Abstract

Abstract: A fisherman's settlement is visually a settlement for the community, seen as a slum and an underdeveloped area that does not meet the ideal requirements of a technical or non-technical dwelling. This prompted the government to revitalize the area by procuring and improving existing infrastructure. Makassar City is also known as a maritime city that has a lot of potentials but is experiencing problems in the Lette area. In the revitalization of the Lette area, which the government held, the government did not create a visual character for the area which is famous for its marine life, but what happened was that the Lette area had returned to being a slum area. This has led me to conduct research on the physical elements that make up the visual character of an ideal waterfront design standard and also direct the Lette community's perception of the factors and elements that form the visual character of building mass, space, circulation, vegetation, street furniture, and activity functions. To direct the design on visual factors that quantitatively affect visual comfort. the method used in this study is a quantitative method with a rationalistic approach, using interviews, observations, and surveys. The conclusion obtained must be that there is continuity of visual elements that provide clarity of direction to create visual comfort, arrangement of visual elements of vegetation that form sequences in an area, unity of binding lines in rows of buildings contextualized by setting openings, structures, and floor heights making comfort make comfort Visually, the dominance of elements that clarify green open spaces and the arrangement of organic building growth in the area, the formation of continuity in the flow of motion and clear and regular road conditions create a visual character in the Lette area.

Abstract

The hierarchy of the five senses, from greatest sense of sight to lowest sense of touch, is used to understand them. This is the fundamental idea—that humans almost never disregard the role that their sense of sight plays in the course of their lives. It's crucial to comprehend architectural space from a different point of view in order to later accomplish a deeper emotional approach to the user, which is also a distinctive space experience from other designs without an architectural sense. approach. A character in this Sightless 2020 study is suddenly become blind after being struck by a fan strike and is compelled to comprehend the local spatial architecture using other non-visual senses

Abstract

Based on data from information from the Ministry of Home Affairs 2018, Indonesia had 16,056 islands in 2017. On Java itself, there are several beaches managed by local and private governments. In West Java Province precisely in Tegal Regency, Kramat District, Maribaya Village has a potential one named Maribaya Beach. This beach has uniqueness because it is opposite the ship's workshop so it can be a tourist attraction. The coastal community is struggling to be able to realize new ideas so that it is carried out according to the character and value of Maribaya Beach such as the wreck of the ship and a large pine tree. The community in question is coastal observers and local village governments who play a role in advancing Maribaya Beach. The main objective of this research is to compile a model of development or master plan and recreation of Maribaya Beach, Kramat District, Tegal Regency, Central Java Province as an effort to increase the competitiveness of innovation and science. The results of this study include design strategies developed through an understanding of several case studies, field conditions, and community specifics around Maribaya Beach. The value of this study comes from its potential from the community for the benefit of designing and developing strategies, plans, agendas, and alternatives that are more effective to improve the quality of the coastal community of Maribaya coastal coast.

Abstract

The coastal area of Makassar city provides productive natural resources both as a source of food, mineral and energy mining, communication media as well as recreation or tourism areas, this has consequences in managing various existing potentials, especially coastal areas, and overcoming the obstacles and challenges faced. The purpose of the study is to explain the factors that influence the occurrence of spatial utilization deviations and how to control space utilization deviations. The location of the research was carried out in the Coastal Area, Tamalanrea District, Makassar City, which experienced a very fast and rapid process of land use change, it was suspected that there was various land uses as magnets that could attract the growth and development of other land use activities. The method used consists of the observation method and the Questionnaire method in a qualitative-quantitative descriptive analysis through a cross-tabulation approach and a descriptive analysis of Law Number 26 of 2007 concerning Spatial Planning. The factors that influence the occurrence of spatial use deviations in the coastal area of Tamalanrea District are the substance of the spatial plan, the rules/stipulations factor, the process, and procedure factor, the institutional factor, and the unavailability of the standard and technical rules for the use of space. As well as the absence of a detailed spatial plan for Makassar City, it is difficult to control the use of space in the Coastal Area of Tamalanrea District.

Abstract

Along with the development of technology and the development of housing and infrastructure development. Therefore, it is also necessary to develop alternative building materials. In this study, it was planned to test the feasibility of marble waste clay as a cement substitution material in the manufacture of mortar. This is one of the solutions for handling industrial waste so that it can be utilized optimally. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of substitution of marble waste clay on cement, fine aggregate, and water in mortar physically and mechanically. So that it can be seen the possibility of its use in the application of masonry and plastering work. The materials used in this study consisted of Portland Composite Cement (PCC), fine aggregate, water, and marble waste clay as a partial substitute for cement. The tools used in this study have previously been checked for their conditions and capabilities and have been calibrated first. The mortar cube test object was made by inserting fresh mortar mix from a mixing machine with ASTM C 305 standard into a cube mold measuring 5 cm x 5 cm x 5 cm. Testing the compressive strength of mortar after each specimen reached the age of 7, 14, and 28 days. The number of specimens using marble waste clay substitution of 20%, 30%, and 50% as well as normal mortar specimens, each made as many as 9 pieces. All of the specimens were treated with the water curing method. From the results of testing the compressive strength of normal mortar at the age of 28 days obtained a value of 11.91 MPa. While the 20% marble waste clay substitution mortar obtained a compressive strength of 8.73 MPa and the 30% and 50% substitution obtained a compressive strength of 6.66 Mpa and 4.13 MPa, respectively. Based on SNI 6882–2014, it can be assumed that the 20% marble waste clay substitution mortar which reaches 8.73 MPa is greater than the required compressive strength for type N and O mortars which are 5.2 MPa and 2.4 MPa, respectively. So that it is considered to be used as a mortar for wall work, plastering, parapet walls, foundation wall partitions, manholes, canals, road pavements, sidewalks, terraces and other infrastructure works.

Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelago with a remarkable potential for marine wealth. However, the magnitude of this potential is not well-balanced with the provision of good facilities and infratructure so as to improve the quality of fisheries in Indonesia, especially in Bandar Lampung. One way to improve the quality of fishery product is to provide the facilities and infrastructures of fisheries products in the form of a hygienic fish market (PIH) in accordance with the health requirements hygiene of food and environmental sanitation requirements which in Lampung, there is no hygienic fish market (PIH). The approach that can be used and applied is the activity scheme approach. The activity schemes studied in this research are the activities of main user, fisherman, traders and consumers. This approach of activity patters is considered to be able to provide an effective space layout in accordance with health requirements, hygiene of food and environmental sanitation requirements because it contains theories of relation between humans and the environment.
