique using census techniques, because the relatively small population of 30 people, type of data used is primary data. Data collected through the distribution of questionnaires. Once it is done with the method of testing the validity and reliability of the instrument. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. Based on the analysis and discussion in the previous famil, it can be concluded as follows: (1) Respondents' perceptions about leadership is good, perserpsi respondents about job satisfaction is high and the perception of respondents about the employee's performance is very high. (2) There is a positive and significant effect between leadership on employee performance. (3) The existence of a positive and significant effect between job satisfaction on employee performance. (4) The existence of a positive and significant effect between leadership and job satisfaction on employee performance. As for suggestions that could be addressed in this study include: (1) Should the company can improve the leadership has been good, this can be done by paying attention to subordinates. (2) Receipt Party can maintain job satisfaction of employees who have been included in the category are satisfied. (3) In the next study may add other variables that influence employee performance such as: stress of work, commitment and communication.

Abstract

Financial ratios is an activity that compares data and figures contained in financial reports of the company, by using the metdhon of comparing one number to another number. In this research, financial ratios are used as test the effect on the financial performance (Return on Assets) is the solvency ratio (Debt to Equity Ratio), the ratio of profitability (net profit margin) and activity ratio (Total Assets Turn Over) on cement companies that go public the period 2004 to 2012. The cement companies that go public or are listed on the Stock Exchange (Indonesia Stock Exchange), namely, PT. Semen Indonesia Tbk. (SMGR), PT. Indocement. (INTP) and PT. Holcim Indonesia Tbk. (SMCB).   This research uses the same sample with the population or sample is saturated, at three cement companies that go public,  from 2004 to 2012. By using secondary data from publications ICMD (Indonesia Capital Marceting Dictionary), this type of research is descriptive quantitative. The analysis technique used is the classical assumption, multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing is the t test (partial) and F test (simultaneous). In the classical assumption test results are used (normality and heteroscedasticity test) showed that there were no irregularities classical assumptions, it is shown that the available data has been qualified to use multiple linear regression model. From this study it is concluded as follows: variable debt to equity ratio (DER) and no significant negative effect on ROA, the variable net profit margin (NPM) and a significant positive effect on ROA and variable total assets turnover (TATO) and a significant positive effect on ROA. Multiple regression equation obtained is ROA = -0,067 + 0,002 (DER) + 0,533 (NPM) + 0,149 (TATO). The coefficient of determination (adjusted R2) is at 93.1%, which means 93.1% ROA is affected by the independent variable, while the remaining 6,9% is explained by other variables that are not included in this research model.

Abstract

In this study, the authors intend to answer some unifying thought that the research that you want to answer through this study is: Does motivation affect the Employee Performance, Is Work Discipline influence on employee performance. Do Motivation and Discipline Working together affect the Employee Performance Division conduction in PT.Pos Indonesia Batam Branch.             Results of this study, namely Motivation does not have a positive and significant influence on Employee Performance Division conduction in PT.Pos Indonesia Batam Branch of 1,121 1.671 and 0.267 0.05 insignificant. Work and Discipline has a positive and significant impact on Employee Performance Division conduction in PT.Pos Indonesia Batam Branch of 7.102 1.671 and 0.000 0.05 was very significant. As well as Motivation and Discipline Work together affect the Employee Performance Division conduction in PT.Pos Indonesia Batam Branch obtained value of R Square (R2) of 0.737 or 73.70%. This means the ability and discipline of work motivation variable in explaining the performance of employees is 73.70% which means very strong. The remaining portion of 26.30% is explained by other variables not included in this study.
