Abstract

Abstrak: Implementasi kurikulum di program studi dihadapkan pada sejumlah masalah seperti tidak adanya kaitan anatara capaian pembelajaran mata kuliah dengan capaian pembelajaran program studi dan proses pembelajaran belum sesuai standar proses. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk merestrukturisasi capaian pembelajaran mata kuliah dan mengembangkan model implementasi mata kuliah pengembangan desain program pembelajaran. Jenis  penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskripsi kualitiatif dan kuantitatif, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan analisis dokumen serta pos tes. Data kualitatif dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif, sedangkan kuantitatif dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif.  Hasil menunjukan bahwa ada kaitan capaian pembelajaran mata kuliah dengan capaian pembelajaran program studi dan Sintaks model pembelajaran hasil pengembangan: pendahuluan, identifikasi masalah studi kasus, rekomendasi solusi, koneksi analisis dan pengembangan, asesmen dan refleksi tindak lanjut. Model pembelajaran meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menganalisis dan mengembangkan model desain pembelajaran dengan nilai mahasiswa mendapat nilai A = 28,6 %, nilai B+ = 71,4 %. Capaian pembelajaran mata kuliah disusun berdasarkan penjabaran tagihan capaian pembelajaran program studi dan model pembelajaran terdiri: pendahuluan, identifikasi masalah studi kasus, rekomendasi solusi, koneksi analisis dan pengembangan, asesmen dan refleksi tindak lanjut serta meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan model pembelajaran.Kata Kuci: desain pembelajaran model implementasiAbstract: The Curriculum implementation in study program is met on numbers of dilemma such as there is no getting on between subject objectives and goal of study program and learning process is not based on process standard. The aims of this study are to reorganize the learning objectives and develop curriculum implementation model of subject of learning program design development. Research sort use were qualitative and quantitative description. Data collected by interview, observation, document analyzing, posttest and analyzed using qualitative and quantitative description. The results show that there is relation between objective of subject with the learning goal of study program and The syntax of the model of instruction developed are introduction, problem identification in field as case study, recommended solution connected analyze and development, assessment and reflection and follow up. The developed model of instruction can improve student competence in analyzing and develop design model of instruction with 28.6 % high distinction and the rest of distinction 71.4 %. The subject objectives are formulated based on demand of study program goals, Instructional model consist of introduction, problem identification in field as case study, recommended solution connected analyze and development, assessment and reflection and follow up also can improve student competence in developing instructional model.Keywords: design instruction model implementation

Abstract

Abstrak: Perkembangan dunia teknologi dan informasi yang semakin pesat dapat memberikan alternatif bagi pendidik untuk menggunakan berbagai media pembelajaran salah satunya yaitu Physics Education and Technology (PhET). Tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk menjelaskan tentang 1). Efektivitas penerapan media simulasi PhET dalam proses pembelajaran fisika, 2) Strategi penerapan media simulasi PhET dalam proses pembelajaran fisika, serta 3) Kelebihan dan kekurangan media simulasi PhET dalam proses pembelajaran fisika. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan metode kualitatif berdasarkan filosofi post positivisme dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa tri-anggulasi (gabungan), yaitu penelitian kepustakaan melalui pengumpulan data, terutama data verbal seperti buku, artikel, catatan, dan berbagai literatur ilmiah lainnya. Data yang dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis secara induktif. Berdasarkan hasil tinjauan pustaka, analisis data, dan diskusi dapat disimpulkan bahwa 1). Media simulasi PhET secara efektif digunakan untuk membantu guru dan siswa dalam mempelajari konsep fisika, 2) media simulasi PhET sangat baik dikombinasikan dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri, dan 3) media simulasi PhET memiliki keuntungan yaitu efektif dalam menjelaskan konsep fisika yang sifatnya abstrak, sedangkan kekurangannya adalah bahwa implementasi di sekolah sangat tergantung pada unit komputer yang tersedia.Kata kunci: Simulasi Interaktif PhET, Inkuiri Terbimbing, Pembelajaran FisikaAbstract: The rapid development of technology and information world can provide an alternative for educators to use various learning media, one of which is Physics Education and Technology (PhET). The purpose of this review is to explain 1). The effectiveness of the application of PhET simulation media in the physics learning process, 2) The strategy of applying the PhET simulation media in the physics learning process, and 3) The anvantages and disanvantages of the PhET simulation media in the physics learning process. The writing of this article uses a qualitative method based on a post positivisme philosophy with data collection techniques in the form of tri-anggulation (combined), namely library research through data collection, especially verbal data such as books, articles, notes, and various other scientific literature. The data collected is then analyzed inductively. Based on the results of literature review, data analysis, and discussion it can be concluded that 1). PhET simulation media are effectively used to help teachers and students in learning physics concepts, 2) PhET simulation media are very well combined with inquiry learning models, and 3) PhET simulation media has the advantages of being effective in explaining abstract physical concepts, while the disadvantages is that the implementation in schools is very dependent on the computer units available.Keywords: PhET Interactive Simulations, Guided Inquiry, Physics Learning

Abstract

Abstrak: Motivasi dan Hasil belajar siswa di SMAN 3 Selong belum maksimal. Peneliti menerapkan metode widyawisata sebagai solusi mengurai persolan tersebut.  Penerapan metode ini,  lakukan dengan mengajak siswa belajar di  luar kelas (out door study)  dalam  suasana belajar yang menyenangkan.. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh  penerapan metode widyawisata terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran  geografi  maka  Penulis  melaksakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Dalam penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini  yang menjadi subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X IPS 1 sebanyak 30  siswa. Lokasi widyawisata di Sungai Tojang Selong sekitar  lingkungan SMA Negeri 3 Selong, Kelurahan Sandubaya Kecamatan Selong Kota  Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Jarak dari SMA N 3 Selong ke Lokasi widyawisata sekitar  400 M, dengan waktu tempuh 5 sanpai 10 menit. Tahapan penelitian ini  dengan 2 siklus. Pada siklus I motivasi belajar siswacukup tinggi,  Dari 30 siswa,  di atas 65 % setuju termotivasi dengan penerapan metode widyawisata.   Bahkan dari indikator rasa tertarik mereka terhadap metode ini mencapai 80 % .  Namun hasil belajar mereka masih rendah .  9 siswa atau 30 %  tidak tuntas. Selain itu daya serap siswa masih rendah, yakni   74, 23. Selanjutnya peneliti merencanakan dan  melaksanakan  siklus II. Pada   siklus ini diperoleh hasil bahwa motivasi belajar meningkat sekitar 10 %, dari siklus sebelumnya, begitu pula hasil belajar, angka ketuntasan mencapai 93 %,    berarti 23 % meningkat dari siklus I. Daya serap  siswa juga meningkat menembus angka 84, 53. Berdasarkan  hasil siklus II  ini, maka tidak  dilakukan siklus III, namun demikian bagi siswa yang belum tuntas  dilakukan pendekatan bimbingan secara individual.   Dari hasil pengolahan  data  dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode Widyawisata dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar geografi siswa SMA NEGERI 3 SELONG  semester genap  tahun pelajaran 2018-2019.Kata kunci: Motivasi; Hasil   belajar; Metode WidyawisataAbstract: Motivation and student learning outcomes in SMAN 3 SELONG have not been maximized. Researchers apply the Widyawisata method as a solution to unravel the problem. The application of this method, by inviting students to study outside the classroom (outdoor study) in a pleasant learning atmosphere. To understand the application of the study method to the motivation and student learning outcomes in geography learning, the author conducts classroom action research (CAR). In this classroom action research, the subject of the study was students of class X IPS 1 totaling 30 students. The location of the study tour on the Tojang Selong River around the neighborhood of SMA 3 Selong, Sandubaya Village, Selong District, East Lombok Regency. The distance from SMA N 3 Selong to the location of the study tour is around 400 M, with a travel time of 5 to 10 minutes. This research stage with 2 cycles. In the first cycle, students' motivation to learn was quite high. Out of 30 students, over 65% agreed to be motivated by the application of the study tour method. 80% of the indicators of interest in this method. But their learning outcomes are still low. 9 students or 30% did not complete. In addition, the absorption of students is still low, namely 74, 23. Furthermore, researchers discuss and conduct the second cycle. In this cycle the results obtained from learning increased by about 10%, from the previous cycle, as well as learning outcomes, completeness reached 93%, meaning 23% increased from cycle I. Students absorption also increased through the numbers 84, 53. Based on the results of the second cycle, then there is no cycle III, but nevertheless for students who have not done individually. From the results of data processing, it can be concluded that the method of applying Widyawisata can improve the motivation and learning outcomes of students in the senior high school of 3 Selong even semesters 2018-2019.Keywords: Motivation; Learning outcomes; The study method

Abstract

Abstrak: Program Penempatan Dosen di Sekolah (PDS) merupakan program pengembangan kompetensi dosen dalam pembelajaran sekolah yang dilaksanakan oleh Direktorat Belmawa Kemenristekdikti. Program yang dilaksanakan oleh dosen LPTK dan didampingi oleh guru sekolah mitra bertujuan untuk memberikan pengalaman praktis baik perencanaan, pelaksanaan, maupun penilaian pembelajaran secara nyata di sekolah. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk merefleksikan kegiatan PDS d SMA Negeri 1 Matarm, Lombok. Metode yang digunakan adalah Reflective Teaching Model yang merupakan bagian dari penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Kegiatan melibatkan 2 orang (Dosen dan Guru Mitra) dan 79 siswa sebagai penerima dampak dari kegiatan pembelajaran. Data dikumpulkan dengan dokumenter (RPP), Refleksi pembelajaran, dan Tes dan Non-tes. Hasil refleksi pembelajaran menunjukkan: (1) Kegiatan PDS ini telah memberikan pengalaman praktis kepada dosen terkait dengan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian pembelajaran berdasarkan K-13 revisi 2017; (2) Langkah-langkah dalam pembelajaran Teaching Learning Cycles (BKOF, MOT, JCOT, dan ICOT) dapat terintegrasi dengan Literacy dan unsur 4C dalam Pembeajaran Abad 21 (Creativity, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, dan Communication; (3) Kegiatan pembelajaran terintegrasi tersebut telah mampu meningkatkan partisipasi dan kemampuan peserta didik dengan rata-rata skor 87,98 dengan tingkat ketuntasan mencapai 92,41%.Kata kunci: Pemberlajaran Abad 21, TLC, PDS, Bahasa Inggris, K-13Abstract: The Program for Lecturer Placement at School (known as PDS/Penempatan Dosen di Sekolah) is a program for the improvement of lecturers’ pedagogic competency initated by the Directorate of Belmawa Kemenristekdikti. The program, carried out by LPTK lecturers and accompanied by teachers from partnership schools, aims to provide practical experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating real learning at schools. This paper aims to reflect the PDS program in SMA 1 Matarm, Lombok. The method used is the Reflective Teaching Model. The activity involved 2 people (Lecturer and Teacher Partner) and 79 students as recipients of the impact of the learning activities. Data is collected by documentary (Lesson Plan), learning reflection, and tests and non-tests. The results of the learning reflection show: (1) The PDS program has provided practical experience to lecturers related to planning, implementing, and evaluating learning based on K-13 revised 2017; (2) Steps in Teaching Learning Cycles model  such as BKOF, MOT, JCOT, and ICOT can be integrated with Literacy Program and 4C elements in 21st Century Learning (Creativity, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Communication; (3) The integrated learning activities have been able to increase students’ participation and ability with an average score of 87.98 and a mastery level reaching 92.41%.Keywords: 21st Century Learning, TLC, PDS, English, K-13

Abstract

Abstrak: Perubahan pola pembelajaran saat ini terlihat masif dilakukan di semua jenjang pendidikan akibat pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujauan untuk mengupas secara teoritis berdasarkan studi pustaka pembelajaran online berbasis proyek di tengah pandemi Covid-19 yang berefek pada kebijakan belajar di rumah. Sistem pembelajaran online berbasis proyek memberikan banyak peluang untuk mengakses bahan ajar oleh warga pembelajar. Banyak flatform maupun media online yang bisa diakses melalui jaringan internet oleh pengajar maupun peserta didik. Beberapa flatform gratis yang sudah terbukti efektif dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran online secara klasikal diantaranya adalah Google Classroom dan Edmodo. Setidaknya ada 12 aplikasi gratis lainnya sebagai media dan sumber belajar online yang dapat dimanfaatkan di tengah pandemi Covid-19 yaitu Rumah Belajar, Meja Kita, Icando, Indonesia X, Google for Education, Kelas Pintar, Microsoft Office 365, Quipper School, Ruangguru, Sekolahmu, Zenius dan Cisco Webex. Beberapa hal yang menjadi kendala dalam penerapan pembelajaran online diantaranya kuota internet yang terbatas dan masih belum familiarnya tenaga pendidik beserta peserta didik dalam mengaplikasikannya. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya upaya khusus yang lebih masif untuk mengatasi problematika ini mulai dari individu masing-masing, dukungan keluarga, lembaga/institusi pendidikan, jasa provider dan pemerintah. Salah satu pendekatan pembelajaran yang dapat memaksimalkan pembelajaran online adalah pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Pembelajaran ini memberikan peluang kepada peserta didik untuk mempelajari konsep secara mendalam sekaligus juga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mereka.Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Online, Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek, Covid-19Abstract: Changes in learning patterns currently seem massive in all levels of education due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This research aims to explore the theoretically-based library study on project-based online learning amid the Covid-19 pandemic that affects home learning policies. The project-based online learning system provides many opportunities to access teaching materials by learning citizens. Many online platforms and media can be accessed through the internet by teachers and students. Some of the free platforms that have been proven to be effective in managing online classically learning include Google Classroom and Edmodo. There are at least 12 other free applications as media and online learning resources that can be utilized during the Covid-19 pandemic. Those are Rumah Belajar, Meja Kita, Icando, Indonesia X, Google for Education, Smart Class, Microsoft Office 365, Quipper School, Ruangguru, Sekolahmu, Zenius, and Cisco Webex. Some things that become obstacles in the application of online learning include limited internet quota and the unfamiliar teaching staff and students in applying it. So that there is a need for more massive special efforts to overcome this problem, they were starting from each individual, family support, educational institutions, service providers, and government. One learning approach that can maximize online learning is project-based learning. This learning provides opportunities for students to learn concepts in depth while also being able to improve their learning outcomes.Keywords: Online Learning, Project-Based Learning, Covid-19

Abstract

Abstrak: Model discovery learning merupakan model yang disarankan pada implementasi Kurikulum 2013, namun masih banyak guru yang belum memiliki gambaran yang jelas dalam penggunaan model discovery learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model discovery learning terhadap penguasaan konsep fisika peserta didik kelas XI MAN 1 Lombok Barat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitan quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian yaitu post-test only control grup design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik XI MIA MAN 1 Lombok Barat tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Pengambilan sampel digunakan teknik cluster random sampling sehingga terpilih kelas XI MIA 1 berjumlah 29 orang sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas XI MIA 2 berjumlah 30 orang sebagai kelas kontrol. Kelas kontrol diajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvesional sedangkan kelas eksperimen diajarkan dengan model discovery learning. Penguasaan konsep fisika peserta didik diukur menggunakan skor hasil belajar kognitif (C1 sampai C6). Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 25 butir soal. Data hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan konsep fisika peserta didik kelas kontrol dalam kategori cukup dengan nilai rerata 62.6 dan kelas eksperimen dalam kategori baik dengan nilai rerata 77.7. Hipotesis penelitian diuji menggunakan uji-t separated varians dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa nilai t_hitung yaitu 4.955 lebih besar dari t_tabel yaitu 1.700 yang artinya H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model discovery learning terhadap penguasaan konsep fisika peserta didik kelas XI MAN 1 Lombok Barat.Kata kunci: discovery learning, penguasaan konsep fisikaAbstract: Discovery learning model is a recommended model for the implementation of 2013 Curriculum, but there are still many teachers who do not have a clear picture in using the discovery learning model. This study aims to determine the effect of discovery learning models on the mastery of physics concepts in class XI MAN 1 West Lombok students. The type of research used is quasi-experimental research with research design that is post-test only control group design. The population of this study were all XI MIA MAN 1 West Lombok students in the 2019/2020 school year. Sampling was used cluster random sampling technique so that selected class XI MIA 1 amounted to 29 people as the control class and class XI MIA 2 totaled 30 people as the control class. The control class was taught using the conventional learning model while the experimental class was taught using the discovery learning model. Mastery of students' physics concepts is measured using scores of cognitive learning outcomes (C1 to C6). The instrument used was a multiple choice test of 25 items. The result data obtained showed that the mastery of the physics concepts of the control class students was in the sufficient category with an average value of 62.6 and the experimental class in the good category with a mean value of 77.7. The research hypothesis was tested using a t-test separated variance with a significance level of 5%. Data analysis shows that the value of tcount is 4.955 which is greater than ttable which is 1.700 which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of discovery learning model on the mastery of physics concepts in class XI MAN 1 Lombok Barat in 2019/2020.Keywords: discovery learning, mastery of physics concepts

Abstrak: Salah satu model yang dapat digunakan untuk melatih kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik adalah model pembelajaran guided discovery. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran guided discovery terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik pada tahun  2019 bertempat di SMA 6 Mataram. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian non-equivalent control group design with pre-testand post-test. Teknik pengambilan sampel digunakanpurposive sampling, sehingga terpilih XI MIPA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI MIPA 5 sebagai kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen diberi perlakuan berupa model  pembelajaranguided discovery sedangkan kelas kontrol diberi perlakuan berupa model pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen penelitian terdiri atas tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah (KPM) berupa tes uraian dan tes hasil belajar berupa tes pilihan ganda untuk pre-tes digunakan materi gerak harmonis sederhana, untuk post-tes digunakan materi elastisitas zat padat,  dengan mempertimbangkan validitas, reliabilitas, taraf kesukaran soal dan daya beda soal. Uji analisis hipotestis  menggunakan uji manova bantuan IBM SPSS 23. Hasil uji hipotesis didapatakan nilai signifikan 0,004 pada taraf nilai signifikan 0,05 yang artinya H0 ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran guided discovery terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik.Kata kunci: Guided discoveri, Kemampuan pemecahan masalah, Hasil belajarAbstract: One model that can be used to practice problem solving skills and improve student learning outcomes is the guided discovery learning model. This study aims to determine the effect of guided discovery learning models on problem solving abilities and physics learning outcomes of students in 2019 at SMA 6 Mataram. This type of research used quasi-experimental research design with non-equivalent control group design with pre-test and post-test. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, so XI MIPA 4 was chosen as the experimental class and XI MIPA 5 was chosen as the control class. The experimental class was treated as a guided discovery learning model while the control class was treated as a conventional learning model. The research instrument consisted of a problem solving ability test in the form of a breakdown test and a test of learning outcomes in the form of a multiple choice test for pre-tests using simple harmonic motion material, for post-tests the material used was solidity elasticity, taking into account validity, reliability, level of difficulty problems and different power problems. Hypothesis analysis test using IBM SPSS 23 manova test. Hypothesis test results obtained a significant value of 0.004 at a significant value of 0.05 which means that H0 is rejected. Abstract

Abstrak: Model pembelajaran POE merupakan suatu model belajar yang mana fase-fasenya berdasarkan singkatannya yaitu Predict, Observe, dan Explain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran POE terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika SMA ditinjau dari sikap ilmiah peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian berupa factorial design 2x2. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 6 Mataram dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Dua sampel yang diambil dijadikan sebagai kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas X MIA 3 dan kelas kontrol yaitu kelas X MIA 2. Data sikap ilmiah diambil menggunakan angket dengan 4 alternatif pilihan. Data kemampuan pemecahan masalah diukur dalam dua keadaan yaitu pada saat proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan lembar penilaian kemampuan pemecahan masalah berdasarkan jawaban peserta didik pada LKPD dan tes akhir berupa soal dalam bentuk uraian. Hasil analisis data menggunakan analisis varians (ANAVA) dua arah dengan taraf signifikansi 5% berbantuan IBM SPSS Statistik 16. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) tidak terdapat pengaruh model POE terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika SMA ditinjau dari sikap ilmiah peserta didik, karena nilai sig yang diperoleh adalah 0,932  (lebih besar dari 0,05); 2) tingkat kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik pada saat proses pembelajaran termasuk ke dalam kategori sedang dan tinggi; serta 3) tidak terdapat interaksi antara model POE dan sikap ilmiah peserta didik terhadap kemampuan pemecahan  masalah fisika SMA, karena nilai sig yang diperoleh adalah 0,614 (lebih besar dari 0,05).Kata kunci: model pembelajaran POE (Predict-Observe-Explain), kemampuan pemecahan masalah, sikap ilmiah.Abstract: The aim of this research was to find out the effect of Predict-Observe-Explain learning model to the physics problem solving skill observed from the scientific attitude of the students. The type of this research was quasi experimental with a 2x2 factorial design. The population was all 10th grade students of MIA in SMAN 6 Mataram academic year 2017-2018 in four classes, and the sampling technique applied was purposive sampling. The data of student’s problem solving skill were collected by giving essays (8 questions) and the scientific attitude was measured by using questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed by applying 2-way ANOVA, assisted by SPSS 16 with the (α) significance level of 5%. The results show that the significant value for the effect of learning model consider from scientificant attitude in amount 0,932 which this value was bigger from significant level (α), and significant value for interaction between Predict-Observe-Explain learning model with scientific attitude in amount 0,614 which this value is bigger from significant level (α). According to the data, can be conclude: there was no an effect of Predict-Observe-Explain learning model to the physics problem solving skill observed from the scientific attitude of the students; and there was no interaction between Predict-Observe-Explain learning model with scientific atitude to the physics problem solving skill of the students.Keywords: Predict-Observe-Explain Learning Model, physics problem solving skill , scientific attitude

Abstract

Abstract: Snow Country is the story about the figurative lives of geishas in Japanese society. As a Nobel Prize recipient Snow Country is widely considered to be a masterpiece, a powerful tale of wasted love set amid the desolate beauty of western Japan, from which the writer configure and represent various cultural and educational values within Japanese community. These values are expressed through a beautiful narration of the life of three important figures, Shimamura the guest and Komako the country geisha, and another country geisha names Yoko. Shimamura somehow likes Komako and therefore visits the resort a few times. Komako really likes Shimamura that she has done a lot of things like a crazy person in love. In addition, there is a bit of healthy competition going on between Komako and Yoko which symbolizes the practices of ‘competitive’ life surrounding the Japanese. Here, as a part of cultural and educational value, the life of ‘modern’ geisha has been justified as one of the ways to keep and sustain Japanese old tradition which have become the basis of most educational practices in the country which worth following.Keywords: Character education value, figurative life, geisha, new historicism

Abstract

Abstrak: Proses pembelajaran di SMAN 7 Mataram khususnya pembelajaran biologi belum mampu memanfaatkan fasilitas sekolah seperti LCD dan dalam proses belajar masih berpusat pada guru. Materi yang disampaikan belum sepenuhnya dipahami oleh siswa sehingga tidak mencapai nilai KKM, Hal ini terjadi karena penggunaan media dan model yang belum bervariasi, sehingga siswa merasa bosan dan berdampak pada hasil belajar. Adapun tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran partner swicth dengan media microsoft powerpoint dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan secara konvensional (ceramah, diskusi kelompok dan guru menjelaskan materi menggunakan buku cetak) pada materi sistem saraf manusia. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah true-eksperimen. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 7 Mataram dengan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas IPA.Kata kunci: Partner Swicth, media, microsoft powerpoint, aktivitas, hasil belajar.Abstract: The learning process at SMAN 7 Mataram in particular biology learning has not been able to utilize school facilities such as LCD and in the learning process is still teacher-centered. The material presented is not fully understood by students so it does not reach the KKM value. This occurs because the use of media and models that have not varied, so students feel bored and have an impact on learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in student activity and learning outcomes that were taught with the swithth partner learning model with Microsoft PowerPoint media with students who were taught conventionally (lectures, group discussions and teachers explained the material using printed books) on the material of the human nervous system. The design of this study is true-experiment.
