Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between profitability, liquidity, and capital structure in the food and beverage sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2017 to 2019. Through quantitative analysis, a purposive sample of 12 companies was selected, and data from annual reports were collected. The study utilized the IBM SPSS Statistics 25 program to analyze the data. The findings reveal that profitability has a positive but insignificant impact on capital structure, while liquidity demonstrates a positive and significant effect on capital structure. These results highlight the importance of managing liquidity effectively and optimizing operations to maintain favorable capital structure decisions. The implications of this study contribute to the understanding of financial management strategies within the food and beverage industry, aiding companies in making informed decisions to enhance profitability and meet short-term obligations. Abstract

This study aims to prove and analyze the influence of Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings, and Capital as measured through 4 variables, namely non-performing loan, good corporate governance, net interest margin, capital adequacy ratio to stock prices. This study used Islamic commercial bank companies in 2015-2019 as its population with the total number of companies being 13 companies. The sample is selected using the purposive sampling method. The study used a quantitative approach and tested research data using SPSS regression program data. From the results of calculations, it was concluded that non-performing loans, net interest margin, capital adequacy ratio has an influence on stock prices. Good corporate governance has no effect on stock prices. Highlights: The study analyzes the impact of risk profile, governance, earnings, and capital on stock prices. Non-performing loans, net interest margin, and capital adequacy ratio affect stock prices. Good corporate governance does not have a significant impact on stock prices. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Service Quality and Word of Mouth Communication (WOM) on purchasing decisions of data packages at Phe Honk Cell Ngampel Sari Candi Sidoarjo on Phe Honk Cell Ngampel Sari Candi Sidoarjo customers. This research method is descriptive quantitative. The population is Phe Honk Cell customers with the number of samples taken is 130 respondents. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling or accidental sampling. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression with reliability, validity, normality test, autocorrelation test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, hypothesis testing, t test and F test, coefficient of determination with the help of SPSS version 20.0 program. The results showed that service quality and word of mouth (WOM) communication simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for data packages at Phe Honk Cell. But the service quality partially has no effect on purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, word of mouth (WOM) communication has a partial influence on purchasing decisions for data packages at Phe Honk Cell. Suggestions from the results of this study are that Phe Honk Cell can further improve, offer, and maintain Service Quality, so that customer trust in Phe Honk Cell is maintained and even increases. Highlights: The study examines the impact of service quality and word of mouth communication on purchasing decisions for data packages at Phe Honk Cell. Service quality and word of mouth communication together have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions. While service quality alone does not have a direct impact, word of mouth communication plays a partial role in influencing purchasing decisions. Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the impact of Quality of Work Life (QWL), Job Insecurity (JI), and Organizational Commitment (OC) on Turnover Intention (TI) among employees in the production department of an industrial setting. The research was motivated by the observed increase in the turnover rate of the organization over a three-year period. Employing quantitative methods, data were collected and analyzed using statistical techniques. The sample consisted of employees in the production section, and a non-probability sampling technique was employed. The findings revealed that QWL exhibited a partial negative effect on TI, JI displayed a partial positive effect on TI, and OC showed a partial negative effect on TI. These results emphasize the importance of enhancing QWL, reducing job insecurity, and fostering organizational commitment to mitigate turnover intention among employees. The study contributes to the existing literature on employee turnover and provides practical implications for organizations striving to retain a satisfied and committed workforce. Highlights: Quality of Work Life and Organizational Commitment: The study examines how the quality of work life and organizational commitment influence turnover intention among employees in the production department. Job Insecurity as a Predictor: Job insecurity is identified as a significant factor contributing to turnover intention in the production department. Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the influence of service quality, price, and location on purchase decisions at Zakiah Hijab Solution Stores in Mojokerto City. The study employed the slovin sampling method, with a sample size of 100 respondents. Primary data was collected and analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression in SPSS 23. The findings revealed that service quality significantly affected purchase decisions, indicating the importance of providing excellent customer service. Additionally, price was found to be a significant factor influencing purchase decisions, highlighting the significance of pricing strategies. Moreover, location emerged as a significant determinant of purchase decisions, emphasizing the importance of store accessibility. Furthermore, the combined effect of service quality, price, and location was found to significantly impact purchase decisions. These results contribute to the understanding of consumer behavior in the hijab retail industry and hold implications for marketing strategies, aiding businesses in enhancing their competitiveness and attracting a larger customer base. Abstract

This quantitative study investigates the relationship between ease of use, service features, trust, user satisfaction, and loyalty in the context of the Zoom application. A non-probability sampling method was employed, and data were collected from 100 respondents who were students of the Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo management program and had prior experience using Zoom. Path analysis using the Smart PLS version 3.0 program was conducted for data analysis. The findings reveal that ease of use does not significantly influence user loyalty, while service features and trust positively affect user loyalty. Additionally, ease of use and trust have a positive impact on user satisfaction, while service features do not significantly affect user satisfaction. Furthermore, the study demonstrates that ease of use and trust indirectly influence user loyalty through satisfaction, whereas service features do not exert an indirect effect on user loyalty through satisfaction. These results provide valuable insights for both researchers and practitioners in understanding the factors that drive user loyalty in video conferencing applications, with implications for improving user experience and service quality. Highlights: Ease of use and trust significantly impact user loyalty in Zoom. Service features do not directly affect user loyalty but play a role in shaping user satisfaction. Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the influence of digital marketing, brand image, and store atmosphere on purchasing decisions at Gazebo Jamur, a restaurant in Sidoarjo. A quantitative research approach was employed, utilizing a non-probability sampling method called purposive sampling. The sample consisted of 100 respondents who had purchased and dined at Gazebo Jamur. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression through SPSS version 25. The findings revealed significant effects of digital marketing, brand image, and store atmosphere on purchasing decisions at Gazebo Jamur. These results highlight the importance of these factors in shaping consumer behavior and emphasize the need for businesses to strategically manage their digital marketing efforts, maintain a positive brand image, and create an inviting store atmosphere to enhance purchasing decisions. Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the influence of democratic leadership style, work environment, and work discipline on employee performance within the context of PT. Universal Prima Grafika in Sidoarjo. The research utilized a quantitative approach with hypothesis testing, and the sample consisted of 77 employees from the company. Multiple linear regression analysis, determinant coefficient (R2), multiple correlation coefficient (R), f test, t test, and classical assumption test were employed as analytical tools, utilizing SPSS version 18 for Windows. Primary data were collected through questionnaires employing a Likert scale, with validity and reliability testing conducted. The findings revealed significant effects of democratic leadership style, work environment, and work discipline on employee performance at PT. Universal Prima Grafika in Sidoarjo. These results contribute to our understanding of the factors influencing employee performance and have implications for organizational practices and managerial decision-making. Abstract

The era of globalization has given birth to increasingly fierce competition among companies, organizations or individuals who are currently doing business or are running a business, whether it's a business in the field of culinary, services, furniture and so on. Efficient and effective communication is needed to be able to convey ideas, thoughts, and feelings to all consumers, including the photography business. The photography business began to mushroom in the community who also needed to capture moments with family, partners or companies. The photo and video production house “Moonrise Photowork” is an example of a photography business that is developing in the community, especially in Sidoarjo Regency and Surabaya City. The purpose of this study was to determine the marketing communications carried out by "Moonrise Photowork". The method used is descriptive qualitative using the theory of IMC (Integrated Marketing Communication). Data collection techniques in this study were interviews and documentation. The result of this research is "Moonrise Photowork" conducts marketing communication using IMC very effectively to support customer loyalty. Highlights: The impact of globalization has intensified competition in various business sectors, including photography, necessitating efficient and effective communication strategies. Moonrise Photowork, a photo and video production house, serves as an example of a photography business thriving in Sidoarjo Regency and Surabaya City, catering to the growing demand for capturing meaningful moments. The study reveals that Moonrise Photowork effectively implements Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) strategies, leading to enhanced customer loyalty and satisfaction. Abstract

This study investigates the impact of work conflicts, job stress, and job satisfaction on employee performance in a quantitative research design, focusing on PT. Federal International Finance Group (Fif-Group) Sidoarjo. A sample of 30 employees was selected for the study. Multiple linear regression analysis, multiple correlation coefficient (R), and classical assumption tests were conducted using SPSS version 18. Primary data were collected through questionnaires employing a Likert scale, which underwent validity and reliability testing. The findings demonstrate that work conflicts, job stress, and job satisfaction significantly influence employee performance, with job satisfaction emerging as the most influential variable. These results contribute to a better understanding of the factors shaping employee performance and have implications for organizations seeking to enhance productivity and well-being in the workplace.
