TAKAMUL is a journal of Gender and Child Studies is published by Pusat Studi Wanita Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. First published in 2012, this journal is published twice a year in June and December. This is a scientific communication media for enthusiasts and observers of gender and children study. The editor receives articles of gender and children study from academics, researchers, practitioners, and postgraduate students. The articles will be published after a mechanism of selection, being examined by the expert, and editing process. This journal is open-access which means that everyone can access for individual or institution for free. A user will be allowed reading, downloading, copying, distributing, producing, creating a link from the article, or using for academic writing under the condition of publication ethics. This journal has been indexed by national and international indexing website, such as CrossRef. And this journal has Digital Object Identifier (DOI). Takammul : Jurnal Studi Gender dan Islam Serta Perlindungan Anak mempublikasikan karya ilmiah dan hasil penelitian yang fokus pada issu gender, keluarga dan anak melalui pendekatan multidisipliner.

Abstract

Sebagai wujud dari proses penciptaan manusia, Tuhan Swt telah memberikan masing-masing pihak keragaman dan kelebihan yang satu sama lain. Keragaman dan kelebihan ini bukan merupakan kunci pembeda yang mesti dinilai sakral, melainkan wujud kesetaraan yang saling mengisi satu sama lain. Oleh karena itu, dimensi perbedaan kendati diperankan melalui seorang wanita hanya bersifat kodrati (alamiah). Artinya, perbedaan itu hanya diukur sebatas anatomi tubuh semata yang menjadi legalisasi utama dalam menjalankan pelbagai mobilitas fenomena sosial, dan ini perlu penegasan secara objektif tanpa mengandung unsur bias, sekiranya kemampuan bertindak dari seorang perempuan melebihi standar seorang laki-laki dalam menjalankan kehendak inisiatifnya dalam rangka membela tanah air; dan itu ada pada diri Cut Nyak Dien.

Abstract

Orang tua memiliki kontribusi yang besar dalam tanggung jawab mengajar dan mendidikkan al Qur’an pada anak.  Dewasa ini, sebagian  besar orang tua telah melimpahkan tanggung jawab pendidikan al Qur’an anak pada Taman Pendidikan al Qur’an (TPA), ini tidak berarti tugas dan tanggung jawab mereka sudah tunai disaat mereka melimpahkan kepada lembaga tersebut. Kontribusi para orang tua dalam pendampingan anak saat belajar al Qur’an dan menghafalnya memiliki hubungan erat dengan kuantitas dan kualitas hafalan al Qur’an pada anak. Riset kualitatif yang dilakukan terhadap santri yang belajar dan menghafal al Qur’an di TPA al Mukahyyarah Darussalam menunjukkan hasil bahwa  keberhasilan peningkatan kuantitas dan kualitas hafalan al Qur’an  santri di lembaga pendidikan al Qur’an sangat dipengaruhi oleh seberapa besar kontribusi yang dapat diberikan orang tua santri tersebut dalam pendampingan aktivitas menghafal al Qur’an di rumah.

Abstract

Mother as a noble woman figure described by Islam plays an important role in every cycle of time. Both parents are the most meritorious human beings, especially mothers are like lamps in lighting the lantern of life. Their sacrifices and services are so great, their time, energy, thought, attention and funds they give and sacrifice without limit. Especially mothers when they are pregnant, giving birth risking their lives, not a few of them die at the time of giving birth to the baby they want. Mother's sacrifice continues from time to time as the child develops in forming and creating a Rabbani generation that is in accordance with Islamic guidance, this cannot be separated from the mother's education itself. Children should honor their parents, especially mothers with noble character.

Abstract

The existence of women in politics is needed as a representation of women's voices to influence political policy. There are several factors that influence the presence of women in the political world such as participation in party activities, ideology of the party chosen, social support, educational background and political experience. It requires strong determination to compete in political participation. One psychological theory that discusses self-determination is the theory of self-determination. There are three parts in the theory of self-determination, namely the need for competence, interrelation and autonomy. Based on this explanation, this study aims to see a picture of self-determination in Aceh women in the political world. The study uses qualitative methods with purposive sampling technique. The sample of the study was a female councilor in the DPRK. Data collection is done by interview and observation. The results showed that all three parts of the theory of self-determination were found in women councilors in the DPRK Banda Aceh City and Aceh Besar District. Self-determination is an internal factor that makes female legislators able to survive and adapt well in the political world.There are also supporting external factors such as family factors, which are dominantly active in the political world.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the response of parents to the importance of implementing parenting programs at the Early Childhood Education Institution (PAUD). The problem that often occurs is the frequent occurrence of asynchronous between the patterns of education received by early childhood in the education and care process between PAUD or TK and their families. Differences in education patterns between teachers and parents in how to educate early childhood sometimes make it difficult to change behavior for the better in early childhood, this is because there are differences in understanding between teachers and parents about early childhood education. With the parenting program, it is hoped that it can bridge and eliminate differences in perspectives and the education and care system between parents of children and teachers. However, children will spend more time with their parents than their teachers at school. This research is descriptive qualitative by interviewing 20 parents who send their children to TK IT Permata Sunnah Banda Aceh. The results showed that the parents of the early childhood interviewed considered the parenting program very important, in fact they were very supportive of the activity. Parents recommend that schools conduct parenting programs, especially in the form of seminars, social gatherings and various other forms of educational activities to broaden the knowledge of parents in caring for early childhood.
