Abstract

Medical equipment is an important element in health services, however, inadequate maintenance and management leads to a decrease in the efficiency and effectiveness of equipment operations. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of a digital equipment loan and return system. The method used is a pilot project with the Kurt Lewin approach. The unfreezing stage was carried out by identifying problems through interviews, observations, questionnaires to inpatient nurses at X Hospital. The movement stage, the implementation of the plan of action (plan of action) prepared with the hospital. The refreezing stage cannot be carried out because the implementation process is still ongoing. The results of the implemented solution are the use of G-forms as a medium for recording the borrowing and returning of medical devices between inpatient rooms and testing web applications. Recommendations for RS X are the establishment of regulations for borrowing and returning medical devices, socialisation of web applications as a medium for borrowing and returning medical devices, the need for logistics training for nursing staff.

Abstract

Drug abuse can occur an increase in global and national prevalence rates. This is influenced by several factors including the family and community environment, causing several impacts including biological, psychological and social impacts between the psycholoogical impacts of drug abuse, namely the decrease in self-esteem and self-efficacy. Handling of drug users needs to be given in order to increase self-efficacy, nursing care that can be given in the form of Psycosocial Intervention is the application of interventions in the form of rehabilitation therapy, supportive therapy, group therapy, supportive counseling, therapeutic communities, group education, and yoga. Literature search through several databases namely Proquest, Science Direct, Wiley Online Library and Google Scholar in the last 5 years. Search uses english keywords: (1) drug abuse or drug dependence, (2) pshycosocial intervention, (3) self efficacy, (4) self-esteem. There are eight research articles, including three articles using Randomized Control Trials and five other articles using Quasi-Experimental Design. By strengthening knowledge, increasing self defense, providing social support, and improving perceptions about drug users, psychosocial interventions can be an effective intervention in increasing long-term self-efficacy for drug users not to return to addiction.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) by nurses in relation to service quality and patient safety. Based on the analysis of 10 journals, the results show that the implementation of EMR significantly increases patient satisfaction, reduces medication errors, and improves nurse work efficiency. The study also identifies challenges such as user resistance and technological infrastructure limitations. Overall, EMR has proven effective in enhancing healthcare service quality and patient safety, although further efforts are needed to address implementation barrier. This literature review research aims to find out how the effectiveness of electronic medical records affects patient safety and satisfaction. There were 10 journals used in the literature review. Journal searches were carried out through 3 databases, namely Google Scholar, ProQuest, Emerald Insight, selecting journals using protocol guidelines (PRISMA) starting from identification, screening, eligibility. Literature analysis shows that there is a relationship between Quality, patient safety (IPSG), efficiency, technology and the level of patient satisfaction.

Abstract

Hypertension is a long-term health condition that cannot be completely cured. However, individuals can effectively manage their blood pressure by undergoing prolonged or even lifelong medication therapy to keep it under control. This study aims to determine the adherence to taking medication in hypertensive patients at the Kartasura Health Center, Sukoharjo Regency. The study utilized a simple random sampling method to collect data, involving a total of 96 selected respondents. Data were collected in November – December 2024 using the MMAS-8 questionnaire (Morisky Medication Aderence Scale) and direct blood pressure measurement. The results of this study show that most of the respondents are women (58.3%), most of them are in the category of low compliance level (82.3%). The results of the statistical analysis yielded a p-value of 0.861, indicating that no significant correlation was found between adherence to medication and blood pressure levels among individuals diagnosed with hypertension. This study concluded that blood pressure in hypertensive patients will be stable if medication adherence is carried out properly.

Abstract

Stunting is a global health problem that affects children's physical growth and cognitive development. In some areas of Serang Regency, the prevalence of stunting remains high, requiring effective nutritional interventions. Objective: To analyze the effect of supplementary feeding in the form of duck eggs and UHT milk on the growth and weight of stunted children. Method: This study used a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pre-post test approach. Conducted in Padarincang District, Serang Regency, in 2024. A sample of 125 stunted children was determined using total sampling technique. Data was collected using observation sheets and analyzed with paired t-test. Results: A significant increase was found in the weight and height of stunted children after the intervention, where body weight increased significantly (p-value = 0.017) and t-value = -2.425, while height also increased significantly (p-value = 0.006) and t-value = -2.774. Conclusion: The consumption of two duck eggs and UHT milk has been proven to be effective in increasing the weight and height of stunted children. Therefore, parents are encouraged to provide sufficient sources of animal protein to support optimal child growth.

Abstract

Cooperative is a business that conducts administrative transactions. Computerization in the field of administration is important to support the smooth running of all transactions quickly, precisely, and accurately. In order to meet these needs, an integrated system is needed, and is able to follow changes in business processes that occur. Objective: to produce a desktop-based application program that can be used to facilitate cooperative management using the ProtoTyping method. Method: Research and Development research was chosen to find or create new products that have advantages in terms of effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity. The research stages start from formulating the problem, analyzing the results and drawing conclusions. This research was conducted in April 2025. The research location was at Koperasi Mandiri Karangrejo Magetan. The approach used is using the Prototyping model. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations and questionnaires. Analysis tests are developed on aspects of functional suitability, reliability aspects with the help of software called Web Application Load, Stress and Performance Testing (WAPT), and usability aspects. Results: a blueprint is produced which is used as a reference in the development of the cooperative information system at the Mandiri Cooperative. Using the Requirements gathering and analysis, Quick design, build prototype, User evaluation, refining prototype, Implement product and maintain design methods, it produces a structured design as the basis for system implementation. The architecture designed is a cooperative information system integrated with computer network technology. Conclusion: the study has compiled a cooperative information system design at the Mandiri Karangrejo Magetan Cooperative which can be accepted with satisfactory assessment results.
