Abstract

Along with the times, the media for socializing is very diverse. The presence of social media at this time merges one's privacy space with the public. Today's community activities are also inseparable from social media. Online social media that is used as a means of social interaction online on the Internet. By using social media, its users can communicate with each other, interact, share, and various other activities. Of the many social media used today, one of the social media that is quite widely used is Instagram. Instagram itself is a social media platform that was founded on October 6, 2010. Instagram is a social media platform for applying digital filters and a place to upload and share photos with other users, but not infrequently Instagram is also one of the media to promote a product to the public. This is what makes the author want to examine the level of user satisfaction in North Penajam Paser Regency. raised a research entitled “Satisfaction Analysis of Social Media Use. The method in this study uses the Use Questionnaire method which has variables of Usefulness (usability), Ease of Use (ease of use), Ease of Learning (ease of learning), Satisfaction (satisfaction). This research uses quantitative descriptive research, which is based on the use of data in the form of numbers as an analysis tool and data acquisition through questionnaires in the field to 100 respondents. The results of this study note that the Usefulness Aspect scores 79.53%, the Ease of use aspect scores 82.42%, the Ease of learning aspect scores 83.70%, the Satisfaction Aspect scores 79.80%, and the final measurement results usability score percentage is 81.21%.

Abstract

Internet users in Indonesia have used e-commerce services to buy various products. For example, one website that provides information services about women's beauty products is Female Daily. On the website, there are reviews of beauty products. The review feature is one feature that helps users in determining which beauty products to buy. Unfortunately, many reviews will take a long time to read, and it is almost impossible for users to read all the information. Therefore, research is needed to make it easier for users to consider products such as sentiment analysis. Sentiment analysis aims to classify opinions, namely, user reviews, into positive, neutral, and negative opinions. In this study, sentiment analysis uses the Modified Balanced Random Forest(MBRF) and Chi-square method as feature selection. The best model from this study produces an average accuracy and an average f1-score of 81.75% and 71.90%, respectively.

Abstract

The high number of Covid-19 patients in 2021 has an impact on the tourism sector. It changes the trend towards tourism in Indonesia. Apart from the health protocols that must be carried out, the role of technology is also important in overcoming the growth of Covid-19. The technology provided is in the form of an application to purchase tourist entrance tickets, but it does not yet provide the menu for tourist restriction and zone identification. The purpose of this research is to develop an information system that can limit the number of tourists and find out the red zone (the highest Covid-19 area) before making a tourist visit. The method used for the development of a tourist visitor information system is the Agile model. This model is carried out systematically and starts from collecting information with interview and observation techniques, needs analysis, system design, design, and the implementation using an object-oriented diagram approach. This model has complex capabilities, is reliable, and produces applications in a short time. The testing of the tourist restriction system uses black box testing. The goal is to find out the error when the system is used by end users. Test results on all features in the system according to the needs of the end user. The application built can be used in line with the government rules or policies. With this application, the tourists are expected to be able to have vacation without the risk of spreading Covid-19.

Abstract

Health services at traditional medicine clinics have problems, namely the absence of an online treatment schedule ordering system that makes customers have to take treatment and customers must directly register at the clinic for treatment and often queue for a long time to get the desired treatment. This research aims to design and build a traditional medicine application on a web-based startup Medis Reborn. The system development method used is the waterfall method. The result of the research is the creation of a traditional medicine application, which is an online platform that connects traditional medicine clinics with customers in one place using a website so that customers can order traditional medicine schedules online. This online ordering system provides treatment scheduling as well as a choice of information on the location of the nearest clinic.

Abstract

UPT SPNF SKB Belitung is a non-formal school under the education office located in Belitung Regency. UPT SPNF SKB Belitung has 3 equivalence education packages, namely packages A, B, and C. The system for accepting new prospective students is still being carried out conventionally , namely prospective students must come directly to the UPT SPNF SKB Belitung office to register, As a result, it is less efficient in the use of time, distance, cost and energy. To convey registration information, banners are still being distributed in certain locations, as a result, the delivery is still not comprehensive. The process of inputting registration data for new prospective students is done manually so that problems occur such as difficulty in reading the handwriting of prospective new students, errors in inputting prospective student data and can result in the scattering of important documents for prospective new students. With the construction of this system, it can make it easier for registration staff and new students to carry out the registration process and processing student registration data. The method used to build website for UPT SPNF SKB Belitung is the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method.testing Black box is used to conduct testing on this system, the results of these tests are the system runs without any problems, all the features contained in the system function properly and are in accordance with user needs. With this system, it can make it easier for prospective new students to find information and register without having to come directly to the UPT SPNF SKB Belitung office and make it easier for admins as administrative staff to verify registration data online and process registration report data for prospective new students.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that the selection of avocado cultivation land still uses the method and does not use a computer-based system to choose avocado cultivation priorities. Because it has not used a computer-based system to choose land priorities, the purpose of this study is to build a system by implementing a decision support system for selecting avocado cultivation land using the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method. The criteria parameters used to choose alternative avocado cultivation land consist of temperature, rainfall, dry month length, soil texture, and drainage. The use of these 5 criteria can choose the priority of avocado cultivation land. The results of the application of the system, that of the 7 alternative lands are in the top priority with rank 1, namely Tanah Grogot land with a Ki value of 0.895 based on the analysis of the calculation of the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method. From these results, the implementation of a decision support system using the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method can be used as the best solution for selecting priority areas for avocado cultivation.

Abstract

Peduli Lindungi is an application developed to help relevant government agencies in tracking to stop the spread of COVID-19. Peduli Lindungi is expected to help the government in the tracking process to facilitate the detection of the reach of COVID19. However, over time, many complaints about the user experience written by users in the App Store and Play Store applications. This study uses the Heuristic Evaluation method to analyze usability. This method is used to get an evaluation of the shortcomings of usability. In this study, it was found that the usability of the Peduli Lindungi Application was good enough. However, there are still aspects that require improvement. This aspect is the Flexibility and Efficiency of Use with a severity rating of 3.8 and Aesthetic and Minimalist Design with a severity rating of 3.4. So that design improvements are made based on these aspects. The test was carried out and found that the Flexibility and Efficiency of Use had a severity rating of 1.5. While Aesthetic and Minimalist Design with a severity rating of 2.6. It is concluded that the design is better than before.

Abstract

Interactive media convey information through videos or images that can move with computer control in their presentation. Interactive media have a positive effect on children's language development. A language is a tool that humans need to communicate with each other. With the development of technology, especially in communication, Indonesian people have begun to learn English which is used as a means of communication between nations around the world. According to the English Proficiency Index, Indonesia will be ranked 80th out of 112 countries in the world in 2021. This shows that Indonesia is included in the low ability group. One of the efforts to improve English language skills is to introduce basic material from an early age. Children aged 0-6 years quickly absorb and receive various information. This study aims to build a UI modeling of basic English learning applications according to the needs and criteria of kindergarten-age children, which was built using the Child-Centered Design method to analyze the tasks required by the user and evaluate the level of usability using the USE Questionnaire method with a Likert Scale of 1-5. The findings of this study provide user interface design recommendations for basic English learning applications and have a usability score of 88.75. These findings indicate that this application is easy to use and provides a positive experience in learning basic English for kindergarten-age children.

Abstract

This study proposes the MLP type ANN method with the influence of Cross-Validation evaluation using three K-Fold tests, namely 3, 5, and 8. The data used are the data that relate to COVID-19 cases issued from the Bandung Public Health Office, climate report from Bandung Meteorological, Climatological, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG), population data from Bandung Population Office, citizen’s educational history from the Bandung Education Office and the West Java Open Data website. The data also was gathered from 151 sub-districts in Bandung City, with a total of 22 attributes collected from November 2020 to December 2021. The ANN method is included in the deep learning process. Therefore, the number of hidden layers utilized has a significant impact on the performance of the model being constructed. The implementation of Cross-Validation evaluation with K=8 results in an accuracy value of up to 98% and an error metric measurement of 0.3404 for MAE and 0.5994 for RMSE. This study's objective is to provide information on the optimal K-Fold Cross Validation parameters used in this ANN method to provide better performance during building a classification model for confirmed Covid-19 patients.

Abstract

The online transportation ordering mobile application is an application that helps users in ordering transportation facilities that can be accessed by anyone using mobile phones and internet users are no exception for people with visual impairments. Users with visual impairments with limited accessibility will have difficulty accessing the application. Based on the results of the initial survey, it was found that the online grab transportation ordering application is currently still less accessible and an increase in accessibility is needed. This study aims to design the right user experience to improve the accessibility of the application so that users with visual impairments can access the application properly. In this research, the method used is User Centered Design (UCD) which focuses on user needs and characteristics who are visually-impaired users. The study's findings are recommendations for the interaction design of the Grab application. Based on the needs and characteristics of the users, the resulting accessibility improvements are in the form of a simpler design than the previous design and features designed to overcome the pain points of users with visual impairments. Furthermore, the design that has been made is tested using the Cognitive Walkthrough method, which contains user scenarios to achieve certain goals. The evaluation results show that the scenario completion rate has increased and the number of errors made when completing the scenario has also decreased. It can be concluded that using the UCD method can improve the usability of the application.
