Abstract

Long life lithium ion batteries and methanol fuel cells have been persuaded as ways to make the electrical components more mobile, consumers expectations are still far from being met due to the added weight and expenses for battery replacement. The discovery of wireless power transfer as a new option, and holds great promise to leave the oversized battery. The design of wireless power transfer applies the concept of Magnetic Coil Resonant System (MCRS). The concept of MCRS is similar with a function of an antenna to transfer the power from one point to another. Multisim13.0 software is applied to predict the performance of the proposed MCRS. This software simulation is useful to estimate the output wave on the virtual oscilloscope and to obtain the reading of output voltage from the virtual multimeter. The transmitter side contains power supply, transmitter oscillator circuit and transmitter magnetic coil. Transmitter circuit convert DC to AC waveform and the receiver circuit convert AC to DC voltage. The DC Source that connected to Transmitter was provided by the DC source regulator acts as DC source to adjust Voltage and Current separately. The project show the efficiency of the wireless power transfer with different coil diameter and a distance between the transmitter and receiver coil. At a distance of 15 cm, power are successfully transmitted as it is indicated by the LED light to turn on. The increment of size in coil diameter has given a higher power and longer coverage distance for wireless transfer power.

Abstract

Gedung Efarina  merupakan salah satu gedung di kota Pematangsiantar dengan fungsinya sebagai tempat perkuliahan. Gedung ini kebutuhan energi listriknya disuplai dari PLN sebagai sumber utama dengan daya sebesar 120 kVA.  Tujuan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan profil Intensitas Konsumsi Energi Listrik dengan berbagai peralatan yang memakai energi listrik sesuai jam operasionalnya. Dari hasil penelitian didapat IKE pada tiap gedung-gedung tersebut. gedung A pada lantai satu nilai IKE nya 1,09 kWh/m2/bulan ,gedung A pada lantai dua nilai IKE nya 1,32 kWh/ m2/bulan .Pada gedung B pada lantai satu nilai IKE nya 1,19 kWh/ m2/bulan, gedung B pada lantai dua nilai IKE nya 3,32 kWh/ m2/bulan .Pada gedung C pada lantai satu nilai IKE nya 3,06 kWh/ m2/bulan, gedung C pada lantai dua nilai IKE nya 1,95 kWh/ m2/bulan. .Pada gedung Utama pada lantai satu nilai IKE nya 3,9 kWh/ m2/bulan.,gedung Utama pada lantai dua nilai IKE nya 10,8 kWh/ m2/bulan dan gedung lainnya nilai IKE nya 3,8kWh/ m2/bulan.

Abstract

Peranan tenaga listrik  sangat penting saat ini dan tidak dapat dibayangkan kehidupan tanpa  listrik, tidak hanya sebagai cahaya yang menyinari jalan- jalan di kota kita saat malam hari tetapi juga merupakan pendorong dari kekuatan ekonomi,sosial, dan budaya.  Sumber daya yang dimiliki Kabupaten Simalungun terdiri dari berbagai sektor terutama pariwisata yang selalu berkembang di Kawasan Danau Toba. Apabila  sumber daya dikelola secara  tepat dan terarah akan mengakibatkan sumber daya yang dimiliki daerah Danau Toba dan sekitarnya dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Keadaan ini  membuat dan pemerintah  dan pengembang usaha untuk menjamin  ketersediaan pasokan listrik. Supaya ketersediaan  ini mampu teratasi dibutuhkan suatu strategi yaitu prediksi kebutuhan energi dalam periode waktu tertentu. Dalam prediksi ini menggunakan analisa regresi dengan memperhitungkan pengaruh Produk Domestik Regional Bruto. Berdasarkan hasil prediksi beban listrik pada tahun 2024 terus mengalami peningkatan dari tahun ke tahun. Tahun 2020 sebesar 31.100.794 kWh sehingga tahun 2024  mencapai 35.212.427 kWh.

Abstract

Maintain the availability of clean water in a multy-storey building make the water pump motor oprate continuously which can cause motor damage quickly, because there is no replacement system change of operation of the clean water pump motor conventional outomatic control. PLC (Programmable Logic Control) type Schneider Smart Relay Zelio Logic can be an opration to overcome clean water pump motor operation system to replace convensional automated system in to PLCbased automated systems. Simulation of the operational of a clean water pump motor in a multi-storey build use PLC software type Schneider Zelio Soft2 type SR2B121BD operate 3 clean water pump motors alternately between the source pump motor and the transfer pump motor, measurement of operating time transfer pump motor 1 with transfer pump motor 2 and the design of the alaram system trip to avoid damage to the motor using alarm rirens. Operating of PLC-based outomatic water pump motor very helpful oprator to operate the clean water pump motorized, where the operation of a clean water pump motor can be changed trought software as needed.

Abstract

Konsumsi energi listrik di Aceh semakin meningkat dari tahun ke tahun.Faktor yang menyebabkan meningkatnya konsumsi energi listrik di Aceh adalah Pertumbuhan Penduduk, dan Ekonomi. Untuk memenuhi akan kebutuhan konsumsi energi listrik yang semakin meningkat dari tahun ke tahun, maka dilakukan perkirakan konsumsi energi listrik jangka panjang selama 10 tahun yaitu pada tahun 2028 di Aceh. Untuk memperkirakan konsumsi energi listrik ini memerlukan sebuah metode yang dapat mendekati hasil aslinya.Metode tersebut yaitu Metode Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System. Hasil yang didapat dalam memperkirakan konsumsi energi listrik pada tahun 2028 di Aceh dengan menggunakan metode ini adalah sebesar 5578,02 GWh atau dengan kenaikan 2,07% setiap tahunnya sampai tahun 2028.

Abstract

Electrical energy is the primary need of the Indonesian people. Most of the electrical energy used comes from fossil energy such as fuel oil, gas, and coal. Fossil fuels themselves can cause environmental damage and include non-renewable energy, so it is necessary to study the potential for power plant development using alternative energy. This study discusses the analysis of the energy potential of natural resources, namely sunlight. Where the energy potential is carried out using 2 methods, namely the Weibull distribution and the Rayleigh distribution. The results showed that the Weibull distribution gave more accurate results than the Rayleigh distribution. It is known from the Mean square error value of the Weibull distribution that it was 6.4% in 2013 and 9.3% in 2014, and from the Rayleigh distribution, it was obtained 9% in 2013 and 18% in 2014.

Abstract

In supporting of production quality improvement, industry must be supported by reliable process system. Reliable measurement system also included in one system which is expected realibility. Specially for saturated steam flow measurement and calculation which is mostly done in the industry in relation to control production cost, should also be able to show accurate results. Now PLC has taken an important role in industry, beside as a control system, PLC also can be used to calculation a formula. This paper aims to use PLC as flow computer to calculate saturatedsteam density by adopting linear regression method which is divided into “n” section to increase the accuration with pressure as a input parameter. The results show a relatively small error value around 0,2% if we compare with standart linear regression method, where the value around 0,9%.

Abstract

PT. PLN (Persero) has been getting prepaid and postpaid electricity program services, but in postpaid electricity programs, human errors often occur when officers read the kwh meter and PLN officials do not go down to residents' homes to record consumer usage due to the co-19 pandemic. In this research, an electrical energy monitoring tool was built using SMS (short massage service) based on the ATMEGA 2560 microcontroller that can measure and monitor the electrical energy consumption in real time using a voltage sensor and current sensor SCT013-030. The results of the current and voltage sensor readings will be forwarded to the ATMEGA 2560 microcontroller to be converted to the amount of electrical energy consumption and the amount of payment in accordance with the rates set by the PLN.

Abstract

The Japanese Bandar Sei River is one of the rivers in Tanjungbalai City with a width of 5.1 km and a width of 6 meters. The river flows into the Asahan River. The river flow can be used as a source of electricity by constructing dams on the river. This is used by the author as a form of studies research. The technique used on this studies is the M.J Mock method to find the value of reliable water discharge and Flow Duration Curva for the probability of water discharge. Based on the findings of the research, the analysis of reliable water discharge calculations obtained from the analysis is 4.93 m3 / second. The potential for water power generated is Theoretical Power: 94 kW, Turbine Power: 130 kW and Generator Power: 116 kW. The average value of evapotranspiration is 150.88 mm.

Abstract

Abstrak Teknologi sel surya merupakan sebuah teknologi yang mengkonversi energi matahari menjadi energi listrik. Penelitian ini membahas tentang radiasi sel surya jenis polycrystalline dengan daya keluaran maksimal 50 WP. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendapatkan pengaruh intensitas cahaya terhadap hasil energi listrik. Metode penelitian yaitu mengukur intensitas matahari dengan menggunakan alat lux meter dan arus listrik yang dihasilkan dari panel surya. Dari hasil pengukuran intensitas matahari selama 4 minggu menggunakan cell 50 Wp pada jam 08.00 WIB rata-rata cuaca cerah. Pukul 08.00 WIB intensitas matahari 398,05 Wp/m, tegangan 16,45 Volt dan arus 0,73 Amper. Semakin cerah matahari dan selama tidak tertutup awan peningkatan intensitas matahari pada puncaknya jam 14.00 WIB intensitasnya 540,18 W/m nilai tegangannya 18,425 Volt dan nilai arusnya 0,81 Amper. Perubahan nilai semakin kecil dimana jam 17.00 WIB intensitasnya 384,75 W/m dan untuk tegangannya 15,7 V dan arus 0,59 A. Hal tersebut dikarenakan pada waktu tersebut rata-rata cuaca sangat cerah, dan matahari tidak tertutup awan.Kata kunci : Optimalisasi, Solar Cell, Radiasi, MatahariAbstract Solar cell technology is a technology that converts solar energy into electrical energy. This study discusses the radiation of polycrystalline solar cells with a maximum output power of 50 WP. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of light intensity on the yield of electrical energy. The research method is measuring the intensity of the sun using a lux meter and electric current generated from solar panels. From the results of measuring the intensity of the sun for 4 weeks using a 50 Wp cell at 08.00 WIB the average weather is sunny. At 08.00 WIB, the intensity of the sun is 398.05 Wp/m, the voltage is 16.45 volts and the current is 0.73 amperes. The brighter the sun and as long as it is not covered by clouds, the increase in the intensity of the sun at its peak at 14.00 WIB has an intensity of 540.18 W/m, the voltage value is 18.425 Volts and the current value is 0.81 Ampere. The change in value is getting smaller at 17.00 WIB the intensity is 384.75 W/m and for the voltage is 15.7 V and the current is 0.59 A. This is because at that time the average weather was very sunny, and the sun was not covered by clouds.Keywords : Optimization, Solar Cell, Radiation, Sun
