Abstract

Flood is a natural disaster that occurs when excessive flow of water will submerge the land. Floods also often occur because most of the garbage is thrown carelessly so that the drains or sewers are clogged especially with the continuous rain for days so that the overflow of water causes flooding and many casualties. To overcome this problem, there needs to be a solution so that there are no more casualties and losses, namely making a water level monitoring system by utilizing the telegram application as a notification medium. The system will be made by utilizing Arduino UNO as a controller and based on IoT (Internet Of Things) so that information can be sent accurately. This study aims to make the local community aware of overflowing water. The designed tool will automatically detect water from safe, alert and dangerous status. If the water level rises to a danger status, nature will issue an alarm sound and automatically send a message to the telegram application that the water level is in danger status. This system will later be implemented for the community in various flood-prone areas

Abstract

Libraries for universities play a very important role, especially in efforts to manage and disseminate information. The library information system is very helpful for the academic community in accessing everything in the library. For this reason, it is necessary to evaluate the usefulness of the library information system. One of the tools that can be used to evaluate library information systems is the System Usability Scale (SUS). This study aims to evaluate the university library information system using the SUS questionnaire. Research respondents are samples taken from students who have used library information systems. Based on the results of the questionnaire obtained a score of 70.4 with a rating of "Good" and Letter Grade "B".

Abstract

Lau Gumba Village is a village located in Brastagi District, Karo Regency, North Sumatra Province which is quite well known because it has quite interesting tourist objects to visit. The information system that presents information on tourist attractions in the village only displays pictures and names which are presented in the form of maps, newspaper and web advertising media that do not provide direct instructions to the destination tourist location. The problem obtained from the media information for tourists is that they do not get direct instructions on the location of the tourist attraction geographical position. This requires technology that can present tourist attraction information, namely Geographic Information Systems (GIS). So that tourists who want to travel to Lau Gumba Village but still don't know the location or place of an interesting tourist attraction to visit can be known by tourists who will visit. To overcome this problem the author uses an approach to a digital mapping model in the form of a GIS (Geographical Information System) based on an Android mobile using Google Maps as a digital map. The method used in this research is using UML (Unifed Modeling Language), PHP program, java and MySQL database as data storage. The Geographic Information System (GIS) for natural tourism objects has two programs, namely an admin program to manage web-based tourism data and a user program to display android-based tourist objects. This geographic information system aims to provide convenience and speed to the public in obtaining information about Natural Tourism Objects in Lau Gumba Village.

Abstract

Swallow's nest is made from the saliva of swallows, especially species of swallows of the genus Collocalia. Swallow's nest is used traditionally to improve health so it is widely consumed by the community. Swallow nest products are difficult to produce, causing the product to be expensive. This study aims to analyze the costs and benefits of swallow nest production. The analysis uses the Greedy algorithm, which is looking for solutions to each stage of production. The principle of Greedy's algorithm is "take what you can get now". There are 6 processes in the production of swiftlet nests, namely sorting raw materials, cleaning, drying, printing, in process control (IPC) and packaging. In the sorting and cleaning process, employees in the medium and medium to light nest categories were combined. The total costs incurred in the sorting process are reduced by 14% and the costs incurred in the cleaning process are reduced by 8%. The process of drying dense and medium hair nests takes the same time so that they are carried out simultaneously and the required cost is reduced by 11% to Rp 675,000. Abstract

Rating assessment in a film is the most important thing because it describes the satisfaction of film lovers with the films they have watched. With technological advances like now, we can easily find out the rating of a film by using a platform to accommodate the audience's review results, namely the Internet Movie Database (Imdb). The Machune Learning model that has been created can determine whether the film we watch is good based on ratings and reviews from moviegoers who share their experiences in watching similar films. Based on the results of the analysis of the two algorithms Linear Regression and Dicision Tree Regression, the best accuracy results from the Decision Tree Regression algorithm are 95.47%

Abstract

The development of UMKM has been influenced by the development of information technology and information systems. E-Commerce is one of the technologies that supports the development of UMKM and trade today. The design of this E-Commerce application is designed and built using the waterfall development model. This study aims to develop a sales system for UMKM using information technology and information systems such as E-Commerce. E-Commerce technology is designed and built using website-based applications, making it easier for UMKM users and members to promote UMKM products and their businesses. The main target of using this technology is the UMKM in Bengabing Village, Pegajahan District. Users of this application are administrators who have full rights to application processing and application data, in terms of entering product data. It is hoped that the application of this E-Commerce application can be a medium for developing sales and marketing of UMKM products in Bengabing Village.
