Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh physical fitness programme terhadap maximum oxygen uptake (VO2 max) mahasiswa IKORA FIK UNY. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain the one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa IKORA angkatan 2010. Sampel dalam penelitian ini melibatkan seluruh mahasiswa prodi IKORA FIK UNY angkatan 2010 yang mengambil konsentrasi keahlian kebugaran. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah menggunakan tes lari 15 menit dengan metode balke. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 11,261 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000. Oleh karena nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05 (p<0,05), maka dapat disimpulkan ada perbedaan yang signifikan VO2 Max mahasiswa saat pre test dan post test. Hasil ini dapat diartikan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara physical fitness programme terhadap maximum oxygen uptake (VO2 max) mahasiswa IKORA FIK UNY. This research aims at investigating the effect of physical fitness programme towards maxi-mum oxygen uptake (VO2 max) of students of Sport Science Study Program Faculty of Sport Science Yogyakarta State University. This study used an experimental method with one-group pretest-posttest design. The study population was class of 2010 Sport Science Study Program (Ikora) students. The samples in this study involved the entire students of Ikora class of 2010 who took the concentration of fitness expertise. The instrument used is a 15-minute test run using the balke method. The data analysis technique used normality test, homogeneity test and T-test. Based on the analysis results obtained, the t value is 11.261 with a significance value of 0.000. Because the significant value of 0.000 is less than 0.05 (p <0.05), it can be concluded that there are significant differences in VO2 Max of the students when in pre-test and post-test. These results imply that there is a significant relationship between physical fitness program to the maximum oxygen uptake (VO2 max) of Ikora stu-dents in Faculty of Sport Science YSU.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence the body building exercise program to increase muscle mass (chest, arms, thighs, and calves) FIK IKORA UNY students class of 2009. This study uses a quasi-experimental design with the one-group pretest-posttest design. The study population was IKORA student class of 2009. The sample in this study involves the entire student Prodi IKORA FIK UNY class of 2009 who took the course in the concentration of Weight Training II. The instrument used is to use a tape measure to measure centimeter meter. Analysis using normality test to determine whether the distribution of data has a normal distribution. Variant test to test the homogeneity of variance of the data similarity experimental group. T-test to determine whether there are differences in the variables between pretest and posttest in the experimental group. Results of the analysis showed that {t | t <- 2.160 or t> 2.160} with a significance level of p = 0.000 <0.05. So it can be demonstrated that significant research hypothesis: (1) body building training program can increase muscle mass chest with t test results {t = - 5.486 or 5.486}, (2) body building training program can increase muscle mass arm with the t test {t = - 7.431 or 7.431}, (3) body building exercise program can increase thigh muscle mass with the t test {t = - 2.403 or 2.403}, and (4) body building training program can increase muscle mass calf with the results of t test {t = - 2.834 or 2.834}.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the comparasion between the students learning result taught by using cooperative learning based on quantum learning and active learning. The first experimental class was taught by using quantum learning model and the second class was taught by using active learning model. Both of quantum learning and active learning models are learning models that can trigger students to be active in teaching and learning process. The research design used was pre-test post-test group design and the sampling technique was purposive random sampling. The result of the last stage showed that the average of learning result of first experimental class was 75.71, whereas the second experimental class was 74.61. In collecting data, I used test, observation, and documentasion. The result of data analysis showed that quantum learning and active learning influence the chemistry student learning outcomes and quantum learning was not better than active learning.

Abstract

Professional tennis athletes should be able to master all the basic techniques of playing tennis and having physical fitness. Therefore, it is necessary to get an exercise that can give meaning to the skills and physical fitness. One of the proper exercises is with aerobic exercise combined with the technique.Aerobic exercise program combined with techniques is: (1) a number of players consisting of six to seven people with backward sequential formation techniques performing forehand and backhand groundstrokes served by the trainers, (2) coaches pass eight balls toward the forehand, backhand, forehand, backhand in sequence, (3) after the player completes an eight stroke strike then runs around the tennis court and while collecting the ball that has been hit, ( 4) the next player gets back to its previous position and ready for the next shot, (5) perform with three times frequency of exercise a week, (6) perform with the exercise intensity between 75% - 85% of maximum heart rate, (7) perform for 25 minutes per meeting, (8) the time interval is 24-48 hours, and (9) the periodization on stages of early preparation.Aerobic exercise combination with a technique given by a measurement, regularly and programmed can help improving physical fitness and skills of forehand and backhand groundstrokes for tennis athletes. Backhand skills may be changed naturally better than forehand techniques, so that it is given the same portion of exercise that will increase differently. Keyword: aerobic exercise, groundstroke techniques, tennis

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi atlet yang memiliki bakat pada cabang olahraga panahan di Kabupaten Sleman pada usia 7-12 tahun tahun. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan tes dan pengukuran. Populasi penelitian ini melibatkan seluruh atlet panahan usia 7-12 tahun di wilayah Kabupaten Sleman. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 40 anak. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan tes antropometri, tes kemampuan fisik, dan tes kemampuan ketrampilan panahan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan atlet panahan di Kabupaten Sleman dalam kategori sangat berbakat sebanyak 5 anak (12,5%), berbakat sebanyak 24 anak (60%), dan cukup berbakat sebanyak 11 anak (27,5%).This study aims to determine the potential of athletes who have talent in archery in Sleman Regency at the age of 7-12 years. It is descriprive quantitative research with survey methods and data were collected through tests and measurements. The population of this study involved all archery athletes at the age of 7-12 years in the Sleman Regency. The sample used in this study was 40 children. The data collection techniques used were anthropometric tests, physical ability tests, and archery skill tests.The data were analysed descriptive qualtitatively using precentages. The results show that there were 5 children (12.5%) categorized as very talented, 24 children (60%) as talented, and 11 children (27.5%) as satisfactorily talented. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh latihan circuitweight training terhadap kekuatan dan daya tahan otot.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain the one grouppretest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa IKORA angkatan 2009.Sampel dalam penelitian ini melibatkan seluruh mahasiswa prodi IKORA FIK UNYangkatan 2009 yang mengambil matakuliah konsentrasi Latihan Beban. Instrumen yangdigunakan adalah menggunakan alat ukur berupa leg & back dynamometer untukmengukur kekuatan otot tungkai, hand grip dynamometer untuk mengukur kekuatanotot tangan (menggenggam), dan pull and push dynamometer untuk mengukur kekuatanotot tangan (menarik dan mendorong). Sedangkan untuk mengetahui daya tahan ototdengan melakukan tes push up, sit up dan pull up. Teknik analisis data menggunakanuji t untuk mengetahui perbedaan variabel antara pretest dan posttest pada kelompokeksperimen.Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa {t | t < - 2,160 atau t > 2,160}dengan taraf signifikansi p=0,000 < 0,05. Jadi dapat dibuktikan hipotesis penelitiansecara signifikan yaitu: (1) Latihan circuit weight training memberikan pengaruh yangsignifikan terhadap peningkatan kekuatan otot tungkai dengan hasil t test {t = - 4,561atau 4,561}, (2) Latihan circuit weight training tidak dapat memberikan pengaruh yangsignifikan terhadap peningkatan kekukatan otot tangan (menggenggam) dengan hasil ttest adalah {t = - 1,539 atau 1,539}, (3) Latihan circuit weight training memberikanpengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kekuatan otot tangan (menarik) denganhasil t test {t = - 4,040 atau 4,040}, (4) Latihan circuit weight training memberikanpengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kekuatan otot tangan (mendorong)dengan t test {t = - 3,998 atau 3,998}, (5) Latihan circuit weight training memberikanpengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan daya tahan otot tubuh bagian atasdengan hasil t test {t = - 4,575 atau 4,575}, (6) Latihan circuit weight trainingmemberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan daya tahan otot perut t test{t = - 7,590 atau 7,590}, dan (7) Latihan circuit weight training memberikan pengaruhyang signifikan terhadap peningkatan daya tahan otot lengan dan bahu t test {t = - 3,782atau 3,782}. Abstract

Lembah Fitness Centre UGM juga perlu melakukan pengelolaan dan menerapkan strategi pemasaran yang baik agar members dapat merasakan kepuasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan members terhadap strategi pemasaran di Lembah Fitness Centre Universitas Gajah Mada. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah members Lembah Fitness Centre UGM yang aktif mengikuti latihan beban sebanyak 240 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan metode nonprobability sampling menggunakan teknik accidental sampling, sebanyak 120 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket atau kuesioner. Angket tersebut diujicobakan terhadap 40 members  Lembah Fitness Centre UGM. Hasil ujicoba menunjukkan dari 48 butir pernyataan gugur 3 butir, sahih 45 butir. Teknik untuk mengukur validitas menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment dari Karl Pearson dengan taraf signifikasi 5 % atau a = 0,05. Butir pernyataan dikatakan valid apabila nilai korelasi dari product moment (rxy) lebih besar dari r-tabel. Nilai koefisien alpha (rtt) yang diperoleh sebesar 0,912 dengan status reliabel. Teknik analisis data penelitian menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara umum tingkat kepuasan members masuk ke dalam kategori memuaskan dengan pencapaian persentase 60,8 %. Secara rinci, tingkat kepuasan members terhadap strategi pemasaran di Lembah Fitness Centre UGM dijelaskan sebagai berikut: (1) Price atau harga masuk kedalam kategori sangat memuaskan dengan persentase 60 %, (2) Promotion atau promosi masuk kedalam kategori memuaskan dengan persentase 55 %, (3) Place atau tempat masuk kedalam kategori memuaskan dengan persentase 49,2 %, (4) Product atau produk/jasa masuk kedalam kategori memuaskan dengan persentase sebesar 55,8 %.  MEMBERS SATISFACTION LEVEL TOWARD MARKETING STRATEGY IN LEMBAH FITNESS CENTER UNIVERSITAS NEGERI GAJAH MADA AbstractFitness center companies must manage fitness club well. In process, club must be applied  marketing strategy, same as Lembah Fitness Center UGM where need to be manage and use marketing streategy so that members satisfied with their services. This study aims to know about level of satisfaction members toward marketing strategy in Lembah Fitness center Universitas Negeri Gajah Mada. Participants in this study are members of Lembah Fitness Center UGM that enganged actively in resistance training for almost 240 people. Sampling technique using nonprobability method include accidental sampling method, 120 people. Questionnaire used as instrument in this study. This questionnaire being trial into 40 members, then the result showed only 45 questions from 48 which have validity based on product moment correlation technique (Karl Pearson) with significance level a = 0,05. Validity of each question attained if its have correlation value from product moment (rxy)  more than r-tabel. Data analysis using quantitative descriptive analysis with precentage. The results of this study indicate that the level of satisfaction members toward marketing strategy at the UGM Fitness Center resulted in satisfactory category with a percentage of 60.8%. In detail, the level of satisfaction of members of the marketing strategy at the Lembah Fitness Center UGM is through the following factors: (1) Price belong to very satisfying category with a percentage of 60%, (2) Promotion percentage reach 55 %, (3) Place percentage is 49.2%, and (4) Product achieve 55.8%.
