Abstract

Nahdlatul Ulama sebagai organisasi berbasis keagamaan terbesar yang berdiri sejak 31 Januari 1926 silam dan masih eksis sampai saat ini.[1] Nahdlatul Ulama berada ditengah negara yang notabene adalah negara dengan pemeluk agama Islam terbesar di dunia. Per Maret 2021, pemeluk agama Islam di Indonesia sejumlah 87,2% dari total populasi penduduk di tanah air atau setara 227 juta jiwa. Sebagai organisasi ulama transnasionalis dengan jumlah anggota yang besar kendati bukan sebagai organisasi pemerintahan yang mewakili sekitar kurang lebih 35 juta muslim berdasarkan penelitian 1994.[2] yang mana tidak selalu menjadi anggota resmi namun masyarakat tersebut memiliki keterikatan emosional dan primordial dan mengakar kuat di kalangan akar rumput. Dalam artikel ini akan diulas berkaitan dengan keterikatan Nahdlatul Ulama dengan Indonesia ditilik dari perspektif yang lebih luas termasuk juga bagaimana peran dan posisi Nahdlatul Ulama sendiri sebagai organisasi keummatan dalam percaturan dan geopoltik global. Menakar Nahdlatul Ulama sebagai organisasi dengan generasi penerus yang melimpah dan mumpuni sebagai bekal pembangunan bangsa Indonesia. Dari perspektif global, Nahdlatul Ulama memiliki cukup pengaruh terlebih dalam upaya perdamaian dunia melalui banyak agenda internasional. Keberadaan Pengurus Cabang Istimewa (PCI) pun juga menjadi representasi Nahdlatul Ulama dimata dunia dimana di masing-masing cabang membawa misi yang sama untuk mempererat ukhuwah insaniyyah sebagai sesama manusia. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan merujuk pada literatur bacaan dan analisis sosial kemasyarakatan. Dimana disimpulkan bahwa Nahdlatul Ulama memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan sebagai sebuah organisasi keagamaan di negara dengan pemeluk agama Islam terbesar di dunia. Keberadaan Nahdlatul Ulama memberikan kesejukan baru ummat beragama dengan aksi-aksi konkret bukan hanya bergerak dalam ranah pendidikan, ekonomi, sosial budaya dan lingkungan namun juga kemanusiaan.

Abstract

One of the hairstyles that is currently trending is the French crop hairstyle. Even though everyone has the right to choose any hairstyle, what is interesting in this article is that an academic chose a French crop hairstyle that was different from academics in general. The aim of this research is to find out the hidden meaning that Prof. wants to convey. Iswandi Syahputra, through the French Crop hairstyle that he uses using Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis. The research method used in this research is field research, namely research carried out by participating directly at the research location to explore and obtain information related to the meaning contained in Iswandi Syahputra. The collected data will be analyzed semiotically using interpretive techniques. The results of this research are that there is a religious meaning, namely that he wears a French Crop hairstyle as a form of obedience to the Prophet Muhammad. and there is also an ideological meaning, namely locally based with a global perspective, he wants even though we are only local people, we must have broad insight.

Abstract

Public relation is a form of public service, if poor public service practices by state officials result in the communitys needs not being met, which ultimately does not bring about general welfare. Poor public services occur because of the bad intentions of state administrators to abuse their power and authority, therefore there is a need for a strategy in building the identity of the Musi Rawas Police. The communication strategy developed by Musi Rawas Police Public not only in obtaining a good image, but also in how the positive image that has been built can be maintained. The type of research used is a qualitative approach with the approach regarding public relation. Data collection techniques use observation methods, interview methods, and documentation. The implication of this research is that it is hoped that the public Relations Communications Strategy in building the image of institutions in society will be maximized, because it is necessary to create good relations between the police and the community.

Abstract

The study reveals an in-depth analysis of the representation of Islam in the Western media, highlighting the issues of bias and stereotypes that still often color Western views of Islam and the Muslim community. This study uses a literature study with integrative literature analysis to obtain comprehensive results. The results of the study stated that the representation of Islam in the Western media has a significant role in shaping the views and understanding of Western society about Islam. These representations are not always objective and are often influenced by biases and stereotypes that develop, which later become the object of sharp criticism. Criticism of the representation of Islam in Western media raises issues of injustice, imbalance, and potential for Intercultural conflict. However, in this context, the role of da'wah, which focuses on delivering accurate messages, peace values, and rejection of extremism, has positively contributed to changing media representation. Whether conducted through traditional media or online platforms, da'wah can shape a more balanced narrative, overcome biases, and educate the Western public about Islam. Therefore, efforts to continue promoting an educative and peace-oriented da'wah are important in shaping a better and objective representation of Islam in Western media.

Abstract

Nowadays, with the development of information and communication technology, da'wah activities seem to be activities that are only related to lectures, cults, sermons which are watched either offline or watched on television, YouTube or other new media. The aim of this research is to find out how the fardiyah da'wah activities that were previously exemplified by Rosulullah SAW are also practiced by his people in this increasingly modern era. Researchers used descriptive qualitative methods in this research activity. In the research, it was found that the research object had been carrying out da'wah activities for a long time in an environment far from urban access. The research results show that fardiyah da'wah activities must be carried out with strong intentions, full of sincerity, patience and sufficient religious knowledge. So that fardiyah da'wah runs well and smoothly.

Abstract

This research discusses the public relations communication strategy of the Lubuklinggau city government in improving the image of the Lubuklinggau city government. This research aims to find out what communication strategies are used by Lubuklinggau city government public relations in improving the image of Lubuklinggau city government. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with data collection techniques used, namely interviews and observation. The results of the research concluded that Lubuklinggau city government public relations has implemented a public relations strategy, namely exploring the desires of the community, socializing the achievements of the Lubuklinggau city government through the media, managing relationships, developing strategies and developing networks. In accordance with its role, public relations is a tool used to establish good relations between the government, society, mass media and other agencies so that good cooperation occurs. From there, public relations carries out communication activities with the public, media and other agencies. This is done to improve the image within the institution. From these activities and strategies, a harmonious relationship was established between the community and the Lubuklinggau city government.
