Abstract

A hospital is a place where children often experience painful and unexpected medical procedures such as infusion that cause situational stress and anxiety that lead to unpleasant experiences for children. To reduce the pain, it is better to do non-pharmacological measures such as distraction technique. To find out the difference in pain scale when placing infusion in children who are given and not given distraction techniques in the emergency room of the Sultan Daeng Radja Hospital, Bulukumba Regency. This type of research is quantitative research, type This study used a quasi-experimental study with a non-randomized research design with control group design. The sample of this study were 36 children, divided into 2 groups, where the intervention group was 18 children, and the control group was 18 children. taken by a consecutive sampling method. Analysis of the data in this study used the statistical test of the Mann-Whitney test. Based on the pain scale when placing infusion in children in the group that was not given distraction (storytelling) techniques, there was the most in the category of very severe pain as many as 8 children (44.4%), while the group of children who were given distraction technique (storytelling) the most found in the category of moderate pain and severe pain as many as 5 children (27.8%). Based on the results of the analysis using the Mann-Whitney test, a significance value of 0.023 (p <0.05) was obtained. There is a difference in the scale of pain when placing infusion in children who are given distraction techniques (storytelling) with children who are not given distraction techniques (storytelling) in the emergency room of H. A. Sultan Daeng Radja Hospital in Bulukumba Regency.

Abstract

Hypertension is a risk factor for cardiovascular disease caused by several factors. One factor can be caused due to oral contraception. Prolonged use of oral contraceptives can cause hypertension. Hypertension is one of the health problems suffered throughout the world including Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the Old Relationship of Contraceptive Pill Use and the Occurrence of Hypertension in Family Planning Acceptors in the Work Area of ​​Herlang Health Center in Bulukumba Regency in 2018.The design of this research was analytic observational with Cross Sectional design. The population in this study were all acceptors who used contraceptive pill as many as 250 respondents. The sample of this study were 71 people taken using the purposive sampling method. Data analysis used chi square test with p value (<0.05).The results showed that the duration of contraceptive use of birth control pills on old acceptors was 60 respondents with a percentage (84.5%), while not long ago there were 11 respondents with a percentage (15.5%). From the results of the incidence of hypertension, there are 45 respondents with hypertension percentage (63.4%) and those without hypertension are 26 respondents with a percentage (36.6%).The conclusion that there is a long-standing relationship between contraceptive use of birth control pills and the incidence of hypertension in family planning acceptors in the Work Area of ​​Herlang Public Health Center, Bulukumba Regency. It is recommended that the results of this study can be used as scientific reading material in the library and also used as reference material for students who are researching this type of problem.

Abstract

DHF is an acute epidemic disease caused by a virus transmitted by Aedes Aegepty. According to 2014 World Health Organization (WHO) data, Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever was first reported in Southeast Asia in 1954 in the Philippines, then spread to various countries. Before 1970 only 9 countries experienced DHF outbreaks, but now DHF has become an endemic disease in more than 100 countries, including Africa, America, Eastern Mediterranean, Southeast Asia and the Western Pacific which have the highest number of DHF cases. The purpose of this study is to know the factors associated with the incidence of DHF in children in the Mawar Care Room of RSUD H.Andi Sulthan Daeng Radja Bulukumba in 2018. The method used in this study is analytical method. The sample in this study amounted to 162 people using total sampling. Retrieval of secondary data. Analysis of the data used by using the chi-square test. This research was conducted using the chi-square test with a level of confidence (α = 0.05) and the value of p-value = 0,000 was obtained, meaning p <α (0,000 <0.05). There is a relationship between the incidence of DHF in children in the Mawar Care Room of H.Andi Sulthan Daeng Radja Bulukumba Hospital. It is recommended that hospital institutions continue to provide information about factors related to the incidence of DHF.

Abstract

The choice of condom contraception makes husbands not satisfied with sexual intercourse. This shows that the husband's attitude is still negative towards the use of condom contraception that only thinks of himself, as well as the role of the wife in the use of condom contraception selection in intercourse which is still negative in the work area of ​​the Karassing Health Center. The population in this study was the husband of EFA active family planning acceptors who visited in the last 7 months (September 2017 - March 2018), the population in this study was 44 respondents, the sample of this study was 30 respondents. The sampling technique uses a probability sampling technique with a simple random sampling approach. This type of research is a descriptive study. Analysis to measure the wife's knowledge, attitudes, and support is univariate analysis. Good knowledge results as many as 11 respondents (36.7%), while sufficient knowledge of 10 respondents (33.3%), and lack of knowledge as many as 9 respondents (30.3%). The results of positive attitudes were 29 respondents (96.7%), while negative attitudes were 1 respondent (3.3%). The results of the wife's support received the support of 16 respondents (53.3%), while those who did not receive support were 14 respondents (46.7%). The conclusion of this study is, "the majority of respondents' knowledge is in a good category, most of the husband's attitudes are in a positive category, most of the husbands have the support of their wives in the selection of condom contraception in the work area of ​​the Karassing Health Center in 2018.

Abstract

Stunting or short body is one of the nutritional problems that are of global concern especially developing countries including Indonesia, and Indonesia ranked fifth with the level stunting events in the world. Many factors that cause stunting are one of them lack of food intake obtained by someone and inadequate such as lack of food intake someone and inadequate such as lack of energy and protein in taking. The purpose of the study is to know the relationship between protein intake and the incidence of stunting in children in the work area of public health Bontobangun Rilauale sub-district Bulukumba district. The research design was analytic observational with a cross-sectional approach. population and sample in this study were children aged 2-7 years as many as 47 respondents were taken using nonprobability sampling technique using observation sheet and food recall the results showed that there was a relationship between protein intake and the incidence of stunting in the work area Bontobagun community health center builds rural districts Bulukumbain 2018 with chi-square alternative fisher test obtained p-value = 0,000 (<α=0,05. Abstract

Stunting is a linear growth disorder caused by malnutrition in chronic nutritional intake and/or in chronic and recurrent infectious diseases as indicated by high z-core values according to the age of Tb / Ub less than -2 standard deviations. ASI is a safe food for infants to have a balanced composition of nutrients as needed and contains antibodies that can protect babies from the disease so that breastfeeding can guarantee adequate nutrition, prevent pain and death in infants. This study aims to determine the relationship of exclusive breastfeeding with the incidence of stunting in children under five in the working area of the gattareng health center. The research design used is quantitative analytic research with Cross-Sectional Design approach, the sampling technique is consecutive sampling to get respondents as many as 84 respondents from all populations of children under five in the working area of the gattareng health center. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to respondents and processing data / statistical tests using the Chi-Square Test with a significance value of α <0.05. And presented in the form of tables and narration. The results of this study There is a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the incidence of stunting with a value of P = 0.001 <0.05. This study concludes that exclusive breastfeeding is in the high category of 49 people (58.3%) and the incidence of stunting as many as 42 people (50.0%).

Abstract

Preeclampsia is a collection of symptoms that arise in pregnant women consisting of hypertension, edema, and urinary protein symptoms usually appear after 28 weeks of pregnancy or more. The maternal mortality rate in Indonesia is still high at 305 per 100,000 live births, seen from the health status of the mother, especially pregnant women, 28.8% of pregnant women suffer from preeclampsia. The high rate of maternal and infant mortality in Indonesia cannot be separated from various influencing factors including the lack of health awareness. Lack of maternal knowledge of the incidence of preeclampsia in pregnant women is the cause of the increased number of preeclampsia, therefore it is necessary to provide health education so that mothers can know the signs and symptoms of preeclampsia and complications that will occur. Herlang Health Center Herlang District. The research design used in this study is Pre Experimental Design with the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design approach. The population in this study as many as 93 people in the Herlang Health Center Herlang District with many respondents 45 pregnant women. The sampling technique is Non-probability sampling. Statistical test using the Wilcoxon test. Results: In the knowledge of the mother obtained a value of P = 0,000 (p <0.05), it was concluded that there were significant differences in knowledge between before being given health education and after being given health education to pregnant women. Conclusion: There are differences in proportions before and after health education is given. Suggestion: Health education is given regularly to prevent preeclampsia.

Abstract

According to the result of the WHO study, the use of globally, the use of modern contraceptives has increased from 45%1990 to 57.4% in 2015. Several women complained about the use of a 3-moth contraceptive method causing irregular menstrual cycles, namely menstrual cycles which are shortened or elongated, bleeding spotting, and can not occur at all. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between injection contraceptive use and menstrual cycle changes in injectable family planning acceptors in pustu Turungan Beru Herlang District, Bulukumba District in 2018. Analytical observational research method with cross-sectional design. The population in this study was the mother who used injectable birth control, which was 233 respondents. The sample of this research is 77 people taken by using sample random sampling. The results showed that the rate of use of injectable contraceptives in the old acceptors was 61 respondents (16.0%). From the menstrual cycle results, there were 61 (61.0%) who were irregular ones were 16 (16.0%). Analysis of data using the alternative fisherman chi-square test obtained p= 0,000 means that the value of v= <a (0,05). The conclusion is that there is a relationship between the use of injectable family planning acceptors in pustu Turungan Beru herlang district in Bulukumba district in 2018. Advice to health workers to further improve the education of injectable family planning so that it is expected to mothers the mother is suitable and following her wishes.

Abstract

In 2016 according to WHO more than25 â„… the number of children under the age of five years was around 166 million children who experienced stunting, whereas in 2018 the prevalence of stunting in South Sulawesi decreased by around 30.8 â„…, but if the stunting problem was still above 20 â„…, then it is still a public health problem. The research purposes to know relationship parenting feeding with an incident of stunting on toddlers. This research is quantitative research through observational analytic approaches with cross-sectional design. The number of samples was 36 people from all populations of toddlers in the working area of the gattareng health center with a sampling technique using consecutive sampling. Data processing using the chi-square test with the significance value a <0,05. The result of the study there is a relationship between parenting feeding and incident of stunting with value p:0,000 <0.05. Parenting feeding is in the lacking category as much as 52,8â„… and incident of stunting as much as 50,0â„….

Abstract

Diarrhea is almost one in five child deaths caused by diarrhea in developing countries. Based on data obtained from the medical records of Sinjai Regional Hospital in 2016 the number of diarrhea patients in children was 195 cases (43%), in 2017 there were 117 cases (26%), and in 2018 the number of diarrhea patients was 136 cases (30%). One of the causes of the increasing incidence of diarrhea is the low level of parental knowledge about diarrhea management, so it is necessary to increase the knowledge of parents in diarrhea management. This study aims to determine the "Influence of Health Education on Increasing Parental Knowledge about Diarrhea Management in Children in the Sinjai Regional Children's Hospital in 2019. The study was conducted with a Pre-Experimental method with the design of the One Group Pre-Post-Test, the population consisted of 136 people. The sampling technique used was consecutive sampling with a sample of 37 parents of children, with a questionnaire instrument that was carried out for one month. The test used in this study is a paired T-test to find out the difference between before and after health education in diarrhea management. Based on data analysis, it is known that the level of knowledge of children's parents before being given health education, 15 respondents (40.5%) were in the lack of knowledge category, whereas after being given health education 34 respondents (91.9%) in the good knowledge category increased. This study shows the parents of children who get health education affect the increase in parental knowledge about diarrhea management in children and can contribute ideas in broadening the insights of concepts, theories, and knowledge and can be used as a reference in conducting further research.
