Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of public awareness of environmental issues, resulting in a lot of damage to the earth. This is based on early character cultivation for environmental love that has not been cultivated in society. This study aims to describe the value of environmental ethics in the anthology of short stories of Lovers who are Afraid of Worms initiated by Reni Erina. The approach used in this research is qualitative approach. This research uses analytical descriptive method. The theory used is the theory of environmental ethics. The data collection technique is through listening and recording techniques, by reading carefully the short story and recording quotations with natural elements. The result of the research shows that there are environmental ethics values in the twelve short stories in the anthology, namely respect for nature, responsibility for nature, solidarity with nature, love and care for nature, living simply and in harmony with nature, no harm, democratic, and fair to nature. The value of environmental ethics in this research can be relevant to Indonesian language learning as a form of character education.

Abstract

This study analyzes Press Releases on Women's Solidarity, Women and Food Sovereignty using literary eco-criticism or literary ecology. Through an eco-critical perspective, this study seeks to explain the representation of strengthening and food security in maintaining natural resources and the environment for food production in a press release on women's solidarity. This study uses a qualitative method. The results obtained in this study are that in the press release Women's Solidarity encourages improvement in terms of providing understanding to humans so that they are more wise towards ecosystems. The Women's Solidarity Press Release invites the public to be more aware of the environment and food security and increase, foster environmental sustainability of land for strengthening and food security and land tenure. This fact is supported by a series of sustainable policies so that people will prosper. Thus, in relation to ecology as an action that includes: (1) Application of agroecology to the design and management of sustainable agricultural ecosystems. (2) A holistic approach to agriculture and food system development based on traditional knowledge, alternative agriculture, and local food system experience. And (3) Ecological, cultural, economic, and community linkages for sustainable agricultural production, environmental health, and food and community sustainability.

Abstract

Language becomes an important element in communicating, with the presence of human language can convey information, messages, and purposes. However, there are several factors that make a language have a variety of variations, such as casual variations, formal variations, dialects, and chronoleces. This is due to the classification of language based on the wearer and its function. The language can be divided into two, namely written language and spoken language. Writing language for example description of uploads on social media. The study aims to identify the variations of language contained on Instagram’s social media account @dolanboyolali. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods, with noting techniques. The data source of this study is a description (caption) in Instagram post @dolanboyolali taken in December 2022 and January 2023. The results of the study are different business languages, raw languages, casual languages, and varieties of familiar languages. Keywords: language variation, social media, Instagram

Abstract

This research aims to find out code-mixing events based on bilingualism ability in terms of socialmedia, namely Instagram and Twitter. The data sources of this research are Instagram posts andTwitter tweets. The data collection technique in this research is the observation technique. The listeningtechnique is to review the Instagram uploads and Twitter tweets, then the note-taking technique is done by recording important data related to the code mix contained in it. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that there were code mix events based on people's ability in bilingualism, namely on Instagram uploads in which there were Indonesian and English code mixes on moodreceh.id and folkative accounts and on Twitter account tweets @morkiecan and @BanHestu in which there were Indonesian and Javanese code mixes.

Abstract

This study took the script of the drama "Perempuan dan Ilusinya" by AdhyraPratama. With the object of research in the form of analysis of intrinsic elementsthat exist in the play. The research Model used in this study is qualitative withdescriptive data. The data in this study were collected by listening and recordingtechniques. Primary data sources obtained from the observation and mutilation ofdrama script "Perempuan dan Ilusinya" by Adhyra Pratama. Meanwhile,secondary or supporting data obtained from literature studies on relevantresearch. Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of code switching and the causes of code switching in the novel Mondang Versus Jakarta by Sinar Yunita. This research Model is descriptive qualitative with data in the form of text quoted from the dialogue in the novel mondang versus Jakarta by Sinar Yunita. The results found in this study is, found 15 texts in the form of internal code switching between Indonesian to Batak language. And transfer the eksteren code from Indonesian to English. The causes of code switching in the novel Mondang Versus Jakarta by Sinar Yunita are mostly influenced by the presence of a common mother tongue among speakers, the batak language. Abstract

This research aims to explain the position of core nouns in relative clauses in theKaro language, the types of relative clauses in the Karo language, and strategiesfor relativizing relative clauses in the Karo language. The research method usedin this research to collect data is the library method while analyzing the datausing the collection method using techniques for direct elements. From theresearch results it is shown that the position of the core noun of the Karolanguage relative clause is classified as a postnominal form, namely the relativeclause comes after the core noun. However, apart from being in postnominal form,there are several relative clauses in the Karo language that are also in prenominalform, that is, the relative clause comes before the main noun. There are two typesof relative clauses in the Karo language, namely restrictive relative clauses andnonrestrictive clauses. These two types of clauses are quite often found in relativeclauses in the Karo language. In connection with the relativity strategy, Karo language clauses apply a permutation strategy. With the permutation strategy, it can be seen that postnominal Karo language relative clauses cannot be expanded because the clauses become ungrammatical, while prenominal Karo language relative clauses can be expanded and are grammatical.

Abstract

Abstract: In creating a work of Islamic literature, the dominant author uses themes that contain romance. Of the many works in the form of Islamic novels, one of the works used as analysis in this study is the novel Cinta Dalam Sujudku by Diana Febi. This study describes the narrative flow that tells about romanticism with a religious theme in the novel Cinta Dalam Sujudku by Diana Febi. This Islamic novel narrates the romantic relationship with religious elements between the characters Zaki and Risa. This is what makes researchers interested in analyzing more deeply the types of love in the packaging of the novel Cinta Dalam Sujudku by Diana Febi. The purpose of this study is to identify the concept of the types of love in the novel. The method applied is descriptive qualitative method. The data analysis technique was carried out using the note-taking technique with literature study. The theory used in this study is the literary psychology theory of Robert John Sternberg's triangle of love. The researcher suggests that the relationship between the characters Zaki and Risa contains three main components in Sternberg's theory and includes the category of consummate love (true love). Abstract

This study aims to analyze people's understanding of distinguishing between di- as a prefix and di- as a preposition. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with a survey research process using questions. The population in this study is all people and is not determined by age. Based on 41 respondents, the results of the analysis show that the percentage of correct answers to all questions is 73.6% and the percentage of wrong answers to all questions is 26.3%. It can be concluded that the cause of errors in the use of di- affixes in the community is caused by ignorance of language structures, standard word systematics, and little awareness of the use of good and correct Indonesian.
