Abstract

The Effect of Empowerment of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) on Economic Development in Deli Tua District, Deliserdang Regency (By: Netarius Ndruru) (Supervisors: Dr. Mananda Situmorang, Drs., M.Si and Nurul Dalimunte, S.Sos., M. Si). This study aims to determine how much influence the empowerment of MSMEs has on economic development in Deli Tua District and to determine the extent to which MSME empowerment is carried out in supporting economic development in Deli Tua District. The research method used in this thesis is a quantitative method. The data collection techniques include primary data collection, namely the method of observation, interviews and questionnaires. Then with secondary data collection techniques, namely the library and field studies. To determine the effect of empowering micro, small and medium enterprises on economic development in Deli Tua District, the author uses the product moment correlation coefficient formula. Meanwhile, to test the significant level between the independent variable and the dependent variable, in this case the author uses the t test formula. The results showed that the effect of empowering micro, small and medium enterprises on economic development in Deli Tua District had a strong effect, with a value of r_xy = 0.687. Meanwhile, from the results of the significant level test, it is concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between the empowerment of micro, small and medium enterprises on economic development, with a value of t = 7.389.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of electronic word of mouth, experiential marketing, and brand ambassador variables on purchasing decisions on the Tokopedia application in the West Cikarang region. This sampling technique uses the Lemeshow formula and obtained as many as 300 respondents. The data obtained were analyzed quantitatively by using measuring instruments in the form of validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, simple and multiple linear regression analysis tests, and hypothesis testing. The test was conducted to determine the effective and relative contribution by using the SPSS version 21 application program for windows. The results of partial statistical analysis show that electronic word of mouth, experiential marketing, and brand ambassadors have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions on the Tokopedia application. The results of statistical analysis simultaneously show that electronic word of mouth, experiential marketing, and brand ambassadors have a significant effect on purchasing decisions on the Tokopedia application simultaneously. The results of the R Square value of electronic word of mouth showed a value of 48.4%, experiential marketing showed a value of 67.0%, and brand ambassadors showed a value of 66.0% which means that there is an influence on purchasing decisions on the Tokopedia application in the West Cikarang region.

Abstract

This paper is a concept of business and information technology (IT) training in facing the progress of transformation of communication for college students in Management Computer Informatics (MCI) Royal Kisaran, Asahan Regency. Through this program, it is expected that they knew the importance of business in legal concept based on the improvement of IT. The method used is experiential learning method and the concept of literature study about business and IT. The delivery in the form of lectures, group discussions, games so that people can participate actively through the Focus Group Discussion (FGD). In the training presented the material: Concept of information technology (IT) training in facing the progress of transformation of communication. After the FGD are conducted, it is found that the participants are quite responsive and enthusiastic in following the training materials, as evidenced, there are many questions asked by the participants. By improving their knowledge and IT are quite good then they are going to improve the real fact through academic assistance with the motivation

Abstract

This study is a research conducted to determine the effect of financial literacy and quality of accounting information on investment interest mediated by cryptocurrencies in Accounting Study Program students, FEB UMSU. This study uses a quantitative approach with primary data sources obtained from the distribution of questionnaires. The sampling technique in this study is using the slovin technique, with the number of objects being 100 respondents. The analysis carried out in this study includes path analysis using the PLS application. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that Financial Literacy has an effect on Cryptocurrency in Accounting Study Program students FEB UMSU, Quality of Accounting Information affects Cryptocurrency in Accounting Study Program students FEB UMSU, Financial Literacy affects Investment Interest in Accounting Study Program students FEB UMSU, Quality of Accounting Information affects Interest Investment in Accounting Study Program FEB UMSU Students, Cryptocurrency does not intervene in the influence of Financial Literacy on Investment Interest in Accounting Study Program students FEB UMSU and Cryptocurrency intervenes in the influence of Accounting Information Quality on Investment Interest in Accounting Study Program students FEB UMSU.

Abstract

This study aimed to assess PT. Garuda Indonesia Tbk's potential for financial distress during and after the covid-19 pandemic. This research employed descriptive quantitative type; it described the potential for financial distress at PT. Garuda Indonesia Tbk. Secondary data were utilised, namely the financial statements of PT. Garuda Indonesia Tbk for the years 2018-2021. Data collection approaches involving documentation and literature study. The data analysis method utilised descriptive analysis with the research variable of financial distress. This study's five models used to measurement financial distress were Z-Score Altman, Springate, Grover, Ohlson, and Zmijweski. The findings indicate that PT. Garuda Indonesia Tbk is in a condition of financial distress or has the potential to declare bankruptcy between 2018 and 2021, which determined using the Z-Score Altman, Springate, Grover, Ohlson, and Zmijweski methods.

Abstract

In a business world that is developing towards consumer centricity, customer satisfaction is a very strategic matter and is a major consideration. Because this affects the future sustainability of a company. Not only cultivating profits, maintaining consumers is an absolute thing to manage a good relationship with the company. The amount of competition among housing developers requires developers to focus more on providing competitive advantages in providing services to their housing consumers. Market research in the property business, customer satisfaction is very important and crucial to be able to find out the extent of consumer satisfaction in housing and the property business. This study aims to measure consumer satisfaction as residents of subsidized housing built in 2017. These consumers are in 2 (two) Subsidized housing locations in Payakumbuh City, based on 4 (four) factors namely location, Building Quality, facilities and infrastructure, and utilities. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and the survey method used in data collection was by distributing questionnaires directly to respondents. The results showed that residents were satisfied with the variable quality of buildings, facilities and infrastructure. However, the results of the analysis of location and utility show differences in satisfaction.

Abstract

COVID-19 has an impact on SMEs. Therefore BNI is making efforts to save credit.in.the.form of credit restructuring.for.debtors who are caused by COVID-19. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of restructuring, nominal loan size, and the business industry sector on the Quality of MSME Debtor Loan Assets in West Sumatra Province, Riau Province and Riau Islands Province. this research is quantitative.research with the object of research namely PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. the.sample in.this.study was 210 indicators taken using a purposive sampling technique. The collected data is then analyzed statistically with.SPSS. The results of this.study shows that the Provision of Restructuring has a significant effect on the Quality of Debtor Assets at PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero). Then, the Industrial Sector partially has a significant effect on the Quality of Debtor Assets at PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. The nominal loan partially has a significant.effect.on the quality.of theldebtor's assets at PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Gender moderates the relationship between Restructuring Grants and Debtor Asset Quality at PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk RegionallOffice 02. However, gender partially does notlsignificantlylmoderate the relationship between the Industrial Sector and Debtor Asset Quality at PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to find out whether Work Discipline, Motivation and compensation have a partial effect on employees performance at the Employment and Human Resources Development Agency of Buru Regency, Maluku Province, the research method used is causal associative analysis method with quantitative techniques. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The population in this study amounted to 54 people who were all ASN at the Employment and Human Resources Development Agency, Buru Regency, Maluku Province. The sampling method used is saturated or census sampling. The results of this study indicates that Work Discipline, Motivation and compensation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect. The regression transformation coefficient X1 or for the discipline variables is 0.243 with a significance number of 0.026, this value is smaller than α = 5% (0.026 <0.05) and the t- count > t- table value is 2.287 > 1.67356. The coefficient value is positive and partially has a significant effect on work performance (Y). The regression transformation coefficient X2 or for the motivational variables is 0.309 with a significance number of 0.006, this value is smaller than α = 5% (0.006 <0.05) and the value of t- count > t- table is 2.857 > 1.67356. The coefficient value positive and partially has a significant effect on work performance (Y). The regression transformation coefficient X3 or for the compensation variables is 0.267 with a significance number of 0.010, this value is smaller than α = 5% (0.010 <0.05) and the value of t- count > t- table is 2.672 > 1.67356. The coefficient value positive and partially significant effect on work performance (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to thoroughly examine the factors that influence investment decisions in the capital market, especially investors who invest in PT. Phillip Sekuritas Indonesia Ambon Branch. Data was collected using a google form-based questionnaire instrument involving 60 investor respondents who actively invest in PT. Phillip Sekuritas Indonesia Ambon Branch. Data is processed and analyzed using the SmartPLS 3.0 software application. The results of this study indicate that (1) the risk perception variable directly has a significant effect on investment decisions in the capital market; (2) the self-efficacy variable has a significant effect on investors' investment decision variables in the capital market. The existence of this research will have implications for the level of knowledge and awareness of the level of investment risk and self-efficacy owned by an investor, so that decisions can be made more effectively, considering that some investment products are high risk. This research offers an empirical model that explains the factors that influence investment decisions in the capital market by using a research model that combines psychological and demographic factors in making investment decisions in the capital market, so this research is important to do in order to add contribution and dedication to the literature review.

Abstract

The Banking industry plays an important role in the economic field. Banks helps circulating money from and to the people. However, because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the ability of Banks to maintain a stable economy has been tested vigorously. This study aims to find whether BUKU III Banks experienced a difference in their financial performance. This study set up several criteria for its samples and the Banks that meets that criteria are OCBC NISP, BTPN, Permata, Maybank, BTN, Mayapada, Mega, BJB, and Bukopin. This study uses RGEC Method which consists of four indicators, Risk Profile which is proxied by NPL, Good Corporate Governance, Earning, which is proxied by ROE, and Capital which is proxied by CAR. On top of RGEC Analysis, Difference Test was also used to determine whether there was a significant difference in BUKU III Banks’ financial performance. This study uses SPSS 25 to process data. The data used in this research is a secondary data obtained from financial statements on the IDX and respective Banks’ website. The result of this research shows that Risk Profile, proxied by NPL ratio, did not experienced a significant difference in performance. Good Corporate Governance also did not experience a significant difference in performance. Earning, proxied by ROE, did not showed a significant difference in performance. Lastly, Capital, proxied by CAR, showed significant difference in performance.
