Abstract

The study aims to analyze the factors that influence parents' intentions in choosing private schools for their children in and around Jakarta. The research method used is quantitative, with surveys conducted through the distribution of online questionnaires. The factors analyzed included spiritual value, quality, reputation, social media marketing, emotional value, and word of mouth. The results of a study with 180 respondents using PLS-SEM showed that all these factors had a significant influence on parents' intentions to enroll their children in private schools. Based on IPMA analysis, emotional value factors have the strongest influence, followed by reputation, social media marketing, word of mouth, spiritual value, and quality. The managerial implications of this study emphasize the importance of focusing on activities that enhance positive emotions, strengthening reputation, quality of service, and effective marketing strategies. The research has made important contributions to understanding the factors that influence parents' intentions in choosing private schools, as well as providing insights for private schools to focus on these factors in order to increase parents' interest in selecting their schools

Abstract

Financial theory assumes that investors are rational individuals. However, several empirical studies show that investors tend to act contrary to financial theory and cannot be explained in models based on investor rationality. How does investor behavior in making investment decisions relate to evaluating portfolio performance? This study applies mixed methods to prove portfolio performance evaluation through optimal portfolio formation and reveals its usefulness in making investment decisions. This study uses a single index model approach to evaluate portfolio performance and a structured interview method. The study sample is companies listed on the IDXHIDIV20 Index for the 2021 to 2023 period and investment manager as informants. These results prove that stock prices fluctuate in the same direction as the market index and each security has a different level of return and risk. Even though investors evaluate portfolio performance, excessive optimism, as a psychological factor, tends to control investor behavior in the investment decision making process. The research results support the behavioral financial theory that investors tend to act irrationally, because the decisions taken are not completely based on rational considerations but are also influenced by various kinds of biases that have an impact on investors' actions. However, investors' actions are seen as something normal. The results of the study contribute to the financial field to drive the efficiency of resource allocation and provide signals that reflect the value of the company

Abstract

olar power has become one of the most potential resources in generating clean and sustainable electricity. In the last few decades, solar power technology has developed rapidly, especially in the field of solar panels. Solar panels use semiconductor materials such as silicon to convert sunlight radiation into electricity. On-grid solar power systems have become popular because they generate electricity while remaining parallel Syncron with PLN's power plants. This article discusses the economic analysis of installing solar roof panels in the PT GRAND Building Complex INDONESIA, on-grid solar power system design methodology, including building structure calculations, the area required for installing solar panels, solar panel sizes, sending controller settings, and inverter settings. investment that needs to be made and how many years will the capital be returned or Return Of Investment (ROI), Also describes the types of solar panels, namely monocrystalline, polycrystalline, and thin film solar cells (TFSC), as well as their advantages and disadvantages, The results of this study can provide a complete picture of how much profit is in installing solar roof panels, and modern solar power technology and its implementation on a large scale. Thus, this article is expected to contribute to scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders in the development and implementation of more effective and efficient solar power systems
