Abstract

Teachers have a very important role in educational success. Therefore, teachers are required to work professionally. The professionalism of a teacher can be seen from the competence he has. There are 4 competencies that must be owned by the teacher namely; professional competence, paedagogic competence, personality competence, and social competence. The form of realization of the competent professional teacher is seen from how he did learning in the classroom. A professional teacher in teaching can skillfully use various methods so that the learning process is not boring. One method that can be used by a teacher is the Think Pair Share Co-operative method. Through the method of cooperative learning type think pair share is expected learning outcomes especially Islamic religious education more effective. Think Pair Share type cooperative method can improve students' ability in remembering information and also a student can learn from other students and give each other their idea to be discussed before it is delivered in front of class. In addition, Think Pair Share can also improve confidence and all students are given the opportunity to participate in the class. Here the teacher is no longer the sole source of learning, however, it is precisely the student is required to be able to discover and understand new concepts of the questions asked by the teacher before the material begins.Keywords: PAI Learning, Cooperative Method Think Pair Share Type

Abstract

This study examines the efforts of PAI teachers in improving student religiosity. This study aims to determine the efforts of PAI teachers in improving student religiosity, supporting and inhibiting factors and giving solutions to overcome the inhibiting factors of PAI teachers in improving student religiosity. This study uses a qualitative research method through descriptive analysis. The results of the study could be concluded that there are some efforts made by PAI teachers in improving student religiosity including: providing guidance to all students to always worship and have morality, helping students with less religious knowledge, providing good examples for students, motivating students to actively perform worship and evaluate every activity. From the efforts made by PAI teachers, students coud be more diligent in conducting worship and having morality in accordance with the teachings of Islam. Supporting factors for teachers are internal factors, namely the teachers themselves; and external factors namely the existence of professional and qualified teachers who carry out their obligations properly, the existence of infrastructure supporting religious activities and the support from other teachers and all existing staff at school. Inhibiting factors for teachers include different student backgrounds and the environment or relationships that can affect students. The solution is to work with other teachers and students' parents so that they could supervise them.

Abstract

Many are peeling many of wich explore the child’s ungodly behavior to parents, but few who explore the opposite phenomenon of the ungodly behavior of parents against their children. Children is a grace from God of Allah swt to his parents to be grateful, educated and fostered to be a good person, strong personality and ethical Islamic. While, the development of religion in children is largely determined by the education and their experience, especially during the pre-election period of expectant mothers and fathers and the first growth period from 0 to 12 years. For that, the author is moved to explore and examine (about) the concept of elderly parents in the perspective of Islam. This is the author thoroughly to know who exactly the child in his existence according to Islam? What is the rule and rule of education in family and family roles in children’s education? What are the preparations (actions) that are classified as the ungodly behavior of parens against the child? In this study shows there is an effect (impact) between the family environment (parents) on the formation of islamic character and ethics in children from an early age mainly from the factors of prospective fathers and prospective mothers so the authors get the correlation that the failure of good personality planting in early childhood will turn out to form a problematic person in his adulthood (his grow up). While the success of parents guiding their children will determine the formation of character and their morals so that the family environment conditions are crucial for the success of children in social life in their adult life later (after grow up).  In this study resulted in the conclusion that there are some things that make the parents become ungodly against their children and it has been conceptualized in the holy book of the Qur’an which at least in this study collected there are 14 components of eldery behavior of the lawless to their children.

Abstract

This research entitled The Role of Islamic Boarding Schools in Preventing Radicalism in the Al-Ma'ruf Lamongan Islamic Boarding School, in this study there are several things that will be examined, namely 1) the role of teaching in the Al-ma'ruf Islamic boarding school in preventing radicalism? 2) the role of kiai in the Al-ma'ruf Islamic boarding school in preventing radicalism? The researcher used qualitative methods and a case study approach. The results of the research of the subjects studied were first through the role of teaching books to understand religion, then the inculcation of disciplinary values, methods and aspects of the curriculum used in the Al-ma'ruf Islamic boarding school based on books or books that teach the values of understanding. moderate Islam, and the cultivation of the ideology of Ahlussunnah Wal jama'ah Annahdliyah (NU), the two roles of the kiai as role models, the kiai as advisors, and the Kiai as guides, hereby researchers want to know about the Role of Islamic Boarding Schools in Preventing Radicalism in Islamic Boarding Schools Al -Ma'ruf Kranggan Sidokumpul Lamongan.

Abstract

Rules are binding ones and become guidelines for schools tocreate a safe and orderly school atmosphere. They are also used as a reference for norm that must be created and implemented by schools, especially in producing good-behaved student. School rules must be implemented properly along with sanctions or penalties for violatorsof discipline in order to facilitate the cultivation of student’s culture of discipline. The support and cooperation of school members could also help create a culture or discipline for students. On account of school discipline rules, student are able to control their disciplinary behavior maximally. In order to achieve the expected disciplinary result, discipline must be carried out effectively. In addition, it is necessary to have the support and cooperation of all school members in order to realize student’s discipline. Therefore, in this paper, the writer will explain about the implementation of school rules in cultivating student’s culture of discipline, obstacles in implementing school rules and how to overcome them, and the role of school members in cultivating student’s culture of discipline. implementation

Abstract

Pendidikan sebagai upaya pembentukan karakter adalah bagian integral dari orientasi pendidikan Islam. Tujuannya adalah membentuk kepribadian seseorang agar berperilaku jujur, baik dan bertanggung jawab, menghormati dan menghargai orang lain, adil, tidak diskriminatif, egaliter, pekerja keras dan karakter- karakter unggul lainnya. pesantren memiliki keunggulan, terutama dalam penanaman nilai-nilai luhur kepada santri. Dinamika pendidikan pesantren lebih mengedepankan pendidikan karakter (character education) atau pendidikan moral (moral education), sehingga mampu melahirkan lulusan yang memiliki idealisme, kemampuan intelektual dan perilaku mulia. Di pesantren, santri dididik untuk memahami, menghayati, mengamalkan ajaran Islam dengan penekanan pentingnya moral dalam bermasyarakat. Hal ini dapat dilihat bagaimana santunnya santri dalam menghormati guru. Model pendidikan karekter yang dilaksanakan di pesantren dewasa ini mulai diperhatikan oleh pemerintah. Sebagian pihak menilai bahwa strategi pendidikan pesantren telah berhasil menanamkan pendidikan moralitas santrinya, walaupun proses pendidikan di pesantren tidak memiliki perangkat pembelajaran yang lengkap, tetapi menghasilkan lulusan yang memiliki karakter yang lulur. Tujuan penelitian yang dilakukan penulis adalah mengetahui pembelajaran pondok pesantren Daruttaqwa Suci Manyar Gresik dalam membentuk karakter santri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif research, dalam penelitian ini peneliti fokus terhadap kegiatan dan kurikulum yang digunakan dalam pesantren yang berkaitan dengan pembentukan karakter santri. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembentukan karekter di pondok pesantren Daruttaqwa Suci ada 4 pembelajaran, pertama kegiatan mengaji kitab kuning, kedua madrasah diniyah ketiga pendidikan formal dan keempat peraturan pondok pesantren

Abstract

Teachers play a major role in developing education, especially those that are organized formally in schools. Teacher's work products become a symbol of the progress of civilization. This means that teacher professionalism is the basis of educational progress. They are professional educators with the main task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, and  evaluating students in any formal education. In carrying out these main tasks, teachers are required to have expertises in their field. The main task will be effective if the teacher has competencies (pedagogic competence, personality competence, professional competence, and social competence). These competencies must be implemented in the learning process (instructional) in which the student component is a very important factor. In the learning process students are expected to be able to receive messages or learning materials from their teachers. To be able to receive learning materials from teachers, one of which is the need for motivation that could be fostered by professional teachers who have pedagogic competence.
