Abstract

This paper presents a hybrid method for synthesizing natural animation of facial expression with data from motion capture. The captured expression was transferred from the space of source performance to that of a 3D target face using an accurate mapping process in order to realize the reuse of motion data. The transferred animation was then applied to synthesize the expression of the target model through a framework of two-stage deformation. A local deformation technique preliminarily considered a set of neighbor feature points for every vertex and their impact on the vertex. Furthermore, the global deformation was exploited to ensure the smoothness of the whole facial mesh. The experimental results show our hybrid mesh deformation strategy was effective, which could animate different target face without complicated manual efforts required by most of facial animation approaches. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i3.2039

Abstract

Steganography is data hiding technique in internet. Here we send CAPTCHA codes within a cover image using Image steganography. CAPTCHA are the crazy codes. They are used in human response test. The word is actually an acronym for: "Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart". It is a type of challenge–response test used in computing to determine whether or not the user is a human. Websites implement CAPTCHA codes into their registration processes due to spam. This is the utility of CAPTCHA codes. Here we generate CAPTCHA codes and later send them in an encrypted version. So, actually CAPTCHA codes are embedded into cover image with an encrypted form resulting stego image and thus attackers cannot fetch the actual CAPTCHA resulting in a secured transmission of confidential data using image steganography.

Abstract

The classification technique and data forecasting will probably be one of the techniques that will often be needed in handling or managing big data. So, from that the author analyzes the possible development of the existing algorithms. The purpose is to find possibilities in the use of reliable algorithms in a particular field, then can be adopted and implemented to develop forecasting techniques in the future. Based on these considerations, the authors conducted experiments by applying LVQNN to conduct shortterm forecasting on daily period of the Rupiah exchange rate. The literature that is used as a reference is the discovery of architectural data classification processes that resemble forecasting techniques. So, when there is a combination of Rupiah exchange histories, it is possible to find these combinations into certain classes based on predetermined parameters and historical data combination data and forecast values in the past. In this research the factors chosen as indicators that affect the Rupiah exchange rate are the amount of exports, the amount of imports, the inflation rate and also the world oil price. In this research the highest accuracy value in the testing process for the population reached 99.0991%. The increase in the percentage value of forecasting accuracy is influenced by the composition of the data. In this study the formation of data composition is influenced by distinct data. The selection of parameters which become distinct claused determines how the composition of the data will be formed. If the composition of the data is not correct, the test results will not be good. If the number of weights vector is smaller than the input data, the forecasting accuracy will decrease. Because the weight vector cannot represent data combinations that used during training or testing.

Abstract

A differential charge pump with reduced charge sharing effect is presented. The current-steering topology is adopted for fast switching. A replica charge pump is added to provide a current path for the complementary branch of the master charge pump in the current switching. Through the replica charge pump, the voltage at the complementary node of the master charge pump keeps stable during switching, and the dynamic charge sharing effect is avoided. Apply the charge pump to a 4.8 GHz band integer-N PLL, the measured reference spur is -49.7dBc with a 4-MHz reference frequency. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i2.2983

Abstract

Aiming at the inaccurately modeling and some uncertain existing in servo system seriously affected the control quality and the instability problem, sliding mode control algorithm with improved reaching law is proposed in this paper. The improved reaching law is used to weaken the chattering problem existing in the sliding mode control. Also the kalman filter is used to inhibit the interference, which make the servo system have strong anti-interference ability and the ability of weakening the chattering problem existing in the sliding mode control. The simulation results show that the algorithm can effectively inhibit the external disturbance and noise existing in the system, and make the system have strong anti-interference ability. At the same time, the chattering also is obviously inhibited, and the method makes the system stability and control quality been further improved.  http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i12.4905
