Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji secara empiris mengenai pengaruh informasi laba dan arus kas terhadap return saham serta perbedaan antara pengaruh informasi laba, terhadap return saham perusahaan prospector dengan perusahaan defender. Pengelompokan perusahaan ke dalam prospector dan defender dilakukan menggunakan common factor analysis dengan variabel yaitu: rasio jumlah karyawan terhadap penjualan, price-to-book value, rasio capital expenditure terhadap nilai pasar ekuitas, dan rasio capital expenditure terhadap total aktiva Data dianalisis mengunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pada perusahaan prospektor, laba berpengaruh signifikan dengan return saham. Arus kas operasi berpengaruh signifikan dan berhubunganpositif dengan return saham. Pada perusahaan defender, hanya arus kas pendanaan berpengaruh signifikan dan berhubungan positif dengan return saham.Hasil uji t menunjukkan perbedaan antara pengaruh laba,arus kas operasi, arus kas investasi dan arus kas pendanaan terhadap return saham perusahaan prospektor dan perusahaan defender. Secara umum, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa informasi laba dan arus kas akan lebih superior jika pengguna juga memperhatikan apakah perusahaan merupakan prospektor dan defender.Kata kunci: kandungan informasi, laba, arus kas, prospektor, defender

Abstract

Each of music which has been created, has its own mood which is emitted, therefore, there has been many researches in Music Information Retrieval (MIR) field that has been done for recognition of mood to music.  This research produced software to classify music to the mood by using K-Nearest Neighbor and ID3 algorithm.  In this research accuracy performance comparison and measurement of average classification time is carried out which is obtained based on the value produced from music feature extraction process.  For music feature extraction process it uses 9 types of spectral analysis, consists of 400 practicing data and 400 testing data.  The system produced outcome as classification label of mood type those are contentment, exuberance, depression and anxious.  Classification by using algorithm of KNN is good enough that is 86.55% at k value = 3 and average processing time is 0.01021.  Whereas by using ID3 it results accuracy of 59.33% and average of processing time is 0.05091 second.

Abstract

As technology development increase, human more use robot technology to help in many fields. One of robot technology advances is the flying robot Quadcopter. The quadcopter robot is an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle or UAV that consists of four propellers and four brushless motors that function as actuator. Quadcopter was designed by using KK Board V 2.0 Flight Controller which is a series of motor rotation controller and all at once has Accelerometer censor as acceleration censor and Gyroscop censor as a balance or stability censor. The robot controlling is by using remote control (RC), and GoPro HD Hero2 camera was installed to monitor the condition of the environment. Result of testing is that the quadcopter has maximum load for 4.4 kg and maximum range distance of RC is 100 meters without any barrier and 50 meters with barrier.  In the testing, robot can fly with maximum height for 30 meters from land surface. The robot is equipped with camera, so the quadcopter flying robot can be used to monitor any places that are hard to reach.

Abstract

In the era of information technology vehicle numbers identification needs to be done by system automatically. Therefore, the accuracy of the data is well documented and work porses identification can be done quickly. Motor vehicle license recognition is a recognition system by comparing character feature in license plate with reference feature which exists in database. This system uses chain code method and template matching to extract character feature in license plate’s image. Feature extraction with chain code method will result in an array of direction codes which stored in dynamic array, which stored in dynamic array. In this application test feature will be matched with feature stored in database using dynamic time warping method (DTW) to obtain a distance value between test feature and reference feature, the smaller the distance obtained shows that both the features are more similar. The result of this system is the recognition of each character in license plate’s image. In this study, samples of license plate’s images are tested with the number of research objects. From the study feature extraction is obtained with template matching method provides better success rate compared to feature extraction with chain code method, where the success rate of feature extraction with template matching method is at 78% whereas feature extraction with chain code method is at 68%.DOI:http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/ijece.v4i2.5169

Abstract

People with hearing disabilities are those who are unable to hear, resulted in their disability to communicate using spoken language. The solution offered in this research is by creating a one way translation technology to interpret spoken language to Indonesian sign language system (SIBI). The mechanism applied here is by catching the sentences (audio) spoken by common society to be converted to texts, by using speech recognition. The texts are then processed in text processing to select the input texts. The next stage is stemming the texts into prefixes, basic words, and suffixes. Each words are then being indexed and matched to SIBI. Afterwards, the system will arrange the words into SIBI sentences based on the original sentences, so that the people with hearing disabilities can get the information contained within the spoken language. This technology success rate were tested using Confusion Matrix, which resulted in precision value of 76%, accuracy value of 78%, and recall value of 79%. This technology has been tested in SMP-LB Karya Mulya on the 7th grader students with the total of 9 students. From the test, it is obtained that 86% of students stated that this technology runs very well.

Abstract

Each year thousands of prospective students attend new student enrollment in universities, which each prospective student have determined the courses that wish to be studied in college. Most of prospective student choose the courses only based on the number of enthusiasts and wishes of parents, and are not based on their academic ability. The impact of this phenomenon is that many of the prospective students chosen to switch courses and not a few of them have been punished dropout. This problem can be solved through the creation of decision support system that has an ability to suggest suitable courses to be selected by the prospective student based on their academic ability. This decision support system solved the problem using the method of elimination et choix tranduit la realite which is presented in web-based application to raise the accessibility by the prospective student.

Abstract

Wireless remote device control system is a controlling method which is widely used in various fields. By using wireless communication media, remote control system becomes more efficient and flexible. Computer application is one of the devices which can be used to perform remote controlling. Computer application can be made in accordance with the need of its users in conducting device controlling from the distance. Remote controlling is also can be applied on the robotic field. One of the examples is wireless remote controlling of Quadruped Robot. By utilizing its Windows application such as Visual Basic in order to establish communication with wireless communication module such as Xbee-PRO, a control system can be designed which can be used to control the movement of Quadruped Robot wirelessly. Wireless communication module is also has to be installed and able to perform data communication with the device to be controlled that is Quadruped Robot. The addition of camera which is also using wireless communication system will be very helpful for the users in knowing the condition around Quadruped Robot.

Abstract

In the making process of Balinese gamelan, the tone arrangement highly depends on aligner sense and feeling which generally performed by the gamelan’s craftsman himself. Each aligner has his way of aligning with different standard of tone. Tunings process is still based on the sensitivity of the ear and the feelings of the gamelan craftsmen so that the precision of tone can not be achieved. The unavailable of a standard measuring instruments tone used in the tuning process lead to the production process gamelan in Bali takes a long time. To solve these problems, a study conducted by utilizing information technology in the computer - software engineering approach.Besides, to anticipate the limitation of human resources in the field of alignment and to maintain the consistency of the gamelan’s tone in the long period of time it is in need for the touch of information technology in the form of software. The software to analyze the frequency of gamelan’s base tone in order to get the result of the tone in the strip of gamelan which is measurable and in accordance with the expectation. The software is intended will be able to perform the test tone as desired by the buyer. Thus the tone of the achievements obtained quickly, accurately correspond to the reference tone. Abstract

Script writing art in the lives of Balinese people has a very important function, particularly in terms of writing a sacred script such as writing an inscription on copper plate, bronze, silver, and gold, by using a penknife which required a persistence, patience, skill and experience by itself, since not all Balinese people is able to do this very complicated work.  Considering the difficulty in writing a script on papyrus and the rarity of script writer experts, therefore the researcher gives appreciation on papyrus preservation and conservation. In the present time, sophisticated technology has replaced manual equipments which required a lot of manpower to be operated. Maybe also the inscription writing model with ancient language and writing has been done so many times with computer technology by using the printer as the interface for printing.  In this research the Balinese script printing tools will be designed namely a penknife using robotic technology which mimicking human hand’s motion when writing a script on papyrus. Thought the script tool printer design through robotic technology in order to write a script on palm leaves is an important role of technology as an innovation strategy that is able to create new thinking, new ideas and inovation creative products. Eventually is also expected to satisfy the user as consumer and a new creative market.

Abstract

Computer network traffic is computer activity information in a network which explains interconnection between communication processes. The complexity of network traffic itself depends on the number of communication models used. The utilization of classification analyzing of network incident traffic is one of utilization forms of network traffic. The accuracy of classification model itself depends heavily on the formation of data training. The usage of C4.5 method in the establishment of decision tree in data training toward network incident traffic is with the basis to see the efficiency of decision tree formation. Wireshark tool is used as network capture tool to perform data acquisition in the formation of data training.
