Low frequency oscillation (LFO) is a negative phenomenon repeated for the power system increases the risk of instability. In recent years, power systems stabilizer (PSS) for damping low frequency oscillations is used. With FACTS devices such as integrated power flow controller (UPFC) can control power flow and transient stability increase. So, UPFC low frequency oscillation damping can be used instead of PSS. UPFC through direct control voltage and low frequency oscillation damping can be improved. In this study, a single linear model of synchronous machine connected to an infinite bus Heffron-Philips in the presence of UPFC to improve low frequency oscillation damping is used. The selection of the output feedback parameters for the UPFC controllers is converted to an optimization problem which is solved by cuckoo optimization algorithm (COA). COA, as a new evolutionary optimization algorithm, is used in multiple applications. This optimization algorithm has a strong ability to find the most optimistic results for dynamic stability improvement. The controller UPFC and damping in MATLAB software environment is designed and simulated. The simulation was performed for a variety of loads and for various loads and more effective UPFC controller electromechanical oscillation damping compared to other algorithm types is shown.

Differences of market force of coal and power industries caused this contradiction “market for coal, electricity for plans ”. C&P (Coal and power) industries issues around dual pricing system seriously hampered the development of C&P industries. This paper used the System Dynamics method to analyze the composition, characteristics and ways to build of the C&P industries integrated energy system, building feedback causal relationships of the C&P industries integrated energy system and their subsystems. Finally, this article established System Dynamics flow diagram. The analysis showed that C&P industries need rational planning, coordinating collaboration; strengthen the government's guide and regulation, continuously improve the transport capacity between enterprises. The Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) is an important management problem in the field of physical distribution and logistics. Good vehicle routing can not only increase the profit of logistics but also make logistics management more scientific. The Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP) constrained by the capacity of a vehicle is the extension of VRP. Our research applies a two-phase algorithm to address CVRP. It takes the advantages of Simulated Annealing (SA) and ant colony optimization for solving the capacitated vehicle routing problem. In the first phase of proposed algorithm, simulated annealing provides a good initial solution for ant colony optimization. In the second phase, Iterative Local Search (ILS) method is employed to seeking the close-to-optimal solution in local scope based on the capacity of the vehicle. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is superior to original ant colony optimization and simulated annealing separately reported on partial benchmark problems. eXtensible Mark-up Language (XML) has been widely used as the de facto standard for data exchange over the Web. It is crucial to ensure that the data can be mapped correctly into the underlying data storage format, that is, without any lost of information. The two mapping strategies are structural-based and model-based. The structural-based mapping involves the presence of Data Type Definition (DTD) for schema mapping while the model-based mapping does not require the present of DTD or any schema for the mapping purpose. The structural-based mapping is good especially for data-centric type of data, i.e., data which is structured and can be binded into certain schema. As such, this paper evaluates and compares the performances of two selected existing structural-based mapping via simulation. Two main evaluations are: (i) storing the XML data into relational database (RDB), and (ii) querying the XML data from the RDB. The time taken for each respective process will be recorded and compared. From the experimental results, it is observed that the s-XML approach outperformed the SAX approach in terms of storing and query evaluations for most of the test cases conducted.

Molecular statics can simulate the process without time limitation, while molecular dynamics can only study the motion of system in small time range. Therefore, it’s necessary to give attention and research on the application of molecular statics in engineering materials field. In order to investigate the applicability analysis of molecular statics simulation in nanomaterials scientific research, taking 3D copper monocrystal as the research object, the corresponding molecular statics model was established, the stress-strain data and Young's modulus at the absolute-zero temperature is got.Comparing the result of molecular static simulation with molecular dynamics simulation and the known experimental data, the results show that the model established by molecular statics can explain the mechanical properties of copper monocrystal subjected to tensile loading. P2P file sharing system in campus networks has attracted most of campus users, which can share many useful study and software files and entertainment resource. How to solve “Free Riders" and "Tragedy of Common" widespread problems has become the crucial for P2P system in campus network. In this paper, an incentive mechanism algorithm IMA based on contribution value has been proposed. According to the characteristics of file sharing system in campus network, the rules of the IMA are quantitative for sharing factors such as sharing files size and sharing rate, sharing time and files types. Experimental results and analysis show that the IMA for P2P system can effectively motivate user to share its resource and decease the selfish users, which can take the fairness and efficiency into account in P2P file system. This Wireless Mobile Battery Charger project is using technique of inductive coupling. The basic concept of his technique was applied in transformer construction. With this technique, the power from AC or DC can be transfer through the medium of magnetic field or air space. In this project, the method is divided into two major activities which is to purpose circuit construction and to fabricate the prototype. The result is to evaluate the distance of power that can be transferred using technique of inductive coupling.

Auto tracking mobile robot is a device that able to detect and track a target. For an auto tracking device, the most crucial part of the system is the object identification and tracking of the moving targets. In order to improve the accuracy of identification of object in different illumination and background conditions, the implementation of HSI color model is used in image processing algorithm. In this project HSI-based color filtering algorithm were used for object identification. This is because HSI parameter are more stable in different light and background conditions, so it is selected as the main parameters of this system. Pixy CMUcam5 is used as the vision sensor while Arduino Uno as the main microcontroller that controls all the input and output of the device. Besides that, L293D is used as the motor driver to control the movement of two DC motors that attached to the wheel of the robot. Moreover, two servo motors were used to control the pan-tilt movement of the vision sensor. Experimental results demonstrate that when HSI color-based filtering algorithm is applied to visual tracking it improves the accuracy and stability of tracking under the condition of varying brightness, or even in the low-light-level environment. Besides that, this algorithm also prevents tracking loss due to object color appears in the background.

Due to the poor conditions of wet brake cooling and the high temperature of the working characteristics, this paper intended to introduce the oil film vadose between the brake linings, considered the variation of volume of grooves on the friction plate, and then proposes the three-dimensional transient dynamic response of fluid-solid coupling mathematical model. By parameter analysis of the disc transient thermal stress field distribution on the friction plate, and according to the real dimension of the brake disc, the distribution of the temperature and the stress of the wet brake disc during the braking are analyzed, the variation of temperature field and stress field in friction plate are obtained. The data curves shown the temperature and the stress are coupled. Finally, the results shows that the mathematical model is effective and feasible.
