Abstract

This study evaluates the application of Information Channels and Complaint Handling (SIPP) for BPJS Health participants at Sawit Indah Perbaungan Public Hospital. The research method uses in-depth interviews. There were nine informants in this study consisting of 5 BPJS participants and four informants who were Sawit Indah Perbaungan Public Hospital employees. The study results indicate that the usual obstacle Sawit Indah Perbaungan Hospital faces in implementing SIPP is the length of response or answers to the effects of complaints from BPJS participants who use the SIPP complaint service caused by the network. The benefit felt by BPJS Health participants with SIPP is that it is more effective in submitting complaints. In conclusion, overall, the application of SIPP for BPJS Health participants at Sawit Indah Perbaungan Public Hospital has been running effectively. Abstract

This study aims to develop ICU Card Talk as a communication tool for mechanically ventilated patients. The method used in this study was a Research and Development approach with data collection stages through literature studies, interviews, and observations to formulate strategic issues and design ICU Card Talk content designs through focus group discussions based on strategic issues. The results of this study are color graphic communication cards equipped with writing according to the patient's basic needs and patient complaints measuring 10x15 cm using a glossy paper. The results of the content validity test by assessing the I-CVI showed that the ICU Card Talk content was valid with a value of 1.0, and the reliability value obtained a reliability coefficient > 0.6 which stated that the ICU Card Talk content was reliable. In conclusion, ICU Card Talk can be used as a communication tool that is easy to use as a means of interaction between patients with mechanical ventilation and medical staff so that patient communication needs can be met. This will indirectly reduce the patient's stress level, which will affect the patient's recovery. Keywords: Intensive Care, Communication, Mechanical Ventilation

Abstract

This study aims to describe the function of the staffing head of the room in the COVID-19 isolation room. The method used is a qualitative case study. The survey results obtained two main themes: proposing additional staff and carrying out arrangements for variations in team composition, duty schedules, and division of tasks into patient rooms and nurse stations. In conclusion, the head of the room carries out the staffing function in the COVID-19 isolation room, including staff recruitment, scheduling, and assignment of nurses. The charge of the room carries out staff recruitment by proposing additional nurses. The schedule setting is adjusted to the conditions and the number of nurses available, making it easier to arrange a guard schedule. The division of tasks is distinguished between nurses caring for patients and nurses at the nurse station. Keywords: Head of Room, COVID-19 Isolation Room, Staffing

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of chlorhexidine solution on oral hygiene in preventing halitosis in clients with decreased consciousness in the ICU at PMI Hospital, Bogor. This type of research was a quiz-experimental with a research design before and after the intervention of giving chlorhexidine solution. The population and sample were 52 patients with decreased consciousness treated in the PMI Bogor Hospital ICU. Data collection techniques use observation sheets administratively. The data obtained will be analyzed univariately and bivariate with the T-test. The statistical test results showed a significant (significant) difference between the average halitosis score in the listening group and the chlorhexidine gluconate group. In conclusion, 0.12% chlorhexidine gluconate solution is more effective than a listening solution and better at preventing halitosis in patients with impaired consciousness in the ICU at PMI Hospital Bogor. Abstract

This study aims to determine client satisfaction in receiving national health insurance (JKN)/Universal Health Coverage services. This study uses the systematic literature review analysis method, which operates as many as 15 national and international journals uploaded via Google Scholar and PubMed from 2019-2021. Based on research results from 15 journals that have been reviewed, it is known that the decline in services is influenced by the type of country of the JKN client. From the study, information was obtained that there was a decrease in JKN or universal health coverage client satisfaction with an increase in the number of clients in developing countries. In contrast, in developed countries, such as Europe and the Americas, there was an increase in the quality of universal health coverage services. In developed countries, the service is excellent by prioritizing customer satisfaction, whereas, in developing countries, the service seems less good with inadequate service facilities, an overwhelming number of clients, and a small number of health workers and not in proportion to the number of patients. Developing countries have a low level of satisfaction with JKN/universal health coverage services, with a disproportionate ratio of health workers to patients and a significant increase in the number of participants. Abstract

This study aims to identify problems and develop a quality improvement strategy design in the perinatology installation of X Hospital. The method used is a case report using an action research approach. The results showed that the majority level of the preceptor's role was still low (68.2%), but the psychological empowerment and self-efficacy level of preceptor nurses was high (54.5%; 59.1%). The story of commitment to the preceptor's role and the preceptor's perception of benefits and rewards was also low (66.7%; 66.7%), but the preceptor's perception of support was high (66.7%). Evaluation of the implementation of the electronic logbook obtained data that the majority of nurses felt that the role and function of the head of the room in program implementation were good and the technical evaluation of program implementation was also appropriate, but the need for socialization in implementing the program needed to be increased again. In conclusion, nurse managers must strive to educate and improve the motivation and commitment of nurses in supporting the change program, followed by program monitoring and evaluation activities.
