Jurnal TUNAS adalah jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh LPPM STIKOM Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar yang Tujuan dari publikasi jurnal ini adalah untuk menyebarluaskan pemikiran konseptual atau ide dan hasil penelitian yang telah dicapai di bidang pengabdian masyarakat. Jurnal TUNAS: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat, berisi berbagai kegiatan dalam menangani dan mengelola berbagai potensi, hambatan, tantangan, dan masalah yang ada di masyarakat. Implementasi kegiatan layanan juga melibatkan partisipasi masyarakat dan mitra. Kegiatan pelayanan diorganisasikan menjadi kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Silakan baca panduan ini dengan seksama. Penulis yang ingin menyerahkan naskah mereka ke redaksi Jurna TUNAS: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat harus mematuhi pedoman penulisan. Jika naskah yang dikirimkan tidak sesuai dengan pedoman atau ditulis dalam format yang berbeda, naskah tersebut akan DITOLAK oleh editor sebelum ditinjau lebih lanjut. Para editor hanya akan menerima naskah yang memenuhi format yang ditugaskan. Jurnal TUNAS terbit 2 kali setahun. Pengiriman artikel tidak dipungut biaya, kemudian artikel yang diterima akan diterbitkan secara online dan dapat diakses secara gratis.

Abstract

Multisim software application training at vocational schools is one way to introduce a software that functions to facilitate lessons related to electricity both in theory and practice. The theory learned in class can be applied to various basics of electronics and electrical circuits related to testing and practice so that vocational students can develop basic knowledge of electronics and electricity. while for the laboratory it can be used for calculations with existing circuit measurements in modules and in theory. By introducing this tool, it is hoped that vocational students can form study groups in schools so that learning outcomes in class and practice can be achieved..

Abstract

The government has taken various policies to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Among them: working from home, physical distancing, health protocols, large-scale social restrictions, and imposing restrictions on community activities. In the education sector, the Ministry of Education and Culture has made a face-to-face learning policy that has been transformed into distance learning, both online and offline. This applies from elementary to higher education. The learning process is a unity that can not be separated with the learning evaluation. Therefore the teacher must be able to determine what kind of evaluation model is suitable for use with their students in distance learning. Currently, there are quite a lot of applications that can be used for learning evaluation, one of which is quizizz. Considering that this quizizz application is interactive and internet-based, training needs to be done in its use. For that purpose, this training activity was carried out with the participants being teachers of the Harapan 3 Private Elementary School in Medan.

Abstract

Lake Toba is the location of a visited tourist area and one of the interesting places for both domestic and foreign tourists to visit. For this reason, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) continues to organize 5 Priority National Tourism Strategic Areas (KSPN), namely Lake Toba, Borobudur, Mandalika, Labuan Bajo and Manado - Likupang. It aims to support economic recovery, particularly the tourism sector in a new era of normality. The progress of the Government to immediately renovate and develop tourist areas, renovate and carry out the construction of traditional houses, amphitheater, sopo bolon houses, Anting Anting houses, coffee shops, information centers and so on for the progress of Prapat (Lake Toba). different from what is originally planned. Such as the renovation of the Sopo Bolon House and the Anting Anting House. Traditional houses consist of wood. However, nowadays it is very difficult to get wood like in the previous traditional houses. Several other things hamper progress on site. For that we need proper management in a project work The Community Service Team of Universitas Harapan Medan carried out socialization activities for the Management of Tourism Area Development in terms of renovation progress and project implementation with residents around the Sialagan (Batu Kursi) and Hutaraja areas.

Abstract

This community empowerment program through knowledge of planning and financial management and investment for SMEs and the people of the Segunung Traditional Village aims to teach SMEs and the people of the Gunung Gunung adat, how to make financial planning starting from making budgets, seeking additional funds, making financial reports and invest in business development and also carry out financial planning for the business. The program is implemented in the form of training and assistance in financial management of SMEs and economic actors in the Segunung Traditional Village. The end of this program is expected to show changes in conditions before and after the implementation of the community empowerment program for SMEs and the people of Segunung Traditional Village, namely having more positive attitudes in financial management, and can develop their business.

Abstract

The theory of speech act in pragmatics occurs in a communication between speakers and addressees and this is inseparable from the speaking situation during the conversation. Communication at present is not only limited to direct communication between speakers and addressees but also happens globally such as on social media via Youtube, WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Social media has a huge influence in people's lives, especially teenagers. Departing from the above problems, the FBK Community Service team provides training and understanding of hate speech to students of class XI at SMA Nurul Hasanah Medan, located on Jalan Jamin Ginting Medan with the aim that they can understand hate speech both from linguistic perspectives and laws on social media. The findings show that students of class XI SMA Nurul Hasanah Medan understand hate speech, especially on social media and also understand the consequences of hate speech on social media and from this understanding it is hoped that social media users can behave and act in accordance with norms and values of communication ethics.

Abstract

Batu Village is a planned location for the PPPUD program which has two main activities carried out by the community, namely; some of the community is a farmer group (partner I) and there are also some people who choose to do the clove oil refining process (partner 2). In particular, the farmer groups (partner I) generally sell agricultural produce from plantations such as cloves and cocoa, while clove leaves are distilled. But the process of processing clove leaves, starting from the handling of raw materials, drying, and drying, is still done very simply or traditionally by spreading clove leaves on mats or on the side of the road in an open state. This results in many clove leaves that are of poor quality processed. Not hygienic (dusty), ultimately clove oil is less attractive to consumers, so that it is detrimental to farmer groups who carry out the process of refining clove oil. The amount of clove oil produced by farmer groups and SMEs (partners) is currently an average of 100 - 150 liters per week with very low quality durability. The total population of Batu village is 4701 people consisting of 2298 men and 2403 women with a total of 820 people in 6 hamlets, namely Temboe, Sampano, Batu Lotong, Tarere, Metali and Ponnori hamlets with an education level of almost 80%. elementary school or equivalent with an area of 535 square km.

Abstract

In this increasingly developing era, the internet is a medium used as a means of communication which has gradually eliminated communication media such as telephone or SMS (short message send). This is due to what has been proven that in everyday life at this time, humans are attached to a network. The development of the internet has also supported the use of computers in education. The internet can be accessed and used for various purposes, by anyone, anywhere, anytime. Various kinds of internet technology can be used, one of which is the World Wide Web (or hereinafter referred to as the "web" which is capable of providing information in the form of text, images, sound or moving images. With this capability, the web has become very popular and its development is very rapid, but generally a web like this is still static and cannot manage data. To be able to manage data in the form of a database, it is necessary to develop a web-based information system. Based on the description above, it is important to introduce the concept of a website to students, with the hope that they can take advantage and broader insight on how to create and use a website for the purpose of disseminating information to businesses.

Abstract

The internet in the business world is used for information exchange, product catalogs, promotional media, electronic mail and mailing lists. The internet can also be used as a forum for dialogue, discussion and consultation with consumers online. The use of the Internet for business transaction activities is better known as Electronic Commerce (E-Commerce). In the business world, a website in the form of E-Commerce has become a necessity because there are various benefits that E-Commerce has, including that consumers do not need to come directly to the store to choose the goods they want to buy and for companies to carry out promotional activities and transactions for 24 hours. hours with unlimited range. This community service is carried out with the socialization method, namely lectures, demonstrations and questions and answers, the material is packaged in powerpoint and displayed using infocus. The results of the activities that have been carried out have gone well and smoothly, the interest and enthusiasm of the participants is very high, this can be seen from the activeness of the participants in participating in the socialization by asking questions when the question and answer session opens.

Abstract

Community service is one of the pillars in the Tridarma of Higher Education so that every lecturer is obliged to carry out. Through service, it is hoped that lecturers can share their knowledge directly with the community (outside the academic community) with the hope that the community can directly enjoy the existence of the College. In connection with this, the Informatics Management Study Program sent several lecturers and students to do service at the Ira Medan Vocational School. The topic of service is utilizing cloud computing data storage among students. This is done considering that as students they must have done internet-based data storage by utilizing computerized technology through the features of gmail, facebook, google drive, dropbox, icloud, and so on. Considering that currently web features are increasingly dominating the world in the millenial 4.0 century, the use of gmail, facebook, google drive, dropbox, icloud features is very much needed. Many people can use the internet, but not many also know how to apply the benefits of cloud computing by utilizing the features contained in it. Utilization of maximum features can help simplify and speed up storing the data. Considering the large number of students and limited space and time, this training was conducted specifically for class XII students. It is hoped that with this training, a minimum of 50% (fifty percent) of the training participants can understand this cloud computing service to the fullest.
