Abstract

Environmental problems cannot be denied that there are industrial activities along the Siak watershed that ignore the principle of environmental ethics (sustainability, proportionality and responsibility) so that the impact on the quality of the environment in the Siak watershed is reduced. The purpose of this study is to see the government's commitment to supervise industrial activities that have an impact on environmental pollution along the Siak watershed (DAS) which covers the area of Pekanbaru and Siak. Research Methods through a qualitative approach by means of FGDs and Interviews to Industrial Stakeholders in the Siak watershed. This is because the institutional system of the program has not been able to manage social interaction among the various parties involved. As a result, starting from planning to program management has not been carried out based on environmental governance needs. Therefore, an institutional system is needed that is able to manage social interaction among various parties in minimizing environmental pollution by industrial activities along the Siak watershed. Based on these conditions, this paper produced a model for institutional strengthening through a collaborative governance approach to minimize environmental pollution in the Siak watershed.Keyword : Collaborative Governance, sustainable, proportional and environmental responsibility

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze how public participation in handling and management of Ecotourism Area and develop innovation model of public participation policy in Management and Development of Ecotourism Area Situterate Cikande Sub-District, Serang District. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with primary data collection techniques in the form of interview, observation and documentation. The results showed that public participation in tourism handling and management in the ecotourism area Situterate Cikande Serang Regency has not been done optimally, the public is still positioned as an object, passive and not yet have a high level of awareness in the management and development of ecotourism areas. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describle and analize the Competency Development Resource Apparatus in Improving Employee Performance in the Marine and Fisheries Agency of East Kalimantan. This type of research is descriptive with qualitative approach. Drawing conclutions based on the data were processed using data analysis interactive model. Based on the results of this study concluded that the competence development of the personel in the Department of Marine and Fisheries, East Kalimantan Province which is implemented through education and technical training, education and leadership training, career development and adds yet optimal work experience  carried out but benefits have been felt able to improve employee performance. Abstract

The purposes of this research are to describe and analyze The Empower of Apparatus Source in Increasing Employees’ Enthusiasm. The research focuses on some aspects in empowering of apparatus in Dinas Kehutanan Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. This research used the qualitative research method by employing interview and document analysis as the data collection techniques. The data analysis used in this research was the interactive analysis model from Miles and Huberman. The results of this study explains that, from the 14 indicators specified results are less than optimal as many as 10 indicators that do not meet achievement targets. Keyword: empower of apparatus, employees’ enthusiasm.

Abstract

The cases of violence against women and children in East Kalimantan from year to year are increasing. efforts to protect victims of violence have been carried out through prevention and handling. If violence has occurred, appropriate handling must be carried out so that victims can feel safe and protected. The research aims to find out and analyze way of handling the victims of violence, especially women and children in East Kalimantan Province. The type of research used in this study includes descriptive qualitative. The research location chosen was East Kalimantan Province. Data collection techniques in this study are Library Research and Field Work Research. The results found that the handling of victims of violence was carried out in accordance with the Minimum Service Standards set by the government from the service of complaints to repatriation and empowerment in accordance with the results of assessments from officers, besides referral / coordination with related parties in accordance with the conditions of the victims.Keyword: handling violence, women, children
