Abstract

Generally the switch mode power supply input voltage source is constant or shows insignificant little varieties.in any case, when fuel call used input source the last assumption is not valid. A fuel cell stack is give a details of low and not controlled DC output voltage, moreover, when the demanded current increases the output voltage becomes low in a nonlinear form; from now on, suitable controller is required to taken the previously mentioned issues. In this article, a normal current-mode controller is planned to using a joined model for an energy unit stack and a boost converter; besides, the resolving control method increasing the system stability and output voltage regulation.. The proposed energy system utilizes an energy component power (polymer electrolyte film fuel cell) and a boost converter passing on power of 900 W. the proposed controller execution for output voltage regulation by means of closed loop gain estimations and step load changes. What's more, a correlation amongst open-and closed- loop estimations is made, where the controller robustness is tried for vast load varieties and fuel cell stack output voltage changes are shows on simulation results.

Abstract

Recently, clustering algorithms combined conventional methods and artificial intelligence. FSC-SOM is designed to handle the problem of SOM, such as defining the number of clusters and initial value of neuron weights. FSC find the number of clusters and the cluster centers which become the parameter of SOM. FSC-SOM is expected to improve the quality of FSC since the determination of the cluster centers are processed twice i.e. searching for data with high density at FSC then updating the cluster centers at SOM. FSC-SOM was tested using 10 datasets that is measured with F-Measure, entropy, Silhouette Index, and Dunn Index. The result showed that FSC-SOM can improve the cluster center of FSC with SOM in order to obtain the better quality of clustering results. The clustering result of FSC-SOM is better than or equal to the clustering result of FSC that proven by the value of external and internal validity measurement.

Abstract

With the continuous development of cloud computing applications, the problems of cloud computing are more and more obvious, such as the lower efficiency of resource search, the lack of network scalability, and some difficulties in management. In this paper, the problems of P2P network and the structural characteristics of the IS-P2P network are studied. On the basis of traditional Chord algorithm, the improvement of the speed of search is made. BiChord: a resource locator and query algorithm based on cloud computing is put forward. The bidirectional routing tables FingerTable and RefingerTable are designed by this algorithm, which adopts the query strategy of bidirectional location of keywords. In addition, the paper also proposes XP query: a message query mechanism based on the structure of the cloud computing. Simulation results show that BiChord has better routing performance than traditional Chord algorithm and the message query mechanism also improves the efficiency of resource queries. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i10.3356

Abstract

The size of the transistor has reached physical processor limitation in particular for traditional bus-based and point-to-point architecture in system-on-chip (SoC). Therefore, network-on-chip (NoC) was proposed as a solution. The performances required for the optimization of the NoC are low network latency, low power consumption, small area, and high throughput. However, recently the size of the NoC architecture has increased and the communication between cores to core become complicated. To overcome this disadvantages, topology plays an important role. In this paper, we reduce the number of the router in the 16 cores and 64 cores ring and mesh topologies by connected more numbers of node in each router. Result shows that reducing the number of the router in 64 cores ring topology outperforms the conventional topologies in term of area, power consumption, latency, and accepted packet rate. Reducing router in 64 cores ring topology decrease the average area, power consumption, latency, and increase the average accepted packet rate by 160.45%, 23.88%, 54.76%, and 223.88% over the 64 cores mesh, reducing router in mesh, ring, and cross-link mesh topologies.

Abstract

Developing a better intrusion detection systems (IDS) has attracted many researchers in the area of computer network for the past decades. In this paper, Genetic Algorithm (GA) is proposed as a tool that capable to identify harmful type of connections in a computer network. Different features of connection data such as duration and types of connection in network were analyzed to generate a set of classification rule. For this project, standard benchmark dataset known as KDD Cup 99 was investigated and utilized to study the effectiveness of the proposed method on this problem domain. The rules comprise of eight variables that were simulated during the training process to detect any malicious connection that can lead to a network intrusion. With good performance in detecting bad connections, this method can be applied in intrusion detection system to identify attack thus improving the security features of a computer network.

Abstract

In this paper Voltage Source Inverter (VSI) is used to supply a variable frequency variable voltage to a three phase induction motor drive in a variable speed application. One important complication is that, Voltage Source Inverter (VSI) used in VFD causes non-sinusoidal output voltage and current due to presence of harmonics. Shunt active filter with VSI topology is proposed for current harmonic elimination. The current control scheme proposed for SAPF is Synchronous Reference Frame theory applied to SVPWM. The reference current can be calculated by using Reference Frame Transformation, reference current are transformed from a−b−c stationary frame to d−q rotating frame. In SVPWM technique, the Active Power Filter reference voltage is generated and desired Active Power Filter output voltage is generated by SVPWM. The analysis of simulation results are carried out in MATLAB/SIMULINK model.

Abstract

The orthogonal space-time coded continuous phase modulation (OST-CPM) system shows attractive performance over fading MIMO channels. In this paper, the Chernoff bound on pair-wise error probability (PWEP) is studied for two transmit antennas over spatially correlated quasi-static Rayleigh-fading channel. The maximum likelihood sequence detection (MLSD) algorithm is applied to the OST-CPM system. Approximate bound for high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is derived to evaluate the encoding performance in correlated channel. The effects of correlation coefficient matrices on the coding performance are simulated. Both analytical and simulation results show that the coding performance of this system decreases as the fading coefficients between the antennas increases. And the penalty on the coding performance increases a lot in fully correlated channel. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i5.2469
