Abstract

Human Labor is a decisive factor because humans, which are one of the production aspects, have a role in establishing development. Human Resources are the main assets in all activities within the community. The right training and education such as outbound training will improve the quality of human resources.

Abstract

Gennerally, parenting methods for children with special needs (autism) are different. This research portrays such phenomenon. The statement of problems are parenting methods used in dealing with autistic children, and their efforts which have been applied. The writer conducts this study in Tempeh Tengah, Lumajang. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method with a grounded theory approach. Data collection techniques apply in-depth interview, observation, and documentation. The conclusion are, first, the form of parenting carried out by parents is democratic method. Second, the efforts of parents in dealing with their autistic children employs behavioral therapy, drug therapy, Special School (SLB), and behavior modification therapy.

Abstract

Selok Anyar village is one of the villages located in Lumajang, whose traditional customs has been maintained until today especially in hinterland. Underage marriage is a common thing in society and even becomes a pride in the family. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the motives of Underage marriage in the community of Selok Anyar, Pasirian, Lumajang. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Data collection is done through observation activities in  the field, interviews with informants in depth, and documentation. The results of the research display sociogenetic motives (surrounding environment, family encouragement), biogenetic motives (no compulsion from parents and other people), and theogenetic motives (avoid adultery and the willingness to migrate to be better). Abstract

The press is an institution that has a strong influence in disseminating news presented in the newspaper. Unfortunately, criminal defamation elements have frequently been found in the news presented to public. The acts can be sued based on criminal law. The parties who are responsible for such acts must also be sentenced based on the criminal liability system.

Abstract

Da'wah through radio has its own challenges in this increasingly advanced digital era. Hence, the special strategy and management are needed in maintaining the programs existence to carry out Islamic Da'wah as being performed by Islamic Dialogue on Gloria Paramita 97.4 FM Radio. This study uses a qualitative approach.  The conclusion illustrates that the communication strategy utilizes canalizing method and the form of content applies persuasive approaches and informative approaches.

Abstract

This study discusses the relationship of self-concept and the social interaction of the youth of Muhammadiyah Boys Orphanage, Labruk Lor, Lumajang. This study uses a quantitative approach; the data collection method uses questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The study uses a population of 21 teenagers at Muhammadiyah Boys Orphanage, Labruk Lor, Lumajang. The results of the Product Moment correlation test shows there is a positive relationship between self-concept and the social interactions of Muhammadiyah Boys Orphanage, Labruk Lor, Lumajang. This is indicated by the correlation coefficient (r) of 0.959 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. The conclusion shows the relations between self-concept and the social interaction of the youth of Muhammadiyah Boys Orphanage, Labruk Lor, Lumajang. This means that the higher the self concept of a child, the higher the social interaction. Conversely, if a child's self-concept is low, his/her social interaction becomes lower. Abstract

This study discusses the application of Harold Dwight Laswell's communication model on  Asma  Nadia?s  Cinta  2  Kodi.  By  applying  it,  the  author  only  uses  the  message elements.   The   author   has   classified   several   communication   messages   including: patriarchal and matriarchal culture, maternal affection over father, wife's obedience to  husband  due  to  compulsion,  husband's  advice  to  wife,  da'wah  and  the  main character  (Kartika  or  communicant).  The  results  of  this  study  by  applying  Harold Dwight  Laswell's  communication  model  on  Asma  Nadia?s  Cinta  2  Kodi  showsthe messages and the effects. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there  are  five  elements  of  Laswell?s  communication  model:  Communicators  (who), Message (says  what),  receiver  (to  whom),  Medium  (in  which  channel),  Effect  (with what effect).
