Abstract

Abstract: This study is about improving teachers' pedagogical competence through academic supervision with a collaborative approach in SMPN 2 Modo Lamongan. The problem of this study is whether through academic supervision with a collaborative approach it can improve pedagogical competence (ability and motivation) of teachers in SMPN 2 Modo Lamongan? The results of this study are if academic supervision uses a collaborative approach, the pedagogical competence of teachers in SMPN 2 Modo Lamongan will increase. The subjects of this study are six teachers of SMPN 2 Modo Lamongan. The researcher obtains data by using an instrument for evaluating teachers' performance, observations and field notes. In analyzing data the reasercher uses qualitative descriptive statistical data analysis techniques. From the results of data analysis in cycle I and cycle II, a conclusion can be drawn that through academic supervision with a collaborative approach, the pedagogical competence of teachers in SMPN 2 Modo, Lamongan has increased.Keywords: Teachers' pedagogical Competence, academic supervision, collaborative approach

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to formulate the concept of hearing in the Qur'an and how it is applied in education. From thematic studies it is found the concepts of hearing in the Quran as follows: (1) Hearing is the first and main sense in human development so that it becomes an important knowledge path. (2) From the study of auditory objects it is found appropriate guidance for certain different conditions. Qawlan Ma'rufa for public associations, qawlan sadi>da for childcare and learning, qawlan bali>gha for study, qawlan kari>ma for associations with parents and respectable people, ahsanu qaula for da'wah, qawlan tsaqila for da'wah callers, qawlan maysura for weak people the needy, qawlan layyinan for diplomacy. (3) There is an internal prohibition that will have a negative effect on listeners. Hearing fake news, tajassus, other people's ugliness and so on. (4) There is a prohibition on making statements resulting in sin and danger. Falsehood, qawlan adhi>ma which generally contains falsehood, or puns that contain ridicules, manna, adza, mocking others, self-deprecation, giving bad nicknames, vain words that cannot be understood ( 5) From the aspect of how to regulate intonation, the Quran also regulates a code of ethics and in a good way. The application of the concept of hearing in education can be done in the following five steps: (1) Preparing place and psychological conditions (2) Reading ta>wudz and basmalah (3) Providing the best example according to conditions (4) Students repeat correctly, (5) Delivering with true method in accordance with the so-called qawlan baligha.Keywords: Hearing, the Quran, education

Abstract

Abstract: The problem of early marriage is always interesting to discuss and debate for being capable of raising the pros and cons. Various responses to early marriage appeared both positively and negatively. Early marriage is a social phenomenon that occurs in many parts of the world with different backgrounds. This is certainly a concern for the international community, given the risks arising from early marriage are physically and psychologically, including sexual relations. Poverty is not the only important factor that plays a role in early marriage. When we trace the roots of the problem of early marriage in Indonesia, especially on the island of Java it has actually become something commonplace for our ancestors. In their context there is a negative stigma if a woman marries at an adult age in their community. This paper will discuss the phenomenon of early marriage in the context of law and psychology. To some extent those who have an early marriage will experience psychological risks such as stress, irritability, anxiety and depression.Keywords: Early marriage, Islamic Law, psychology

Abstract

Abstract: Da'wah messages can be accepted among the (youth) community through da'wah packages that attract the attention of da'wah objects (mad'u). In packing da'wah messages, it is necessary to understand the mad'u situation, as done by jam'iyyah Hadrah Nurul Mustofa, which is much favored by young people, especially in Darungan-Cangkring-Jenggawah-Jember. The da'wah activities carried out by the Hadrah Nurul Mustofa have a special attraction for members and the community in general as their madú. Because the design of the da'wah movement is carried out in balance with the social conditions of young people who incidentally are alcoholic addicts. The purpose of this study is to understand the propaganda movement carried out by the Hadrah Nurul Mustofa to provide academic contributions with a theoretical description in the missionary movement, in addition it also provides a broad understanding for readers regarding the missionary movement, especially for Muslims who have the obligation to convey religious messages through da'wah. In this study, the researcher uses descriptive qualitative methods to explore data. This type of research uses a phenomenological approach that describes the general meaning of a number of individuals on various life experiences, so that the researcher can explore data relating to the tendency of youth and general habits already inherent in their social life. Collecting data in this study with active participant observation, non-structural in-depth interviews so that the data needed can be explored as deeply as possible. Data analysis uses a combined description of the phenomenon being studied by including textural descriptions and structural descriptions. This is the essence of individual experience that is the object of research and displays the peak aspects of phenomenological studies. The validity of the research data uses data triangulation which includes source triangulation, technique triangulation and time triangulation. The conclusion of this research is that the Majlis Shalawat Nurul Mustofa in fortifying youth morality is by using an emotional approach so that they have self-motivation in leaving all the wrong behaviors and doing good deeds or positive attitudes.Keyword: Da'wah, Moral, Youth

Abstract: This paper aims to discuss about hadis classified as dhoif by  Al-Bani in his book Dhaif Adabul Mufrad al- Imam Bukhari based on hadis analysis about basic necessities of husband to his family, as stated in hadis 96  no 115. This hadis is classified as hadis mauquf because ar-Rajul referred to Shahaby or Rasulullah friends, when the writer traced the hadis based on simultaneous analysis, this hadis classified as hadis dho’if  by al-Bani is absolutely correct. The hadis text  is not considered shad or contradicted to the history of the Quran. So It is shohihul matan. But the writer found any other aspect of rawi like Ismail bin Rofi' and clasified as Majhul like Al-Walid.Keywords: Simultaneous analysis, dhaif adabul mufrad, basic necessities of husband

Abstract

Abstract: Islam under Prophet Muhammad SAW is a universal religion that is humanistic, dynamic and contextual. But in reality Islam is carried out by several groups as a radical religion. This paper will examine the face of humanistic, dynamic and contextual Islam with the face of Indonesian Islam, so-called Islam Nusantara, the development of Islam, and Anti-Radicalism Islam. The results obtained are firstly, Indonesian Islam is Islam that is creatively packaged and combined with local traditions. Secondly, Islam Nusantara is a typical Indonesian Islam that upholds tolerance, mutual respect, and preserves cultures having existed since ancient times. Thirdly, Islamic thinkers in Indonesia always want to fight for their voices in offering secularism, liberalism and pluralism for the creation of progressive Islam. Fourthly, Islam Nusantara is anti radicalism Islam.Keywords: Indonesian Islam, Islam Nusantara, and Islamic Progress.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this study is to discuss about the problem of epistemology of Islamic education that is not clear for still being considered following the epistemology of the West. The development of Islamic education and science still has an ambiguous attitude. Firstly, when looking at the findings of educational theories from the West and the East, it tends to be accepted without criticism by seeking arguments from the Quran and Hadith which sometimes tend to be irrelevant. Secondly, it is a very normative attitude in the face of the arguments of the Quran and Hadith instead of going through the stages of in-depth analysis. Both method and type of this study are commonly related to a study of literature, which displays the arguments of scientific reasoning that describe the results of literature review and researchers’ point of view concerning the epistemology of islamic education. Focus of the study is remain exploring and analyzing the problems and alternative solutions of epistemology in the Islamic education philosophy. This kind of study contains or delves into the idea of related propositions and should be supported by data or information obtained from literatures. With the foundation of qualitative and rationalistic philosophy. The results show that the epistemological approach requires a certain way or method, because it presents the process of knowledge of students rather than the result itself. This epistemological approach provides a complete understanding and skill. Those who know the process of any activity must know the outcome. Abstract

Abstract: Purdah has become a Muslim institution for a thousand years. Purdah is an integral part of medieval Muslim society and culture. The concept of purdah stems from the system of dividing two regions in Islamic society, namely the private area (home) and the public area (workplace). Women are in a private area while men are in public areas. According to the general assumption of Islamic society, as long as women are in the public area, women must wear a veil or purdah. Based on the general concept, according to Riffat Hassan about the concept that women do not have to cover their faces with a veil when they leave home. Riffat interprets the hijab (including headscarves or purdah) does not meant to have clothes that cover the entire body of a woman including her face and palms, but clothes that are according to socially properness.Keywords: Purdah, Riffat Hassan.

Abstract

Abstract: Talking about religious tolerance in Indonesia is not something new. Because, in Indonesia religious tolerance has been been well-preserved for a long time. However, there have been strong indications of "involvement" of foreign parties willing to intervene in the country lately. So that the long-standing tolerance for tens or even hundreds of years has likely met disturbances that "pollute" religious tolerance in Indonesia as explained by Prof. Muhammad Tholhah Hasan in his book, "Multicultural Education as an Option of Preventing Radicalism". Likewise in some works of the cleric who once served as Minister of Religious Affairs in the era of Gus Dur. However, there were several criticisms of the Tolchah Hasan’s work, for example; 1). The theme of Indonesian Islam so-called as Islam Nusantara, no longer leads to the so-called Islam Rahmatan Lil Alamin, because Indonesian Islam or Nusantara Islam has so far become a manifestation of Islam Rahmatan Lil Alamin itself, 2). The work is actually a reflection material from a large amount of data on scientific references and developments in newspapers and television shows as well as inadequate field data directly, 3). The work actually really deserves to be a reference to Indonesian Islamic thought, it's just that the standards of scientific research have not been used completely, for example using a systematic writing methodology, having clear informants, having a clear research location and various other scientific research standards.Keywords: Islam, tolerance, Muhammad Tholhah Hasan

Abstract

Abstract: Educator is one component in education that has an important role. Given the importance of the presence of an educator in front of students, Educators are required to master various learning methods, one of which is the demonstration method. The demonstration method is a teaching method where both educators and students together do something as a practical exercise from what they know. The demonstration method will provide a clear picture and concrete understanding of a process or skill in learning concepts rather than just hearing, explaining or just verbal statements from educators. The use of demonstration method provides many benefits including; making teaching clearer and more concrete, focusing the attention of students, more directing the learning process of students on the material being studied, more attaching experience and impressions as learning outcomes to students, making students easier to understand what is learned, making the teaching process more interesting, stimulating students to actively observe and adjust between theory and reality, helping students understand clearly the course of a process of an object, and facilitating various types of explanations. Thus, the use of demonstration method can broadly increase students 'motivation to learn, if students' learning motivation increases, eventually learning objectives can be achieved.
