Abstract

The research aimed to define how important English was learnt for students due to the examination and how to design the material course so that the students had capabilities to pass the English exam of PMB STAN. The research was conducted based on students’ ability who were there in SPC course in Medan. The students were given thirty meetings consisting of subjects which were dealt with the questions of the test. As the result, the subject was derived from the easy one to the difficult one and they were connected each other.

Abstract

The National Science Olympiad is a competition in the field of science for elementary, middle, and high school students in Indonesia. Students who take part in the National Science Olympiad are students who pass the selection at the district and provincial levels are the best students from their respective provisions. The implementation of OSN aims to find talent, learn to compete, increase insight and increase potential in the field of science which is carried out once a year. school is to choose students who fit the criteria as prospective participants who follow OSN appropriately, because the selection process is based on the best decision based on the level of ability and knowledge of students is not easy. Selecting students who take part in the Olympics will be carried out by the teacher / principal through a written test and the student's academic score, so it takes a long time because it selects students first.

Abstract

Service to students is an important aspect for the comfort of students at universities in undergoing study process, one of the services that need to be considered is student satisfaction with lecturers, especially in private universities, student satisfaction with lecturers is very influential because it can have an impact on the absorption of knowledge provided to achievement. for students, it is necessary for the right method to measure the level of student satisfaction with lecturers, the purpose of this study is to perform a comparative analysis of the fuzzy Inference system of the Mamdani, Sugeno, and Tsukamoto methods to be able to measure the level of student satisfaction with lecturers accurately and with the right method, The stages of this research method are data collection from STMIK Pelita Nusantara, data identification as the basis for fuzzification formation, fuzzy inference system process with Mamdani, Sugeno, and Tsukamoto methods, then analysis of the three t-methods is carried out. This is to select which method is the most accurate, then carry out system development and system implementation. The results obtained in this study are the Fuzzy Inference System has been successfully created and can be applied to this research, and from the comparison of the 3 methods, it is known for level measurement research. student satisfaction with lecturers, the best method is the Sugeno method, in addition to its high accuracy, determining the constants to be values that match the criteria for the assessment range and also the calculations are not so complicated.

Abstract

Data security in accessing computers and laptops is one form that must be considered both physically and non-physically because Spyware is a program that is able to spy on the activities of computer users and data recording techniques by recording typing or events carried out by a laptop called a keylogger. can also be one of the data security techniques that the user does on the laptop to prevent someone from stealing data on the laptop by using a refog keylogger

Abstract

Fire is an uncontrollable event as a result of a rapid exothermic oxidation reaction that is accompanied by the emergence of fire/ignition that can cause loss of property, soul and ecology. The Fire Station Percut Sei Tuan is Located at Jln. West Irian, Sempali Village Percut Sei Tuan is one of the Fire Station in Deli Serdang. A squad commander is in charge of being in charge and giving instructions to members. The problem that is often faced in the selection of a squad commander is the difficulty of conducting a performance assesment in determining who is worthy to be the right squad commander. The purpose of this study was to determine which firefighters were entitled and worthy to be the commander of the squad at the percut sei Tuan post based on existing criteria without differentiating their existing social status. For that we need a decision support system that is able to assist in decision making where the decision is not yet known what decision will be taken. By using the TOPSIS method, it is possible to determine the squad commander at the Percut Sei Tuan post quickly and accurately.

Abstract

Data security issues become very important when the computer has been used as a communication tool on a global network (internet). One method that is quite popular for securing data from irresponsible parties is text-based steganography, where confidential data or information is hidden or inserted into other text media so as not to arouse suspicion from other parties. The text insertion model used is a dictionary based on 1,918 words consisting of 7-word classes that correspond to sentence patterns in Indonesian. In this study, confidential information in the form of text was successfully disguised into sentence patterns in Indonesian. For input data whose bit length is 8 the average output bit length is 20%, for the input bit length of 80 the average output bit length is 79.16%, and for the input bit length of 640 bits, the average output bit length is 95.24%. The meaning of the sentence is not fully understood.

Abstract

The amount of competition in the business world, especially in the electronics industry, requires developers to find a strategy that can increase product orders at electronic companies. With daily printing activities, the data will increase over time. The data not only serves as an archive for the company, the data can be utilized and processed into useful information for increasing product orders. The data not only serves as an archive for the company, the data can be utilized and processed into useful information for increasing product orders. Apriori algorithm is a market basket analysis algorithm that is used to generate association rules. Association rules can be used to find a relationship or cause and effect. Association rules can be generated with a priori algorithm. An a priori algorithm that aims to find frequent itemsets is run on a set of data. Market basket analysis is one of the techniques of data mining that studies consumer behavior in buying goods simultaneously at one time. The purpose of this research is to analyze product order data to form a pattern of itemsets combination using a priori algorithm, to form rules with association rules, to implement data mining by using Tanagra 1.4 tools. Stages of this research method have several stages including literature study, field research (field research), analysis, discussion of analysis based on the method used,

Abstract

The development of website technology is currently very fast, so it is very easy to get accurate information. Promotion through the website is also currently one of the things that digital marketers are interested in. A good website will have a good impact on the goods we produce. One of the good or bad of a website is determined by SEO (Search Engine Optimization) techniques. In this study, we use the website www. webkuliah.com to prove whether SEO techniques can have a good impact on search results on search engines such as Google, Yahoo, or bing. The results obtained prove that SEO is very good in making websites known by search engines. The results prove that by using the keyword web university on the Bing search engine, the website can occupy the first page of Bing, it's just that it doesn't rank number 1 because it can't compete with the campus domain, which happens to be the name of the website used similar to the name of the campus. But the drawback of this SEO technique is that it takes a long time to occupy the first page of Google because this service is free.

Abstract

The health sector data survey on data variables randomly for data greater than 100 was tested for several hypotheses with significant values. >0.05, the effectiveness of using SPSS 17.00 and Microsoft Office on the feature settings used. The normality test on the data distribution is adjusted to the limit value for each test. The data input discrepancy is influenced by the significant value and the limit value. Hypothesis testing performs a comparison between the sample value and the proposed hypothesis value. The conclusions that can be drawn from hypothesis testing are rejecting the null hypothesis and failing to reject it. the value of = 0.05 (5%) for health/social research and = 0.01 (10%) for laboratory research
