Abstract

The construction sector is one of the work sectors with a high level of risk of danger. The activities carried out by construction workers can cause errors and work accidents which are influenced by fatigue. This research aims to understand the factors related to work fatigue in construction workers in the Drinking Water Management System Project. The research method used was an explanatory study with a cross-sectional design, with a total sample of 30 people taken using a total sampling technique. Primary data was collected by distributing standard questionnaires, namely the Subjective Self Rating Test and Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS) 42. Data were analyzed univariately using the frequency distribution test, bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square test, and data were visualized using the Tableau Public 2022 application. From the results, the research found that age (p=0.104), education (p=0.419), and length of work (p=0.063) were not related to work fatigue, while nutritional status (p=0.042) and work stress (p=0.028) were related to the incidence of work fatigue. The research conclusion is that nutritional status and work stress are related to work fatigue in construction workers in the Drinking Water Management System Project. Suggestions to project organizers, it is necessary to carry out effective stress management and coping for workers to reduce work fatigue and maintain workers' nutritional status by providing food according to workers' calorie needs.

Abstract

Children with stunting are more susceptible to infectious diseases, and prolonged malnutrition can hinder their physical and mental development. Insufficient nutrition in toddlers, especially optimal nutrition such as breastfeeding (ASI), is one of the risk factors for stunting in children. The prevalence of stunting might be influenced by the provision of breastfeeding. The objective of this study is to determine the comparison of stunting incidence in the Denanyar Village, Jombang Regency, between mothers who provide exclusive breastfeeding and those using additional methods. This research employs a cross-sectional research strategy for correlation analysis. Mothers with children aged between 6 and 36 months in Denanyar Village constitute the entire population. Forty women in Denanyar Village with children aged between six and thirty-six months were selected using cluster random sampling. Data collection tools were based on surveys. Statistical tests used the Chi-Square format. The research results show a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and complementary feeding (MP-ASI) with the incidence of stunting in Denanyar Village, Jombang Regency, with a value of p = 0.000, p < α, α=0.05. The provision of exclusive breastfeeding and appropriate complementary feeding can enhance the intelligence of the future generation and support the optimal growth and development of children.

Abstract

Stroke is the main cause of death in Indonesia. Identification of stroke risk factors can use the Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS). Researchers have designed and developed a CDSS using the Framingham Risk Score (FRS) method to identify stroke in patients. The study aims to identify stroke risk factors using CDSS with the Framingham Risk Score method in dr Soebandi Hospital. This research was an analytic observational study using secondary data from medical record documents of neurology patients. . The sampling technique used was incidental sampling that met the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria. The inclusion criteria used in selecting medical records were medical records that had complete data regarding gender, age, systolic blood pressure, total cholesterol, HDL, smoking behavior, history of diabetes mellitus, and the patient's stroke incidence thus obtaining 14 patient medical records.. Data were analyzed using the FRS method. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there were 8 patients with high risk and 6 patients with low risk. However, further research needs to be carried out on the relationship between variables so that they can contribute in more detail to efforts to reduce the prevalence of stroke in society.
