Abstract

This study aims to determine, analyze and describe the psychological complexity of the main character in the film "The Miracle Worker" with a focus on the study of id, ego and super ego. Researcher used Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory to examine the main character named Hellen Keller. This type of research is a qualitative study with the results of the analysis presented in a descriptive narrative. The results of this study are the Id in Hellen Keller is driven by a big desiring to do things like humans in general, like hearing, having eyes, being able to talk, but they all she could not do, so she felt upset. While her ego has made her often easy to be angry, difficult to manage, naughty, spoiled, disrespectful, and sometimes also do anything that makes her happy, even though it is wrong. Her super ego made her never give up, keep trying when taught through a hand code, and smart because it can immediately imitate, and envy to be taught knowledge when she also has a good superego, when Mrs. Sullivan only taught Percy only and Hellen did not.

Abstract

The science of Balaghah is in fact not only examined by text. Long before that, it turns out that in the Qur'an there are the beauty of languages that the Arab poet could not have matched though. More interesting, the beauty and style of language in the surah Luqman when studied with the science of Balaghah contains three important elements in human life. Namely, the education of Aqidah, sharia and morality. In this study Balaghah science is examined specifically and in depth by the author with ilmu Ma'ani. In the science of Ma'ani, the authors deepen the study of Insha Kalam discussing Amr Balaghi. And at the end of this study the author found 2 out of 9 kinds of Balaghi Amr, both of which have the meaning of al-Irsyad and at-Tahdid. Amr has the meaning of al-Irsyad found in verses 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21. While Amr has the meaning of at-Tahdid in verses 7 and 33. And all the meanings of al-Irsyad and at-Tahdid this can assert the meaning of the content of the surah Luqman itself. So in the end, it can help in human life. At the same time, it confirms that the Qur'an is a miracle for human understand.

Abstract

Research on Gramscian Hegemony in short stories "Finja'anu Qahwati Baridun (A Cup of Cold Coffee)" the work of Ihsan 'Abd al-Quddus aims to explain the ideological formation that operates in the short story "Finja'anu Qahwati Baridun (A Cup of Cold Coffee)" and how the practices of hegemony are carried out. This research is a qualitative description research. The data in this study are the text contained in the short story "Finja'anu Qahwati Baridun (A Cup of Cold Coffee)." The data source used in this study is the short story "Finja'anu Qahwati Baridun (A Cup of Cold Coffee) "The work of Ihsan 'Abd al-Quddus. Data collection in this study was carried out by reading, recording and processing research data. The results obtained from this study are idelological formations which operate in the short story "Finja'anu Qahwati Baridun (A Cup of Cold Coffee)" conducted by several figures, namely feudalism, socialism. Practices - Hegemony practices are divided into two groups, namely groups lay (who maintains power) and rebel groups (who fight for power). From the results of the analysis the author uses the theory of hegemony which was triggered by Gramsci. In this case it can be concluded that the practice of hegemony is inseparable from the counter hegemony. Ideology formation is needed to subvert the power and practices of the Hegemony carried out on two groups, namely the lay group / community and rebel groups.

Abstract

Aesthetics that studies beauty will decrease in value if it is associated with sensual or worldly pleasures. Conversely, if aesthetics are associated with morals and religion, the value will be even higher. We can find this aesthetic value in works of art such as Arabic literary. Arabic literary that contain the essence of beauty are prose or poetry that is able to invite the reader to draw closer to Allah SWT and His Rasul, giving rise to religious zeal and social solidarity, such as aesthetics understood by Sufis: Imam Ghazali, Harith bin Thabit, Rabiah Al Adawiyyah, Al Jufri, Faris bin Isa al Baghdadi, Umayyah ibn Abi Shult. They are able to create Arabic literary that are rich in aesthetic validity.

Abstract

This paper aims to assess the book of al-Balaghah al-Wadhihah compiled by ‘Ali al-Jarim and Mustafa Amin as a textbook used in the Department of Arabic Language Teaching at the Education Faculty of State Islamic Istitute of Metro. The study of this textbook uses the literature review method by examining various theories about the principles and criteria for preparing textbooks as an analysis tool. The result of study found that the book of al-Balaghah al-Wadhihah is in accordance with the principles and criteria for the preparation of a good textbook. There are some advantages and disadvantages of this textbook. The advantages of this textbook include: the basic concepts of the subject are simple, containing verses of the Qur'an as an example of discussion of material and practice. However, it still has many disadvantages, among others: this textbook is composed for Arabic (Egyptian) students and uses Arabic as the language of instruction, not compiled for Non-Arabic (Indonesian) students so that it is difficult to understand by Indonesian students who are weak in nahwu-sharaf mastery and lack of vocabulary.

Abstract

Contrastive analysis is a linguistic study that aims to describe the equations and differences between two languages and the distinctiveness of each language. The Arabic language is a language that has distinctiveness, privileges, and uniqueness from alphabets, words, sentences, structure, and uslubcompared to other languages. It is also the oldest language in the world. Therefore, the development of the Indonesian language now is inseparable from the contribution of Arabic language, like in religion, culture, science, politics, social, culture, etc. For example, we can find the words “musyawarah, masjid, majlis, jihad, kitab, sholat, zakat, umat, umum, markas, amal, doa, ilmu, halaqah, hikayat, kalbu, tariqat, kalam, majalah, and others. All of them has added and enriched the treasury of vocabulary in the Indonesian language and made it easy for Indonesian Muslims to worship. Using the Arabic word to the Indonesian language based on contrastive analysis can be existence full adaptation pattern, partial adaptation pattern or adjustment pattern of lafadz. It also happened because of eviation/error in the adaptation pattern or a deviation/error in the delivery of meaning.

Abstract

Kurikulum adalah seperangkat kerangka sebuah tujuan pendidikan yang akan menentukan arah dan warna suatu pendidikan. Kurikulum harus dapat menjawab kebutuhan masyarakat luas dalam menghadapi persoalan kehidupan yang dihadapi, sehingga peninjauan dan perubahan kurikulum secara berkala adalah sebuah keniscayaan. Kurikulum yang terbaru saat ini dinamakan dengan Kurikulum 2013, dan sudah diterapkan di seluruh sekolah/madrasah di Indonesia. Penerapan Kurikulum yang tergolong baru dan sedikit berbeda dengan kurikulum-kurikulum sebelumnya, membutuhkan kerja ekstra bagi para pemangku kepentingan termasuk para guru. Mata pelajaran Bahasa Arab adalah salah satu mata pelajaran yang wajib diajarkan di semua jenjang madrasah dan merupakan pelajaran yang menggunakan Kurikulum 2013. Berdasarkan faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi keberhasilan suatu implementasi kurikulum di sekolah yaitu kompetensi dan pengalaman serta tingkat pendidikan guru/kepala sekolah sebenarnya sudah sesuai begitu juga dengan dukungan dari masing-masing komite sekolah. Adapun dalam hal kelengkapan sarana dan dan prasarana, dukungan anggaran serta infrastruktur kurikulum itu sendiri, mayoritas madrasah-madrasah masih sangat minim sehingga akan menjadi kendala dalam proses pengimplementasian kurikulum 2013 yang membutuhkan sarana prasarana yang memadai terutama terkait dengan teknologi dan informasi.

Abstract

Many studies of scientists who study the thoughts of Ferdinand De Saussure and Ibn Jinni on linguistics in particular, because both of them are monumental figures with real contributions in the civilization of linguistics or linguistics. Uncovering both theoretically is very influential in the development of linguistics. The father of modern linguistics is Ferdinand de Saussure, and the famous Arabic linguist, Ibn Jinni, the thoughts of the two figures become a valuable heritage in the world of scientific scholarship. The research method used is the library research. Researchers collect primary and secondary data in processing research material. Ferdinand de Saussure with his achievements as a linguist has laid the foundations of linguistic thinking such as langue-parole, significant-signified, arbitrary-motivated, and syntagmatic-paradigmatic. And so is Ibn Jinni who has formulated various terminologies about differences Kalam and Qaul, al-Luhgah ‘language’, arbiters as the basis for selecting letters and also word planners, and qiyas made it a method of creating new languages. Both figures equally consider the interrelationship of language and time, and the influence of social forces that influence language so that Saussure began the study of language by synchronic methods, not just diachronic. Where Ibn Jinni also uses social ta'lil, which is all returned to the speakers of the language it selfs. This research contributes in establishing linguistics that cannot be separated from the time and social that exists in that place.
