Abstract

Indonesia is a very diverse country, starting from different religions, ethnicities, languages ​​and customs. In the current industrial 4.0 era, radicalism is growing rapidly several times to shake the integrity of the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia, Indonesia with a majority Muslim population with the direction of ASWAJA (Ahlu al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah) are people who are always guided by the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad. SAW (Salallahu Alaihi Wassalam), the way of the companions of the Prophet in matters of religious aqidah, outward deeds, and morals of the heart. The ASWAJA group are the survivors. The term "Sunnah" in ASWAJA refers to the instructions of the Prophet Muhammad and his companions, both knowledge, aqidah, words, and practices, namely the Sunnah which is used as a guide. ASWAJA values ​​such as: “tawassuth” (moderate), “tawazun” (balanced), “tasamuh” (tolerant), and “i'tidal” (fair) become very important to be applied more massively and planned in education for prepare the next generation. The method and approach used in this study is descriptive qualitative, with data obtained from literature studies, discussions, and seminars on ASWAJA values. Furthermore, the material in this article is focused on ASWAJA values ​​that must be applied in education and how to implement ASWAJA values ​​strategies and methods to strengthen the nation's character in realizing the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).

Abstract

Adab is an ornament for a student of knowledge, a student of knowledge who has studied PAI (Islamic Religious Education) which in its sub-material contains material related to adab, has good manners towards himself, his teacher and friends and the surrounding environment, in fact PAI learning should be able to make a student of knowledge have good manners on the contrary, such as the occurrence of a very worrying phenomenon such as the crisis of adab from students of knowledge both to their teachers and friends, one of the cases is how dare a student of knowledge disobey his teacher which occurred in Yogyakarta on February 22 2019 in this case, a student of knowledge dared to fight his teacher because his cellphone was confiscated by his teacher, due to this phenomenon the functions and results of PAI learning can be said to be unsuccessful. The purpose of this study is to describe the adab of a knowledge in the book student of Ḥilyatu Ṭālib Al-‘Ilmi by Shaykh Bakr bin Abdullah Abu Zaid and its implications for PAI learning which is expected to be a solution in an effort to improve the quality of education and form students who have manners in accordance with the Law System. National Education (SISDIKNAS) no. 20 of 2003 which one of the goals is to make humans have noble character. This study uses a qualitative approach to the method of library research (library research). Researchers are the key instrument in research, collecting data using techniques library research. Research data analysis was carried out in the form of data reduction, data presentation/display, and data conclusion/verification. The results of the study show that the adab of theknowledge in the book of student of Ḥilyatu Ṭālib Al-‘Ilmi has implications for PAI learning, especially the material on adab for a student of knowledge.

Abstract

With so many problems in education in Indonesia that still need to be resolved, one of them is the dichotomy of education in Indonesia. With this problem, the presenter conducts research using a qualitative method of literature review or literature review. The dichotomy in the education system will have a major influence on Islamic education, this will cause a complete division. Before getting too deep into the dichotomy of Islamic religious education in national education, this dichotomy must be ended immediately, one of which is by implementing the integration of Islamic education. Muslim scholars argue that this division must be repaired immediately by integrating the education system, namely by creating a third system which is also the antithesis of the traditional and modern education systems.

Abstract

Cultural diversity (multicultural) is a natural event due to the meeting of various cultures, the interaction of various individuals and groups carrying cultural behavior, having different and specific ways of life. Diversities such as cultural diversity, family background, religion, and ethnicity interact with each other in the Indonesian community. In horizontal communication between communities, Mulyana said, clashes between tribes are still taking place in various areas, ranging from stereotypes and prejudices between tribes, discrimination, to open conflicts and massacres between tribes that take lives. Competition between tribes is not only in the community but also among political elites and even academics to occupy positions in various agencies. This study aims to explain the importance of being moderate in religion and also to see how the conditions of religion in Indonesia are through descriptive qualitative research. The results of this study are 1) Moderation of religion as an effort to always maintain that whatever variety of interpretations and understandings of religion are maintained according to the corridor so as not to bring up extreme religious ways. Because the main points of religious teachings are basically the same, such as humanity, justice, equality before the law, respect for human rights and other universal values. 2) Based on research conducted by the Ministry of Religion, it shows that the 2021 Religious Harmony Index (KUB) is in the good category. Its value is at the national average of 72.39, up 4.93 points from the previous year.

Abstract

The issue of radicalism which leads to the crime of terrorism in various countries by Westerners is oftenassociated with Islam. Violence, war, and conflict that result in death seem to be a picture that Islam is abrutal religion. The statements were made by them not without reason. The prolonged conflict in the MiddleEast and suicide bombing cases have been confirmed by the media as Muslim acts. To face this reality,defending Islam with an argument is not the best way. Therefore, there needs to be improvements, pressures,and countermeasures in the teachings of Islam itself. One solution that can be done is through education thatstill maintains the purity of the Islamic religion, namely Pondok Pesantren. Pondok Pesantren is an Islamiceducation and lecturing institution that teaches the values of Islam rahmatan lil-alamin, moderate, tolerant,balanced, and fair in Indonesia. Pondok Pesantren offers an education system that is based directly on theteachings of Islam Ahlussunah Wal Jamaah. As we know that the teachings of Islam Ahulussunah WalJamaah are contrary to radicalism.

Abstract

Madrasas as one of the Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia have a long history in this nation. Formally, madrasas were developed in response to two important conditions, namely Islamic reform in Indonesia and education under Dutch supervision. In its journey, Madrasah experienced many twists and turns, starting with the disallowance of it during the Dutch era, being recognized and allowed to operate during the Old Order, and not being recognized during the New Order. This article will try to explore the implications of conditions in the New Order era until the issuance of three ministerial decrees which reduced the dualism of education issues and improved the quality of madrasas. The issuance of the decree was a springboard for integrating madrasas into the national education system
