Al-Isyraq: Jurnal Bimbingan, Penyuluhan, dan Konseling Islam is a scientific journal, serves as a forum for publishing the original research articles related to Islamic guidance and counseling. The bulletin encompasses research articles, original research report, reviews, short communications and scientific commentaries in Islamic guidance and counseling including: managing of guidance and counseling. Assessment in counseling, Islamic counseling, Islamic theraphy, career development, personal and social development and academic development. All papers submitted to the journal should be written in English or Indonesian. The work should not have been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.

<![CDATA[Interpretation of the verses of the Qur'an is very important, especially its use in the world of Islamic guidance and counseling, because the interpretation of the verses of the Qur'an can be used by counselors in overcoming client problems. This study aims to describe the concept of Islamic guidance and counseling in surah At-Tahrim Verse 6. This research was conducted through a literature review. The results of the study show that the concept of Islamic guidance and counseling is in accordance with Surah At-Tahrim verse 6 namely "O you who believe! Protect yourself and your family from the fires of hell," referring to the goal of Islamic guidance and counseling, namely to call on clients to increase their faith by doing good and forbidding evil.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the process and results of counseling carried out by counselors on a counselee who is experiencing gadget addiction through individual counseling based on reality therapy. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method which explains the process carried out by counselors when providing counseling to clients who are addicted to gadgets. The results showed that initially the diagnosis showed that there were symptoms of addiction to gadgets based on their daily habits. These habits result in antisocial children, neglecting schoolwork, chores at home, and unstable emotions, even denying their parents. Furthermore, the counseling process is carried out on the counselee with the technique of changing his habits by controlling himself and having responsibility for the decisions chosen through the reality therapy approach. The result of the counseling process is that the client has started to control himself by making a schedule for studying, playing with friends and family, also playing gadgets. When one of the schedules he made was violated by himself, then there were consequences he had to bear.]]>

<![CDATA[The research objective was to determine the urgency of the assessment in the preparation of guidance and counseling programs in senior high schools. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method. The subjects in this study were 16 guidance and counseling teachers at State Senior High Schools in Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota. The data collection techniques in this study were through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study stated that the position of the assessment was not too important because of the limitations of guidance and counseling teachers in compiling, implementing, and interpreting existing assessments. This has caused some schools to develop service programs not yet based on the assessments that have been carried out. Therefore, it is very necessary to provide guidance in compiling, implementing, and interpreting assessments for guidance and counseling teachers as a whole in the form of programs on guidance and counseling teacher deliberations as well as the active role of guidance and counseling supervisors, as well as elements of leadership in schools.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the relationship between the role of parents and social media on premarital sexual behavior in youth youth organizations in Campurdarat Village. In this study, researchers used a quantitative approach with a correlation design. The population in this study amounted to 40 youth youths and the sample was determined through saturated sampling technique so that the large number of samples was 40 youth youths. The results showed that there was a relationship between the role of parents and social media on premarital sexual behavior in youth youth organizations in Campurdarat Village.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper aims to strengthen the opinion or concept of the dual role of a woman in the public and domestic spheres. This research uses normative descriptive research with juridical-empirical analysis. Based on the results of the study, the author will discuss the patriarchal culture in Indonesia and then examine it using the perspective of Said Ramadhan Al-Buthi. Regarding the dual role of women in the public and domestic spheres, it is a woman's choice. The existing regulations in fiqh, the Compilation of Islamic Law, and the Civil Code in general indicate that one of the obligations of a wife is to obey her husband. Therefore, it is important to have a husband's permission when his wife wants to increase her role in the public sphere. While the obligation to take care of the household is a shared responsibility. Al-Buthi explained that the division of roles in taking care of housework is a contract that must be discussed before marriage. If there is no contract, then customary law applies in that country. ]]>

<![CDATA[The formation of a perfect child’s personality is a task that is not easy for parents, especially if the parent is a single parent. Some female students at Ma’had Tahfidh Al-Qur'an Putri Al-Amien Prenduan have single parents so they have problems communicating with their surroundings. However, there are also female students who have single parents who have cheerful and friendly personalities. Therefore, this study aims to determine the personality characteristics of female students who are single parents and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in shaping the personality of female students who are single parents Ma’had Tahfidh Al-Qur'an Putri Al-Amien Prenduan. The research used a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate the personality characteristics of female students who are single parents at Ma’had Tahfidh Al-Qur'an Putri Al-Amien Prenduan, namely extroverted personality and introverted personality. Supporting factors in the formation of female students’ personality are internal and external factors, while the inhibiting factors in the formation of female students’ personality are biological factors, upbringing, and tension in the family.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstrak Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah memberikan gambaran ideal laboratorim konseling agar lebih optimal dalam penggunaannya. Lokasi penelitiannya adalah di laboratorium konseling pada Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling Islam Fakultas Ushuluddin dan Dakwah UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah satu dosen dan satu mahasiswa pada program studi tersebut. Teknik yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan keadaan laboratorium konseling sudah cukup optimal di dalam pengembangan dan pemanfaatannya sebagai sarana untuk mengembangkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam kegiatan dakwah teori maupun praktis yang mengutamakan nilai-nilai keislaman dalam proses konseling, namun masih butuh dimaksimalkan lagi pada segi pendanaan dan sarana pra sarana serta semua kegiatan yang dilakukan di laboratorium harus terdokumentasi dengan rapi dan lengkap, sehingga fungsi dan manfaat laboratorium konseling sebagai tempat mengasah kompetensi mahasiswa di bidang konseling dapat difungsikan secara optimal, mengingat banyaknya mahasiswa yang ada pada program studi tersebut..Kata Kunci: kompetensi mahasiswa; laboratorium konseling; optimalisasi.]]>

<![CDATA[Keaktifan belajar diperlukan bagi setiap peserta didik. Karena keaktifan belajar yang rendah, akan mempengaruhi gangguan belajar pada siswa. Salah satu yang dialami siswa kelas XI di SMK PGRI 4 Kediri dalam pembelajaran daring (online) adalah kurangnya keaktifan siswa dalam belajar. Hal tersebut dapat diamati ketika kegiatan belajar mengajar, siswa menampakkan sikap tidak antusias terhadap pembelajaran daring yang sedang dilaksanakan. Untuk dapat memahami seberapa besar keaktifan belajar siswa, diperlukan sebuah instrumen berupa skala keaktifan belajar siswa. Dengan adanya skala tersebut diharapkan keaktifan belajar siswa yang terarahkan secara valid dan reliabel.
