Abstract

Abstract: Polyester (Polyester) is a type of thermosetting polymer material, namely a type of material where the formation of bonds is assisted by heat, catalysts or a combination thereof. This matrix can produce matrix-reinforcement compatibility by controlling the factors of type and number of components, catalyst, time and temperature. It is creep resistant, suitable as an adhesive for heavy-duty structures, and can withstand extreme conditions of heat, radiation, humidity and chemical resistance. Sound is a pressure deviation in the delivery medium due to energy propagated in the form of waves by a vibration source (Latifa, 2015). The sound absorption coefficient (α) is a number that shows the material's ability to absorb sound energy. The greater the coefficient, the higher the absorption capacity. This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of noise dampening composites of polyester resin and coconut fiber. The results of this composite acoustic test were obtained for samples of 20 grams, 30 grams and 40 grams of coconut fiber, it can be seen that the lowest sound dampening ability/coefficient of absorption (α) was -0.006 for a sample of 20 grams of coconut fiber with a frequency of 125 Hz and the highest was 0.428 for a sample of 40 grams. grams of coconut fiber at a frequency of 1000 Hz. Abstract

This research aims to improve students' critical thinking by using Discovery Learning model on Human Respiratory System. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive research. The research method chosen was pre-experimental with a one group pretest-posttest research design. Pretest was carried out to determine the research subjects' critical thinking before the Discovery Learning model was given. After treatment, the research subjects' critical thinking was determined based on posttest scores. The research subjects were 34 students of PGSD FKIP Universitas PGRI Ronggolawe Tuban who were taking the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The research instrument used to collect data was a critical thinking test using 25 multiple choice questions. Analysis of research data using N-Gain Score. The research results show that the average percentage of N-Gain Score is 72% or in the high category. Apart from that, the average critical thinking score also increased during the pretest and posttest, namely from 57 to 88. Based on the analysis of research data, it can be concluded that the application of the Discovery Learning model can improve the critical thinking of research subjects. Therefore, further research is related the application of the Discovery Learning model can be accompanied by innovative learning media, so that the effectiveness obtained is maximized.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the process of implementing junior high school mathematics learning assessments was carried out during the covid-19 pandemic. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive method. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation, with the research time starting from November 8, 2021 to November 30, 2021. The research subjects were mathematics teachers at SMP Negeri 19 Kota Tangerang. Based on the analysis of the research result, it was found that the implementation of the mathematics learning assessment middle school during the covid-19 pandemic at SMP Negeri 19 Kota Tangerang has been going quite well, focusing more on the implementation of assessments in the cognitive and psychomotor domains. In the implementation of the assessment of junior high school mathematics learning during the covid-19 pandemic, there are various obstacles, ranging from learning objectives that can’t be realized perfectly, learning materials that can’t be conveyed all, and students honestly in working on problems. In addition, the teacher also have difficulty in making assessments because during the pandemic students were given multiple choice questions via Google Form and didn’t include how to answer them, thus making the teacher doubt about the level of understanding and ability of students and the activity of students who were felt to be lacking.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII-C di MTsN.2 Morotai, dengan penerapan model pembelajaran LOK-R diyakini mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal tersebut mengundang peneliti untuk melakukan penelitian pada siswa kelas VIII-C di MTsN.2 Morotai, yang mana penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan agustus 2023. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan menerapkan metode eksperimen. Penelitian ini juga menerapkan desain Quasi Experimental one group pretest-postes. Pelaksanaan penelitian mengikuti sintak dari model pembelajaran LOK-R, yang terdiri dari literasi, orientasi, kolaborasi. Dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa data penelitian yang digunakan berdistribusi normal karena nilai sig. sebesar 0.211 untuk pretest dan 0.144 untuk posttest yang mana nilai tersebut > nilai α yakni 0.05. Selain itu, penerapan model pembelajaran LOK-R pada siswa kelas VIII-C di MTsN.2 Morotai, memberikan pengaruh signifikan pada hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPA, khususnya matei sistem gerak, hal sesuai dengan pengujian hasil penelitian menggunakan paired sample t-test, yang mana nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < nilai α yakni 0.05. Berdasakan hasil tersebut, maka disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII-C di MTsN.2 Morotai meningkat karena pengaruh dari penerapan model pembelajaran LOK-R pada mata pelajaran IPA topik pembahasan sistem gerak.
