Abstract

This article uses rough set theory for stability evaluation system of strategic alliance at first. Uses data analysis method for reduction, eliminates redundant indexes. Abstract

This paper designed and built a distributed hash table based computing resource sharing platform named OE-P2RSP. By employing Peer-to-Peer services, OE-P2RSP allowed users to submit jobs to be run in the system and to run jobs submitted by other users on any resources available over the Internet, essentially allowing a group of users to form an Ad hoc set of shared resources. OE-P2RSP is based on structured peer on network share, improves the communication mode of system by encapsulated object, object group, and physical proximity principle, and the use of physical proximity principle, and gathers computing resources better in the same research institution or enterprise within local area network. The experimental results obtained via simulations show that the system can reliably execute scientific applications on a widely distributed set of resources with good load balancing and low matchmaking cost and that OE-P2RSP has good efficiency, load balancing and scalability. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i2.2056

Abstract

Based on the grey system theory, the grey relational analysis method is proposed and used in analyzing the influence of various factors on the friction torque of a sliding bearing. On the basis of the grey relational analysis the multidimensional grey model GM(1,N,D) for the friction torque of a sliding bearing is built up. Taking Al-based alloy sliding bearing as an example, the calculation results show that, compared with other influence factors, friction coefficient, load, temperature and rotational speed have more significant influence on the bearing friction torque.Comparingexperimental results and the calculated value of the GM(1,N,D) model based on these important influence factors, the maximum relative residuals is 9.09%, the average relative residuals is 7.9% and the accuracy is 92.1%. It verify that GM(1,N,D) model has good accuracy and is applicable for predicting friction torque of a sliding bearing.

Abstract

The distribution of scheduler from user inquiries in the clouds is complex. In keeping up with the cloud computing environment and the inquirers, the clouds meet with some problematic load balancing complications as an improving load balancing tool induces the rigorous efficiency of the cloud based website’s user access. Overloaded or underloaded conditions originate processing catastrophe regarding the prolonged execution time, bandwidth hog, malfunction, and etc. Besides, to manipulate Erlang concurrent tasks is another skyward situation. Hence, the load balancing is obliged to exhaust all mentioned conditions. The proposed load balancing algorithm for Erlang concurrent tasks (those are and could also be autonomous and unstable.) on VMware workstations is introduced.  There are several load patterns within the clouds corresponding to CPU’s load (utilization), memory load (queue size), link capacity load (bandwidth), and so on. The proposed load balancing is to spot underloaded and overloaded conditions then stabilizes the weight amidst computing nodes. There are countless load balancing approaches in the cloud environment to examine performance parameters. A short outline of corresponding performance metrics in the review and their findings are presented. To investigate the fit efficiency of the proposed algorithm, the simulation is applied then results based on the proposed method are compared to the existing ones. The outcomes settle the weight balancing, outperform others when executing Erlang traffic, and are catered in the context.

Abstract

According to the shortcomings of long time and big errors about the moving plate recognition system, we present the moving plate recognition algorithm based on color extraction and support vector machine. On the basis of the analysis of moving plate recognition system’s basic principles, it introduces the basic principles and calculation steps about color extraction and support vector machine algorithm, and discusses the feasibility of applying the algorithm to PRS in the paper. The experimental results show that the algorithm has the advantages of faster speed and higher accuracy of recognition. Abstract

With the popularity and the rapid development of social networks, microblog has also obtained great attention and gotten wide application. Microblog may produce a large amount of information per second. The real-time search is a critical technology to timely get the latest high-quality information from microblog. A new real-time search framework based on meta-search engine and a query classification algorithm of microblog was put forward. The classification and indexing process is based on the partial indexing mechanism to improve retrieval efficiency. The classification algorithm divides queries into the candidate queries and the popular queries, and takes separate storage strategy. Abstract

In this paper, two Meta-heuristic techniques; namely ant colony optimization (ACO) and genetic algorithm (GA) have been applied for the optimal design of digital and analog filters. Those techniques have been used to solve multimodal optimization problem in infinite impulse response (IIR) filter design and to select the optimal component values from industrial series as well as to minimize the total design error of a 2nd order Sallen-Key active band-pass filter, also a comparison between the performances reached by those two Meta-heuristics was made in this article.

Abstract

A transparent grid array antenna of 28 GHz frequency is presented. The radiating element of the antenna is made of ITO thin film and printed on a glass as the dielectric substrate. The simulation of the antenna executed by using Computer Simulation Technology (CST) Microwave Studio software demonstrated at 28 GHz operating frequency for 5G band applications. This antenna then compared to the rectangular microstrip patch antenna of the same operating frequency. Structural parameters of the proposed antenna were optimized based on parametric studies done.  Grid array antenna gives better performance as it gives 35.7% lower return loss with -43.88 dB, better efficiency and gain with a gain of 7.358 dB, which is more than 40% increases.

Abstract

As a result of the electric vehicles popularity and the development of vehicles intelligent, the number of vehicle sensors surge, meanwhile, many defects of traditional energy supply are increasingly prominent, such as pollution and maintenance difficulties. Taking into account the vehicle vibration exist everywhere, we use the piezoelectric technology to collect vibration energy, and designs a piezoelectric vibration energy harvesting system to be used to solve the energy problem of micro-power sensor. In this paper, the system structure and the theoretical model are analyzed, and the mathematical model of the system vibration frequency and the piezoelectric output have been put forward, then a piezoelectric energy harvesting device is designed on the basis of simulation analysis. Experiments have been done to test the performance of its power generation in the case of resonance. The results showed that the theoretical model proposed in this paper can be a good predictor of the output characteristics of the system. As the resonance frequency is 16.5 Hz, acceleration is 0.5g, the maximum open circuit voltage of the system obtained is 3.5 volts, the optimum load resistance is 425kΩ, and the vibration energy collection device maximum load power is 14 uW. Conclusion: Greater energy could be caught to meet the vehicle sensor power supply needs with the use of super capacitor.

Abstract

A method for networking atmospheric electrostatic field by a quasi-normal charge distribution model based on radar and sounding data in isolated storm cells has been proposed. The charge distribution parameters of thundercloud are first estimated and inversed, and then the network of atmospheric electrostatic field can be calculated with the obtained parameters. The method was used to analyze three isolated thunderstorms that passed through the experiment site in 2009. It was shown that the electrostatic field networking and the charge distribution were concordant with the location of lightning and radar echo. It is revealed that the model and obtained parameters are reasonable to some extent and the method for networking electrostatic field using radar and sounding data is feasible. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i1.1871
