Abstract

Professional tennis athletes should be able to master all the basic techniques of playing tennis and having physical fitness. Therefore, it is necessary to get an exercise that can give meaning to the skills and physical fitness. One of the proper exercises is with aerobic exercise combined with the technique.Aerobic exercise program combined with techniques is: (1) a number of players consisting of six to seven people with backward sequential formation techniques performing forehand and backhand groundstrokes served by the trainers, (2) coaches pass eight balls toward the forehand, backhand, forehand, backhand in sequence, (3) after the player completes an eight stroke strike then runs around the tennis court and while collecting the ball that has been hit, ( 4) the next player gets back to its previous position and ready for the next shot, (5) perform with three times frequency of exercise a week, (6) perform with the exercise intensity between 75% - 85% of maximum heart rate, (7) perform for 25 minutes per meeting, (8) the time interval is 24-48 hours, and (9) the periodization on stages of early preparation.Aerobic exercise combination with a technique given by a measurement, regularly and programmed can help improving physical fitness and skills of forehand and backhand groundstrokes for tennis athletes. Backhand skills may be changed naturally better than forehand techniques, so that it is given the same portion of exercise that will increase differently. Keyword: aerobic exercise, groundstroke techniques, tennis

Abstract

This study aims to increase the concentration of athletes at the start in swimming . The method in this study using action research  methods with training hypnotherapy . The subjects were 7 people swimming club coach coaches athletes as members of the PAB Pool DIY hypnotherapy to apply the method , and  the object of study is the BAO 25 athletes Pool DIY in 2010-2011 were subjected to hypnotherapy training model .Means of collecting data using instruments Grid Concentration Exercise to determine the level of concentration and test and measurement instruments to determine the ability of the swim start . The data  analysis technique used in this study is a descriptive analysis of the percentage .Based on the results of the reflection and discussion of action  research  above , it can be concluded  that  the method of  hypnotherapy can  increase the concentration of the athlete at the time of the start . In the first cycle , it is seen that the concentration of athletes is still low. In the second cycle of the general process of hypnotherapy can increase even though the increase  in the concentration of each individual is highly dependent on the tranquility of the sunounding environment readiness and suggestions athletes expected. Keywords : hypnotherapy , concentration , start in swimming

Abstract

Performance in sports is something that is coveted by an athlete and coach. Sporting achievements obtained with a business is not easy. Science support is widely used in the implementation practice training process, in order to achieve performance in sports. Disciplines that support the achievement as sports medicine, sports biomechanics, sport psychology, sport pedagogy, sport sociology, sport history, sport philosophy. Abstract

This research aims to find out: (1) Difference between the effect of plyometrics and weight  training program on increased kime karate athlete in playing kata, (2) the difference of increased kime karate athlete in playing kata between the athletes with high, medium and low leg muscle strength, (3) the interaction effect between training program with leg muscle strength on increased kime karate athlete in playing kata.This research employed an experimental method with 2 x 3 factorial design. The population of the research in the study were the karate athletes in the Student Activity Unit Karate INKAI of Yogyakarta State University. The sampling technique was purposive random sampling. ANOVA was used to analyzing data, the data analysis prerequisite test was done using the sample normality test (Lilliefors test with a = 0.05%) and variance homogeneity test (Bartlett test with a = 0.05%).Based on the result of the analysis, conclusions are drawn as follows: (1) There was difference between the effect of plyometrics and weight training program on increased kime karate athlete in playing kata.The effect of weight training program is better than the plyometric training program, (2) there was difference of increased kime karate athlete in playing kata between the athletes with high, medium and low leg muscle strength. The effect of increased kime karate athlete in playing kata between the athletes with low leg muscle strength this better than the one with high leg muscle strength, the athletes with high leg muscle strength is better than the one with medium leg muscle 17 strength, (3) there was interaction effect between training program with leg muscle strength on increased kime karate athlete in playing kata. The athletes with low leg muscle strength has according if it is weight training program. The athletes with medium leg muscle strength has according if it is plyometric training program. Abstract

Purpose of this study to identify patterns of stroke rate (SR) and stroke length (SL) freestyle swimmer Indonesian student participants popnas 2009.Subjectsdrawn from participants weekend sports student athletes nationwide pool of 2009 branches in Yogyakarta Special Region.The data retrieval performed 1 time for 4 days, namely in the afternoon during the final numbers, the first step taken pictures of each swimmer's time following the final number and then calculated the number of stokes rate and velocity.Results indicate that the length of sl in both female athletes and men in the freestyle show curve and the same pattern, namely the shorter distances shorter renangan sl and the further distance the longer renangan sl but with different figures, the number of sr freestyle results shows the range 19.98 to male athletes and female athletes at 23:31. results from this study suggest that the number and length sl sr in the freestyle with different distances and curve have the same pattern. Key words: stroke rate (SR) and stroke length (SL)

Abstract

Increased age resulted in a decline in the ability of a person physically and physiologically . Someone quickly look old or younger seem fast or slow depending on the physical condition and mental deterioration . The decrease in the ability to take place sooner or later all influenced by physical activity performed.The decrease in functional capacity of the human body organs one due to declining cardiorespiratory endurance as a result of reduced cardiac function and lung is a vital organ to drive the entire system is contained within the human body .Physical activity ( exercise ) greatly affect the maintenance of the capacity of the organs physiology (function ) of the body . By doing regular exercise will result in (1). Increasing the size of the heart , (2)  The reduced pulse rate, (3) . Increased stroke volume ( stroke volume ), (4) . Increased blood volume and hemoglobin , (5) . Changes in capillary density and muscle hypertrophy . While changes in the reputation system are: ( 1 ) . Abstract

This study aims to create a Physical Condition Standards Status Individuals KONI Sports Athletes BranchYogyakarta.This research is a descriptive study with the percentage of test and measurement techniques in data collectionThe population is Puslatda Pre PON DIY athlete in 2010-2011 Phase I and II totaling 142 people . The technique of sampling with purposive sampling is sampling technique with specific criteria or considerations . Criteria samples used in this study are : ( 1 ) athletes entered in the KONI Puslatda DIY individual sports athletes , ( 2 ) follow the good health and physical test phase 1 and phase 2 , ( 3 ) the condition was not injured athletes. Research instrument using test and measurement program Prima KONI Physical Test Center. Analysis of the data in the study is descriptive statistics by finding the scale scores , cumulative frequency and preparation of raw scores using the mean and standard deviations.The results of this study are composed of raw scores of athletes Puslatda Pre PON KONI DIY as follows: ( 1 ) VO 2 max . male and female athletes ; ( 2 ) Push Up athletes male and female , (3 ) Sit Up athletes boys and girls ; ( 4 ) The rate of reaction ( audio and visual ) male and female athletes : ( 5 ) Agility  athletes son and daughter ; ( 6 ) male and female athletes flexibility , and ( 7 ) The balance of male and female athletes ; ( 8 ) The strength of the back muscles male and female athletes ; ( 9 ) leg muscle strength 49 of male and female athletes ; ( 10 ) The strength of the right and left hand squeezing athletes sons and daughters ; (11 ) The strength of the back muscles male and female athletes ; ( 12 ) Expanding strength athletes sons and daughters ; ( 13 ) lung volumes and athletes son and daughter ( 14 ) Power leg male and female athletes . Keywords Status , Physical Condition, Athletes

Abstract

Once the child is expected to participate in this competition have higher motivation in playing and practicing during the competition, knowledge of the rules of the game, a lot of experience because of the frequency of matches, and a happy atmosphere, will eventually be able to improve their skills in playing football, especially in preparing for national championship .Maximum achievement that can be obtained with an ideal competition means a lot of competition is not done in a very short period of time from the preliminary round to the finals. A competition by changing the rules that are pertadingan enjoy a much needed children. Not only that but extrinsic motivation needed to keep children happy and not bored of the game of football. Keywords: football, competition, early childhood

Abstract

Lesson study conducted by a team of custodian I teaching courses of Nikken UNY football aims to repair and improve the quality of learning advanced soccer skills courses, so it is expected to achieve competence. Learning through cooperative learning is implemented through football competition in advanced soccer skills course. Formation of the value of discipline, caring and fair play can be embedded to the students so that it becomes something usual behavior everyday and into the character of students.
