Abstract

This research aims to measure the improvement of students’ science process skill and improvement of teacher’ teaching skills through the grade students at SD 2 Panjunan. The result of this research shown there are significant improvement of science process skill between cycle I 68,74% as a good category and cycle II 80,96% as a good category. The mnagement of Direct Instruction model learning also increased in cycle I 82,00% as a very good category to 92,24% as a very good category in cycle II. It proves that used of Direct Instruction model use papa saya can improve science process skills in fourht grade students theme 7at SD 2 Panjunan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain an increase in low emotional intelligence students through mastery of content in class IX.E Gunungwungkal Pati Middle School 2 Semester II Academic Year 2017/20198. The aim to be achieved in this study is to obtain increased emotional intelligence of students through content mastery services in class IX.E Gunungwungkal Pati Middle School 2 Semester II Academic Year 2017 / 2018. Subjects examined in this study were students of class IX.E of SMP Negeri 2 Gunungwungkal Pati Semester II of 2017/1918 Academic Year taken by all children in one class. Research variables: mastery of content (independent variables) and emotional intelligence (dependent variables). Data collection method is the main method of observation, the pendukungg method is interview and documentation. Data analysis uses comparative descriptive. The research was carried out in 2 cycles (cycle I and cycle II) every cycle 3 meeting discussed 3 materials with a time allocation of 40 minutes. Based on the results of research on observations of 7 aspects of improving students 'emotional intelligence, it can be said that through the service of mastering the content of students' emotional intelligence can increase. This is evidenced by what is obtained from every observation made before the action and after the cycle which shows that the emotional intelligence of students has increased, namely in the pre cycle 14.2 in the first cycle: 15, 1 and in the second cycle: 26. Based on the results of the study discussion can It was concluded that content mastery services could improve emotional intelligence of class IX.E students of Gunungwungkal Pati Middle School 2 Semester II Academic Year 2017/2018.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is 1. Describe entrepreneurial motivation for students in Class IX A of SMP Negeri 2 Dukuhseti Pati before and after being provided with information services. 2. Obtaining an increase in entrepreneurial motivation through information services for students of Class IX A of SMP Negeri 2 Dukuhseti Pati in the academic year 2017/2018. The research method consists of: the setting of this research in SMP Negeri 2 Dukuhseti Pati. Characteristics and Subjects of this study were 22 students of Grade IX A who needed increased motivation through information services. The variables of this study consisted of two: independent and bound variables. The free variable information service. The dependent variable is entrepreneurial motivation. The research procedure for guidance and counseling measures uses a continuous cycle, each cycle consisting of the planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. Data collection techniques used observation and interviews. Data analysis used qualitative analysis and it was processed in a comparative descriptive manner. That is, comparing the first cycle which was known as many as 9 students whose motivation was still low, then after receiving information services in cycle II, a total of 15 students obtained a very motivational category. the height and content of 7 students got high category. The results can be concluded that: 1. Increasing students' entrepreneurial motivation through information services get very good results, this increase can be seen from the low motivation before the service is given to their courage to open their own business after providing information services 2. Student entrepreneurship motivation after attending information services has increased from 43 , 7% (low) to 80.56% (very high), marked by increased observations and results of interviews that showed an increase in students' entrepreneurial skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of student manners through orientation services in guidance and counseling. The research design was quasi-experimental using 40 research subjects in Kayen Secondary School. The result is that the hypothetical testing obtained by manners through information services is rxy = 0.503, with a significant level of 5%, N = 40, with r table 0.312 so that it can be concluded that orientation services can improve student etiquette.

Abstract

This paper presents Open Lesson activities in a series of Lesson Study for Learning Community (LSLC) activities in the Language Assessment (LA) course that is taught by the author with partners from other lecturers in the same subject. In this open lesson the theme raised is the material "Analysis of Face Validity and Content Validity of English test" with a duration of 100 (one hundred) minutes which is equivalent to 2 (two) Semester Credit units (SKS) in semester V (odd) 2017 academic year / 2018 in the English Education Study Program, Teaching and Education Faculty of Muria Kudus University. In this paper also discussed the importance of lesson study and its steps, the implementation of Lesson Study for Learning Community at UMK especially in the PBI FKIP UMK, namely the open lesson of Language Assessment courses.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to apply group counseling services to improve Class IX confidence. SMP 1 Cluwak in Semester I Academic Year 2017/2018. Research Hypothesis: Suspected Group Counseling Services Can Improve Students' Confidence in Class IX.A SMP 1 Cluwak Semester I Academic Year 2017/2018. This research was conducted in Class IX.A SMP 1 Cluwak in Semester I Academic Year 2017/2018. The subjects in this study were 7 students, students of class IX.A in the academic year who were in the severe problem category. PTBK: Suspected Group Counseling Services Can Improve Student Confidence Class IX.A SMP 1 Cluwak in Semester I Academic Year is said to be true, this is evident by an increase in each cycle. And 2) Increasing group counseling services in reducing the confidence of Class IX.A SMP 1 Cluwak students in Semester I of Academic Year, the lower, the confidence that occurs in Class IX.A Cluwak Pati 1 Middle School students in Semester I 2017/2018 Academic Year. PTBK Implications: Results of PTBK conclusions stating that there is an Effort to Increase Confidence through Class IX.A Group Counseling Services in SMP Negeri 1 Cluwak Pati Semester I Academic Year is proven true, so the confidence that occurs in Class IX.A SMP Negeri 1 Cluwak students Semester I Academic Year is increasing, this is evident by the increase in each cycle.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the increase in students' interest in learning through information services provided by counselors. The study was designed with a classroom action research model with a subject of 32 students of class VIII of Cluwak Middle School 1 2017/2018. The results revealed that there was a significant increase between before the study, after the first and second cycles. Researchers suggest that information service innovations continue to be provided to continue to improve the quality of guidance services and counseling, especially information services.

Abstract

Collaborative-contextual learning strongly emphasizes group activities, learning interactions, and collaboration between students in carrying out tasks. In learning with collaborative-contextual methods directed so that students can be actively involved, by conducting learning activities such as presenting assignments, paying attention to explanations from lecturers or colleagues, discussing, asking questions, expressing opinions, and answering questions. The aim of collaborative-contextual learning to be achieved is to improve learning activities and student participation in geomorphology learning. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach and action. The target in this study as the research subjects were 21 students in the third semester who took geomorphology courses. Data collection method using observation (observation sheet), test (question / case study), and documentation (photo, video). Data analysis using interactive analysis. Based on the data obtained from the research results it can be concluded that, the stages of collaborative-contextual learning that have been applied have successfully involved students actively during the learning process. This is because, all stages of learning activities emphasize the involvement of students from the beginning to the end of learning. Students become more active, the learning atmosphere becomes more conducive, group discussion becomes more lively because all group members prepare the discussion material well. They also became more enthusiastic and active in every lesson. With better quality learning, students' understanding of the learning process becomes good and understanding of the lecture material also becomes better

Abstract

The purpose of this study include: 1) to describe the learning outcomes of science Class V students in SD Negeri Wonoketingal 1 District Karanganyar Demak Regency material changes the nature of the object. 2) to improve teachers' knowledge of appropriate and targeted teaching methods and to increase teaching motivation. 3) to improve students' motivation in following science lesson, especially on basic competence of change of object properties at SD Negeri Wonoketingal 1 District Karanganyar Demak Regency. This study uses a classroom action research design with direct planning, action, observation and reflection. Based on observation h and the results of research conducted at SDN Wonoketingal 1, it is known that the implementation of science learning in class V as a whole has been running. However, in the Competence of Change of Nature Nature, there are still many students who have not maximized their learning outcomes, such as the students only answer some teacher questions therefore the teacher uses contextual learning model with the aid of realia media seen there is an increase of the average value of 63,33 in cycle 1, increased to an average of 80.00 in cycle 2, it means already above KKM 70.00. The increase is in addition to the learning model conducted by contextual teachers so that learners in understanding the subject matter associated with the context of everyday life through the media realia learning more meaningful. Students are active because they use various sources, more integrated learning students feel happy not bored, sharing with friends, critical students and creative teachers.Thus there is an increase of 16.67 because with contextual learning through media realia students more active, disciplined and confident.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) Describe the actions of counselors in using group guidance services with modeling techniques to improve the ethics of talking with peers. (3) Describe the improvement of the ethics of talking with peers by using group guidance services with modeling techniques for students of class IX.B SMP 1 Pancur Rembang Semester II Academic Year 2017/2018. Based on the results of the study the ethics of talking with peers in pre-cycle obtained a score of 130 on average 16.25 percentage 32.25% entered in the category of very poor (SK), cycle I obtained a total score of 533 an average of 22 percentages 44% entered the category less ( K), and in cycle II there was a total score of 939 on average 39 percent 78% in the good category (B). So from the pre-cycle, cycle I, cycle II, the results were 32.25% to 78%, so there was an increase of 45.75%. Based on the results of the discussion it can be concluded that group guidance services with modeling techniques can improve the ethics of talking with peers in class IX.B SMP 1 Pancur Semester II Academic Year 2017/2018
