Abstract

Along with the development of technology that is increasingly sophisticated as it is now, the more information is needed, various kinds of information needed such as image files. Image files are files that have a lot of characters so that they always cause memory storage problems. high storage activity can cause a problem where a large storage space is needed. Increasing data size can result in a waste of storage space to overcome one of these problems, namely by compressing using the rice codes algorithm method with the existence of these methods, it can store more information. The expected result is an application that can perform the compression process from large size to smaller size and can be decompressed to restore files that have been compressed into original files or original files.

Abstract

Abstract Protecting information including multimedia documents is a major requirement in the era of information disclosure as it is currently. One way to overcome the above situation is to use steganography techniques. Steganography is the science and art of inserting secret messages in other messages so that the existence of the secret message cannot be known. To implement steganography using the Randked Positional Weight method by modifying the least significant bit or the last bit in one byte of data by using MP3 files as a storage medium. The results showed that the application was 100% successful in inserting and recalling messages that had been inserted. The result of message extraction has a message character compatibility level of 100% to the original message content. The size of the Mp3 after inserting a message is 100% the same as the size of the original Mp3. Mp3 files from steganography have very good quality above 50dB. However, steganography with the RPW method is not resistant to compression attacks that will cause the contents of the message in the Mp3 file to be lost.

Abstract

The teacher is an important resource in supporting the teaching and learning process. The quality of the teacher needs attention because it determines the quality of the teaching and learning process. Data mining has grown rapidly and added value to the information stored in the database. One fairly simple data mining algorithm is Rough Set. Teacher performance measurement can be done using the rough set method. Aspects or attributes assessed using the rough set method consist of: the process of teaching and learning, guidance and consultation, research and community service, and other tasks outside the main task. The research on teacher performance was conducted at the North Sumatra Provincial Education Office. The rough set method can be used to produce an output in the form of a Teacher's achievement. The purpose of applying this rough set method is to help the management in knowing the possibility of teacher achievement based on teacher data that has been stored so far. The benefit gained is that it can be determined early on that the prospective teacher's achievement is based on the knowledge gained through the rough set method. Tanagra is a data mining software in which several data mining methods are provided ranging from exploring data analysis, machine learning, and databases. Tanagra is an "open source project" because each researcher can access to the source code, and add his own algorithm, as long as he agrees and complies with the software distribution license.

Abstract

Text files are very often used so that the size of each file is different, often there are problems in file storage media, the more text files in a memory, the larger the size of the storage media so that it will become a problem. Compression is a way to minimize storage space in representing size. Compression is a technique to compress data or files, so that data or files that have large data capacity become smaller data, to store large amounts of data or files in memory that has a small capacity. The lzw algorithm is better than the zero compression algorithm for compressing text files.

Abstract

A text file is a collection of characters or strings that become a single unit. Text that contains many characters in it always causes problems in the storage media and the speed of time when transmitting data. Text file is a file that contains information in the form of text. Data derived from word processing documents, numbers used in calculations, names and addresses in the database are examples of text data input consisting of characters, numbers and punctuation marks. Seeing the need for data compression it is necessary to compress or compress data that can reduce data, thus gaining the advantage of reducing the use of external storage media space, accelerating the process of transferring data between storage media, compressing data with a higher ratio than the original data. The compression process is done by comparing several algorithms to overcome problems in storage media, where the method for compression using the Elias Delta Code Algorithm and the Levenstein Algorithm.

Abstract

Image search with the level of similarity of two images in a set of files with the Ratcliff / Obershelp algorithm is expected to help human work. This algorithm is an algorithm that can be used to find the similarity of two images by taking the RGB value of each RGB of the pixels per image. The process of searching for images with the highest likeness. Image format that can be input into the system is a bitmap image. Bitmap mapping of computer graphic images consisting of dots that form rows and columns, images consisting of dots and pixels. In the bitmap format, the image is stored as a matrix where each element is used to store color information to store color information for each pixel. This study uses the Ratcliff / Obershelp algorithm which is an image search algorithm which is performed by searching for matching of the same RGB value in the image. The image similarity search process can help resolve problems at the image similarity level and image search faster and more accurately. Ratcliff / Obershelp's algorithm helps image similarity search can be applied so that the search process can be easier. The Ratcliff / Obershelp algorithm is performed in detail by displaying query values ​​from the level the similarity of the image and the part that it executes and displays the image in bmp, jpg and png format to the image similarity search.

Abstract

The title of the thesis is the name of the Product Certification Institution, hereinafter referred to as Lspro, is an institution conducting SNI Mark Product User Certification activities by the Medan Industrial Research and Standardization Center. All this time, the Research Center and Medan Industrial Standardization for SNI Mark Product User Certification hereinafter referred to as SPPT - SNI is SNI Mark Product User Certification issued by the Product Certification Institute to producers who are able to produce goods produced in accordance with SNI requirements. However, the process of classifying the data possessed by the Medan Industrial Research and Standardization Center is too much so that when the certification data classification process is carried out it will take a very long time and will have an impact on granting such certification. C5.0 algorithm is an algorithm that produces a simpler decision tree and a more efficient use of memory. C5.0 algorithm can classify tree-based and rule-based prediction models. The use of C5.0 algorithm to get a decision model with a result of a higher level of accuracy This method will calculate faster. The purpose of this research is to be able to help speed up the decision making process, manage information contained in transaction data into new knowledge in SPPT-SNI by the Research and Standardization Center

Abstract

Interference with x-ray results of fatty liver disease often occurs, so that the results of the images are very difficult to understand due to interference with the results of the image, the interference is called noise, so the step taken is to reduce the noise. The help of the medract-scan median filter method can be identified and can be reduced to produce a clearer image again. The median filter can clarify the image of a scan-scan disorder in fatty liver disease. Improvement of noise in the image aims to improve the display of images for human views or convert an image so that it has a better format so that the image becomes easier to process with the machine (computer).

Abstract

Various types of image processing that can be done by computers such as, improving the quality of the zooming scale on CCTV screen capture images (image processing) is one of the fields that is quite popular until now. An image can experience interference in the form of damage to some parts or pixels in the storage process, this damage is in the form of major errors in an image for example in an image resulting in increasing the quality of the zooming scale. In the settlement, the writer uses spline interpolation method which is a good method for estimating low and high values ​​that are not found in the sample data. Screen capture functions to tell others about what is seen on the screen of the attached device because sometimes it is able to explain a situation very accurately. Screen capture is often used for various tutorials to make it easier for readers to read and some use it to explain a situation to others if there is a problem with the device being used in order to get a solution. The design that is done later can improve the quality of the zooming scale on the cctv screen capture image and make it easier to analyze the image to be zoomed in and produce a better image.
