Abstract

This study aims to describe the module of Poetry Writing Based on Contextual Approaches to improve learning outcomes. This study used the R&D method of Borg and Gall. The subject of the study was a student of grade VIII D MTs Negeri 3 Gunungkidul. The results showed (1) Product characteristics of the Contextual Approach-Based Poetry Writing module as follows: a) in the form of a printed module of Contextual Approach-Based Poetry Writing; b) the material presented is associated with things around life, so that students more easily understand the material; c) module preparation refers to the contextual learning flow; d) the module contains material for writing poetry based on a contextual approach contained in contextual steps; e) Modules can be used in classroom learning and self-study for students at home. 2) The feasibility of the Contextual Approach Based Poetry Writing module based on the assessment of experts, practitioners, teacher, and student responses provides excellent categories and deserves to be used. 3) the product is effective in increasing knowledge, (N-gain score 0.6533), attitude (6%), and skills (9%).

Abstract

This research aims to develop differentiated teaching modules combined with the project-based learning model to increase students' activeness and creativity in participating in history learning at SMA Negeri 1 Gondang Bojonegoro in the chapter on the Hindu-Buddhist maritime kingdoms in Indonesia. The teaching modules developed will be validated by several experts. The results of this research were that the validation value from material experts obtained a percentage of 82.53% with very appropriate criteria, the validation value from media experts was 78.37% so this teaching module was declared valid. Plus, results the attractiveness test from educators obtained a percentage of 86.80% and from students 88.25% so this teaching module was declared attractive. Based on these results, the differentiated teaching module can be declared suitable for use.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student activeness and learning outcomes in learning Cultural Arts poster making materials. This research using the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method was carried out in 2 cycles. The subjects of the study were students in class VIII-C MTs Negeri 1 Yogyakarta. Data is obtained from teachers (observers) and students through observation, tests, and documentation. The results showed that student activeness and learning outcomes in the learning process through the application of the Canva application have increased significantly. In the first cycle, an average class score of 81.06 was obtained with classical learning completeness of 83.87 with the category of students being quite active. In cycle II, the average grade score increased to 87.71 with classical learning completeness reaching 100% with the active student category. The application of the Canva application in learning Cultural Arts poster making materials can increase student activeness and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the Team Games Tournament learning model in improving learning outcomes in writing English descriptive texts. This study used a class action research method which was carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle consisted of 2 meetings. The subjects of the study were students of class X-C MAN 3 Sleman in the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The results of this study showed that there was an increase in English learning outcomes of X-C grade students, which was shown by: (1) the average learning outcomes in cycle I of 72.74 increased to 79.72 in cycle II; (2) learning completeness in cycle I of 62.5% (20 students) increased to 75% (24 students) in cycle II of a total of 32 students. This learning activity shows that the Team Games Tournament cooperative learning model can be applied to materials related to writing descriptive texts.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student activeness and learning outcomes in science subjects. This research is a best practice with the subject of research being class IX-E students at MTs Negeri 1 Bantul. This study tries to describe Rasenda's learning method (Summarizing, Percentage, and Deepening of Material). Data were collected through observation, documentation, and learning outcomes tests. Data analysis uses qualitative analysis techniques. The results showed that the Rasenda model had a positive effect on the activeness and learning outcomes of science. This is shown by the increase in student activity during learning at all stages of Rasenda by 60.8% in material I and increased to 80.7% at the end of material II. Similarly, student learning outcomes are the highest score of 78 in material I to 87 in material II, the lowest score of 60 in material I to 67 in material II, and the average score from 65.56 in material I to 80.20 in material II. The Rasenda method can improve activeness and science learning outcomes in MTs Negeri 1 Bantul for the 2023-2024 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to improve Mathematics learning outcomes using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. This research is classroom action research with the research subject of grade VIII-B MTs Negeri 3 Bantul students. Research is carried out in 2 cycles and each cycle consists of 2 meetings, covering 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection of learning outcomes is obtained by end-of-cycle tests and processed quantitatively. The results showed that there was an increase in mathematics learning outcomes of grade VIII-B MTs Negeri 3 Bantul students on the "Opportunities" material. This is shown by a significant increase in student learning outcomes which reached an average score of 65 in cycle I and 74.19 in cycle II with learning completeness of 61% in cycle I and 80.6% in cycle II, an increase of 19.6%. Learning using PBL can be used as a reference in mathematics classes in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to improve motivation and learning outcomes through a problem-based learning model in social studies subjects. This research is class action research carried out in 2 cycles with two meetings in each cycle. The subjects of this study were students of class IX-A MTs Negeri 4 Bantul. The stages in this study include planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data collection technique carried out is to use questionnaires and observation guidelines. Data analysis techniques use quantitative descriptive methods. The results showed that with the application of the Problem Based Learning model, motivation and learning outcomes of students can be improved. In cycle I the increase in student motivation increased by 78.57% to 92.85% in cycle II. The increase in learning outcomes is evidenced by an increase in the number of students who obtained scores above KKM, namely in cycle I by 64.28%, increasing to 89.28% in cycle II from a total of 28 students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyse the development of students' speaking skills through the story telling method at MTs Negeri 7 Sleman. This research is qualitative research with data collection techniques sourced from observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that there are still many students who have difficulty speaking or using the right words to convey ideas. This phenomenon says that teachers in madrassas usually emphasize more on teaching language theory. The teaching of speaking skills in madrassas generally has a lack of quality. In fact, students are still hesitant to express their opinions and are shy when asking questions, indicating that students' speaking skills have not reached their full potential and have not improved. The use of storytelling can be a significant learning tool because it can help teachers manage students' speaking practice procedures. Thus, the strategy of utilizing students to tell stories is useful and provides opportunities for students to listen and understand what they have heard, students can speak fluently, dare to ask, and dare to answer questions.

Abstract

This study aims to identify improvements in learning outcomes of the Quran Hadith through the active sort card learning method in students of grade VIII-C MTs Negeri 3 Sleman Odd Semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. This research is a type of classroom action research through two cycles. The subject of the study was a grade VIII-C student at MTs Negeri 3 Sleman. Data collection techniques in the form of learning outcomes tests taken from giving test questions in each cycle, questionnaire results and interviews with students to provide input on the course of the research process. The results showed that the use of active sort card learning methods can improve the learning outcomes of the Quran Hadith. In pretest cycle 1, the grade point average was 72.50 while at the time of post-test the grade point average was 80.00. While in cycle 2 the average pretest score was 73.50 while the post-test average score was 82.00. The classical completeness criteria also increased by 75% (24 students) in cycle 1 and 93.75% (30 students) in cycle 2.

Abstract

This study is classroom action research, aiming to find out whether the PBL learning model can increase students' interest and learning outcomes in science at MTs Negeri 7 Sleman. This research was carried out in two cycles which included planning, action, observing, and reflection activities which were carried out in two cycles. The subject of the study is 7th grade students. Data collection uses observation methods with checklist instruments and performance tests. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively. The results of the study showed the completeness of classical learning outcomes in the first cycle, namely with an average score of 67.24 and 55.17% (16 students) with the complete category, while in the second cycle there was an increase with an average score of 80.11 and 84.62% (22 students) with the complete category. The conclusion of this study is that the PBL learning model can improve the learning outcomes of students with science material at MTs Negeri 7 Sleman.
