Abstract

Gunung Selendang site is known for being classified as a burial site containing human bones, based on excavation findings in the form of a jug tomb (tajau), including; Limbs, hip fragments, jaw fragments, teeth, skull fragments, and small bone fragments that are difficult to identify. In general, the Tajau shape at this point consists of two groups, namely the slender Tajau group with wavy lips with a diameter of 23.5 cm and the chubby Tajau group with simple, unadorned lips with a diameter of 22 cm. Geophysical methods widely used in exploration include seismic, magnetic, gravitational, electrical, and electromagnetic resistance methods. The geoelectric method is one of the geophysical exploration methods that can be used to study the properties of a geothermal system, determine the lithology of rock layers, deposit locations, flow patterns, and the distribution of geothermal fluids below the earth's surface. From this material it can be clearly seen in the color of the soil layer and shows a collection of urn-shaped material in this color at a depth of up to 2 meters and according to the knowledge that from the side of the soil to a depth of 2 meters a collection of Urns with ancient fragments found.

Abstract

Conventional power plants are generally designed on a large scale, centralized, and built far from the load center so that they require transmission and distribution networks to distribute electric power. The condition of the distribution channel's length, the high load supplied, and the increasing number of requests for electrical energy each year affect the quality of distribution of electrical energy. From the above problems, simulation and analysis of the installation of distributed generation are carried out. In installing Distributed Generation, three scenarios are used based on the most significant voltage drop point. The installation of Distributed Generation scenario 1 has an average voltage value of 95.16% or 19.81 kV and an average voltage drop of 9.82% or 1.965 kV, and power losses of 946.69 Kw, where losses power loss was reduced by 17.8% or 733.7 kW. The installation of Distributed Generation scenario 2 has an average voltage value of 95.84% or 19.17 kV and an average voltage drop of 4.16% or 0.833 kV, and power losses of 1062.4 Kw, where losses power loss was reduced by 15.8% or 618 kW. The installation of Distributed Generation scenario three does not experience a voltage drop, the average voltage value is 102.4% or 20.38 kV, and power losses are 1062.4 KW, where power losses are reduced by 29.7% or 1114, 6 kW.

Abstract

Technological development has led to the emergence of cooperation separately both geographically and in time zone in an organization in the form of a virtual organization. PT XYZ's Microsoft Solution and Service (DMSS) Department is one of the departments that provides digital services in the form of One-Stop-Solutions on Digital Services, both in on-premise and cloud infrastructure models with products and solutions based on Microsoft products for customers. In his service during the Covid-19 pandemic, this department implements virtual team coordination so that product development can continue as planned. However, on the other hand, the effectiveness of performance in implementing virtual organizations is still a challenge for the company. This is the focus of research to find out what factors influence the effectiveness of cooperation in the application of virtual organizations at PT XYZ in general and specifically in the Microsoft Solution and Service Department. This study conducted an analysis of seven factors by surveying 40 respondents at PT. XYZ. The results obtained are three factors consisting of depth of communication, technology, and training which have an influence on the effectiveness of the application of virtual organizations at PT. XYZ, while four other factors such as trust, shared understanding of knowledge, commitment, and leadership have no significant effect on the effectiveness of virtual organizations.

Abstract

At this time the processing of coconut into coconut flour is widely carried out by factories, especially in areas that have a large population of coconuts. Hal ini disebabkan karena keuntungan yang didapat dari hasil pengolahan kelapa tersebut bisa mendapatkan keuntungan yang besar. This is because the profits obtained from the results of processing coconut can get large profits. The problem that has occurred so far is that there are many people who want to process coconuts, but are not accompanied by sufficient knowledge and knowledge of the quality of coconuts that the factory wants, so it is undeniable that there are also many coconuts that have been processed into coconut flour but are not sold in the market. The analysis method used in this study used an image processing method based on digital images with a GUI (Graphical User Interface) interface media that utilizes matlab software. Image processing consists of several processes, the first of which is the operation of changing the color to grayscale. The second process is a grayscale to binary color change operation using the threshold method. The third process is the morphological process of filling holes to remove noise from the threshold image results. The results of the study using the Image Management method are expected to provide knowledge and knowledge to the public about the quality of coconuts expected by the factory, especially to identify the differences between rotten coconuts and rotten coconuts.

Abstract

The need and development of information systems continue to occur. The presence of an information system allows communication between users in counselling services. The development of information systems is a complex concept and has challenges in addition to problems. The main problem is that the requirements for the system are often not explained, making it difficult for designers and system analysts to understand, and adapt the design results to the needs of each user. The motivation of this research is to develop a counselling information system with an object-oriented approach. The method used in the development is the implementation of analysis and building a structured model with the output forming classes and their associations. The final result shows that the class that has been formed reduces the complexity of the system.

Abstract

The need for clean water around the world is related to the increasing population, especially in Teupin Batee Village, Aceh Besar District. In addition to surface water, groundwater is one of the potentials that can be utilized by the community, particularly for household needs. The purpose of this study is to identify the aquifer layer using the geoelectric method. One of the geophysical methods that can be used to map groundwater potential is the geoelectrical method based on the resistivity value of subsurface rocks. This study uses the Wenner-Schlumberger array because it can map subsurface structures both vertically and horizontally. From the results of the study, it was found that there are four different layers in this research area including, the top soil layer, hard rock, tuffaceous sand and sand layer as aquifer layer. The top soil layer is mixed with tuff, sand and volcanic breccia to a depth of 8 m with a resistivity value of 5-25 ?m. The Hard rock layer is at a depth of 8 m – 30 m with a resistivity value of 45-220 ?m. The tuffaceous sand layer has a resistivity value ranging from 25-55 ?m. While the sand layer or aquifer is at a depth of 10 m – 60 m with a resistivity value of <10 ?m which is separated by a layer of tuffaceous sand between the two aquifer layers.
