Abstract

The last Deckard years developing Inverter technology for renewable energy and high efficiency and more improvement solar and wind power plant. Transformer less inverter technology is best and improves efficiency, power quality and reduces switching loss. single-phase grid connected transformerless photovoltaic (PV) inverter for residential application is presented. The inverter is derived from a boost cascaded with buck converter along with a line frequency unfolding circuitIn this research paper transformer less photovoltaic (PV) inverter is going to be more adopted in order to achieve high benefit.  The selected inverters are the full-bridge inverter with bipolar modulation, full-bridge inverter with DC bypass and the Highly Efficient and Reliable Inverter Concept (HERIC). A low voltage single-phase grid-connected PV system is analyzed to verify the discussions.

Abstract

Heart sound analysis has been a popular topic of studies since a few decades ago. Most of the studies are done in PC platform since embedding the complex algorithm into a simple small device such as microcontroller board seems to be very difficult due to limited processing speed and memory. This study classifies normal and abnormal heart sound signal from four categories of Heart Valve Disease. An automated system that consists of segmentation, feature extraction and classification of the heart sound signal is developed in PC and hardware platforms. A multimedia board completed with a single board computer, audio codec and graphic LCD is used to make a portable heart valve disease screening device with electronic stethoscope as the input for the system. Both system recorded 96.3% specificity. However, the portable device has only 77.78% sensitivity and 87.04% accuracy compared to PC platform that have sensitivity and accuracy of more than 90%.

Abstract

As Digital Marketing is becoming more popular, the number of customer’s interpretation on brands is increasing promptly which makes it firmer for companies to evaluate their brand image and to digital market their products on the web. The Forensic Analysis is used to determine and analyze patterns of fraudulent activities on images. Pixel Analysis and Least square support vector machine are used to compare and associate the scores acquired from the images into one result per tweet. We selected these techniques to compare and find the accuracy of the Digital Marketing images with the received product’s images to identify the fraudulent activities on images in Digital Marketing. As the result of this project the customer can identify whether the received product is exactly what is given in the online purchase website.

Abstract

In this work, a speed controlled, the programmable, low-cost, high-efficiency spin coating system is designed and implemented. The system is built from commercially available hard disk drivers DC motor, vacuum pump, speed sensor, brushless driver circuit carries Toshiba's TB6575FNG IC, PIC18F47J53 Microcontroller and using the interactive user interface to communicate with a user. Three different voltage stages and pulse width modulation techniques were used to guarantee accurate spinning speed and time. This system provides a wide range of precise and stable multi-step speeds rang of 1500 to 8,000 rpm. To evaluate the implemented system, ZnO thin films have been deposited by the sol-gel method on a glass substrate. Homogenous and uniform thickness films were obtained. The outstanding features of this system are the stability, accuracy, low energy consumption and durability, and the simplicity of adjusting multi-step spinning speed and time by using the interactive user interface.

Abstract

Data scale becomes a bottleneck in user behaviors analysis, many data mining algorithms become Inefficient slow in this circumstances. This paper explores an effective approach to mine latent knowledge in large scale data, which combines the basal principles of association rules, MapReduce model and Hbase database. First, general principles and algorithm of association rules are given. Second, the work mechanism and traits of MapReduce model and HBase are introduced. Finally, it gives detailed design methods that how to combine the basal principles of association rules, MapReduce model and Hbase database. Sufficient experiments prove that the processing velocity of parallel approach nearly decuple unparallel approach’s. Therefore, the approach combined association-rule and cloud computing is a successful and valuable exploration. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i2.3443

Abstract

PV output uncertainty, the PV scheduling problem has become urgent. The combined energy storage and PV can solve effectively the problem. We established the joint energy-saving economic scheduling model on PV- Storage generation, which mainly included the penalty model about PV positive deviation output and the penalty model about PV negative deviation output and "overflowing negative revenue" model. Considering the uncertainty of the PV output, this paper analyzed the prediction error distribution characteristics about PV output by the probability density estimate method. Based on the LHS (Latin hypercube sampling) –SR (scenes reduce) technology, PV uncertain output is converted into a finite PV output scenes under different probability conditions. Finally, we used the PV output scenarios as the input data, and we solved the proposed Model based on GAMS (General Algebraic Model System) software, which the optimization goal is the joint expectation maximum power generation benefit. Results show that the proposed method is effective, and had good engineering application value.

Abstract

In this paper, the network reconfiguration in the presence of distributed generation units with the aim of improving the reliability of the network is studied. For this purpose four reliability parameters in the objective function are considered, which is average energy not supplied system average interruption frequency index, system average interruption duration index and momentary average interruption frequency index. The new method will be normalized objective function. Another suggestion of this paper are considering the different fault rates, locating time of faults type and prioritization of customers based on their importance. This nonlinear problem has optimized by particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm.

Abstract

With the wide application of the underwater vehicle in ocean exploration, bionics propulsion aroused intensive interest among researchers. Bionic locomotion of aquatic animals has the advantages of highly maneuver, power-efficient endurance and so on. In the paper the mechanism of duck’s swimming is studied and a novel bionics propulsion mechanism is designed and analyzed. The mechanics of underwater vehicle is investigated by ADAMS. Dynamics response of the system is analyzed by using numerical method. The simulation results suggest that the designed propulsion mechanism can imitate the movement modes of the duck’s webbed feet, and implement the motion of vehicle in fluid environment. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i8.3133

Abstract

Cooling pads are commonly used to reduce temperature of laptop to avoid overheating problem. However, existing cooling pads are prone to various limitations: fixed voltage in the hardware component, inaccurate temperature readings and lacked of computer-based temperature monitoring functions. In this paper, a laptop cooling system with multivoltage fan speed controller using real-time processor temperature readings is proposed. A graphical user interface (GUI) and color coded LEDs are also implemented to provide visual inspection of the temperature values captured from the laptop. The temperature values are displayed in graph and tabular form.  The performance of the proposed cooling pad with computer-based monitoring application is evaluated against two other types of existing cooling pad systems.  The experiments have shown that the temperature values can be monitored clearly with the proposed GUI. More importantly, the proposed cooling pad system has the potential to achieve lower temperature faster than the rest of the existing cooling pad systems.

Abstract

Semantically, objects in unstructured document are related each other to perform a certain entity relation. This certain entity relation such: drug-drug interaction through their compounds, buyer-seller relationship through the goods or services, etc. Motivated by those kind of interaction, this study proposes a method to extract those objects and their interactions. It is presented a general framework of object-interaction mining of large corpora. The framework is started with the initial step in extracting a single object in the unstructured document. In this study, the initial step is a pattern learning method that is applied to drug-label documents to extract drug-names. We utilize an existing external knowledge to identify a certain regular expressions surrounding the targeted object and the probabilities of those regular expression, to perform the pattern learning process. The performance of this pattern learning approach is promising to apply in this relation extraction area. As presented in the results of this study, the best f-score performance of this method is 0.78 f-score. With adjusting of some parameters and or improving the method, the performance can be potentially improved.
