SiPoSE : Studies in Philosophy of Science and Education is an international peer-reviewed journal that focuses on Philosophy of Science (POS) and Philosophy of Education (POE). The journal concerns in philosophical, theoretical, practical, psychological, and conceptual issues in science education and education in general. The SiPoSE is published three times a year in April, August, and December. The SiPoSE welcomes any research papers on Nature of Science (NOS), History of Science (HOS), Philosophy of Science (POS), and Philosophy of Education (POE) in any technical knowledge domain: original theoretical works, literature reviews, research reports, position papers, book review, and review articles. The articles should be original, unpublished and not in consideration for publication elsewhere at the time of submission to the SiPoSE. Check this video to know more about SiPoSE.

Abstract

In general, physics has been widely spread well in everyday life, one of which is used as a concept in holiday destinations in Indonesia. In East Java, Jatim Park group has been established by a combination of education and entertainment, resulting in the concept of learning while playing. Jawa Timur Park 1 is one of the eduparks in Indonesia with the first playground in the East Java area, especially Batu City. This research aims to analyze the use of circular motion physics concepts on Sky Swinger, Superloop Coaster, Enterprise, Tornado and Pendulum 360 in Jawa Timur Park 1, Batu. Research is carried out using literature study methods by outlining the problems discussed clearly and in detail related to the concepts of physics contained in the game rides. The data collection method used in this study used review and observation journals. Observation is done using social media in the form of Youtube. In this study, it was concluded that in the Pendulum 360, Sky Swinger, Enterprise, Tornado, and Superloop Coaster Rides at Jatim Park 1 Batu there is a physical concept in the form of circular motion, and there is centripetal force, centrifugal force, and centripetal acceleration.

Abstract

Edutainment can simply be defined as a learning designed by combining educational content with entertainment. This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the physics concepts contained in several rides at the Batu Night Spectacular (BNS) amusement park. This research uses a qualitative approach and is a case study. The data collection technique used is documentation in the form of images or articles on online media. There are three rides analyzed, namely Flying Swinger, Megamix, and Gravitron. From the data and the results of the analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that, Flying Swinger, Megamix, and Gravitron work based on the concept of force or having the concept of force on them. The forces that were analyzed on the three rides were centripetal force, centrifugal force, gravitational force, frictional force, and string tension force

Abstract

This study aims to examine the learning of physics in indoor games at Transmart Surabaya. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, namely by using a documentation study. The target of this research is a modern game that applies the concept of physics contained in the Studio Mini Transmart Surabaya. The method of data collection carried out in this study used the observation method. In this study, it was concluded that some of the games contained in Trans Studio Mini Transmart Rungkut, Surabaya, namely roller coaster games, new york (rotating swing), sky rider, mini electric car, mini train, and bumper car applied several physics concepts. The roller coaster game applies the concept of mechanical energy. In the new york game, the physics concept is applied, namely the concept of rotational motion and harmonic motion. In the game sky rider applies the concept of physics, namely the force of gravity, rotational and circular motion and the moment of inertia. In the mini electric car game, the concept of physics is applied, namely the concept of displacement, velocity, acceleration and friction. In the mini train game, the physics concept is applied, namely acceleration and friction. As well as in the bumper car game applying the concepts of physics, namely acceleration, collision and the law of conservation of momentum.

Abstract

This study aims to show that learning physics or understanding physics concepts is not only done in the classroom, but can be done outside the classroom even at fun playgrounds. The methods used are field case studies and literature case studies. In this study, it can be concluded that learning physics or understanding physics concepts is not only done in the classroom, but can be done outside the classroom even at fun playgrounds such as the centripetal force on the Ferris wheel and merry-go-round as well as the concept of simple harmonic motion on the Kora rides. -kora. Exploration of physics concepts on game vehicles can be an innovation in learning when students are getting bored in learning physics in theory, teachers can connect physics materials and concepts with game vehicles around us or even if possible can invite students to study outside the classroom so that learning can take place. become more meaningful, fun and easy to remember by students.

Abstract

Edutainment in physics learning or also known as physics-edutainment is a physics learning strategy associated with entertainment. The purpose of this article is to explore the physics concepts contained in the Indonesian Fantasy World. The research was conducted by studying literature from various sources of supporting articles. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, while the type of research used by the researcher is library research. Data or information in the form of articles obtained, then analyzed according to the content or purpose of each article. The data obtained is that there are 6 game rides that have been explored, including the Kora-kora, Bianglala, Halilintar, Ontang-anting, Zig-zag, and Hysteria rides which have physics concepts in the techniques used when moving them.
