Abstract

Child nutrition problems is an important thing that concerns parents in maintaining growth of children. Based on observation in Medalem on june 2016 have beenfound 4 cases, is 2 obesity cases of child and 2 malnutrition cases of child. This is indicates an increase incasesof child nutrition problems from 2014. There are socialization activities of infant and child feeding and child nutrition handling by midwives and Posyandu cadres. The purpose of this study is analyze and describe the pattern of information flow about child nutrition in Medalem. The type of this study is quantitative research using communication network analysis techniques. The sample of this study is using snowball sampling techniques. The result of this study are;(1) the patter of communication network formed is Wheel network (formal), gossip network (informal) and all channels network; (2)The opinion leaders in communication network has an important role to influenceing the people who are in the area of communication nerwork;(3) Based on the pattern of communication network, the opinion leaders have high heterogeneity in the level of mastery of innovation abaout nutrition of the toddler and choose a multi direction communication relationship in the communication process so that opinion leaders included in innovative society.

Abstract

As an educational institution, the thing that must be considered is the quality of service. If educational institutions always pay attention to the quality of their services to prospective new students, it will have an impact on the image of the campus which can lead to an increase in the interest of prospective new students who will register at UMSIDA. This study aims to determine the effect of Customer Service on the perceptions of new students and services at UPT New Student Reception at Muhammadiyah University, Sidoarjo. This type of research is quantitative descriptive, the location in this study was at the University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo with a sample of 96 respondents taken using the Slovin formula. While the sampling technique is proportional random sampling. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires and documentation. Data were analyzed by simple linear regression with the help of SPSS 16.0. The results of this study stated that there was a good influence Customer Service (X) on the perception (Y1) of new students by 82.4% and a good effect of Custumer Service on service (Y2) of new students by 81.2% at the UPT of New University Student Admissions Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo.

Abstract

The Covid -19 pandemic has significantly decreased the occupancy of the RedDoorz Syariah Buduran Sidoarjo Hotel rooms. The objective is to describe the marketing communication strategy used by the RedDoorz Syariah Buduran Hotel in increasing room occupancy. The study used a qualitative research method at the RedDoorz Buduran Hotel in March-August 2020. The information in this study was the hotel manager which was equipped with 3 people and 5 hotel visitors, with a purposive sampling technique which the criteria of hotel managers dan service staff. Observation data observation techniques, open interviews, and documentation. The results show that the RedDoorz Syariah Buduran hotel has carried out digital advertising through social media such as media (Instagram, website and Twitter) and TV advertising (youtube), sales promotion through the distribution of discount vouchers to visitors and holding local scale events, as well as conducting communication through the public relations division by inviting the surrounding community at the hotel anniversary event. The marketing communication strategies that are carried out are integrated with each other, so as to increase the number of visitors during a pandemic.

Abstract

A company that engages in the retail home furnishings that is rapidly evolving to have 98 branches / outlets spread across cities in Indonesia is PT. Ace Hardware Indonesia.Tbk. PT. Ace Hardware Sidoarjo is the 39th branch which was established in 2008. PT. Ace Hardware Sidoarjo is always trying to create a good image for their company along with the professional services market segment for the middle class and above with reasonable and competitive price, so that it will improve profitability significantly while understanding the part of the marketing concept. This study is aimed to analyze the effect of display products towards purchase decisions of the consumers of PT. Ace Hardware Sidoarjo. Respondents involved in this study were 100 respondents, with a purposive sampling method. Questionnaire data collection and analysis methods of quantitative analysis performed by simple linear regression using SPSS software for windows 16:00. From the results of the regression test, it was shown that variable has weak influence on the purchase decision variables. So, we can get the summary that the display product does not affect consumer’s purchase decision.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the meaning contained in communication symbols in the version of "New Jakarta" campaign advertisement of Joko Widodo - Tjahaja Basuki Purnama in television, how the messages conveyed through the advertisement sets the image of Joko Widodo - Tjahaja Basuki Purnama at Jakarta election 2012, and the perception of some viewers from the author point of view. This type of study is a qualitative descriptive using communication semiology analysis approach. As a descriptive study, it only describes the situation or discourse, does not look for a relationship, tests hypotheses or makes predictions. This study uses qualitative data so the data are substantive categories which are then interpreted by scientific references. In the data analysis, the author uses Roland Barthes' semiotic system with the concept of denotation and connotation as the first level, mythologies (myth) as the second level, as well as metonymy and metaphor as the concept of intertextual. The result of study show that the image of Joko Widodo - Tjahaja Basuki Purnama is found in the couple’s self-claim that they are agents of change who can bring people's expectations about the city of Jakarta into real, namely for a better condition of the road in the city, regular city planning, cleanness and flood prevention.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the students’ opinion of the website quality as an information media at University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. The population of this research consists of 4.260 students of University of Muhammdiyah Sidoarjo. Random proposional technique is used as a technique sampling of this research which takes 97 repondences as the samples. The technique of data analysis used in this research is descriptive statistic. To interpret the data the perception value is also used as the guideline. The results of this research indicate that the use quality and information quality of website as an information media at University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo are less good. The interaction quality of website as an information media at University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo is not good and overall the respondence impression of website at University of Muhamamdiyah Sidoarjo is also not so good.

Abstract

The purposes of this research to analyze and explain the influence of customer relations strategies in the PT. Panin Bank branch A. Yani Sidoarjo towards customer loyalty micro savings Panin. This research used quantitative research with survey research methods. Meanwhile, the subject of this study is micro panin savings customers as many as 100 customers were selected using purposive sampling technique. Partial test (t test) showed that strategy of customer campaign dependent as independent variables which are marketing campaign,customer campaign and service quality that is affected towards dependent variable, namely customer loyalty PT. Panin Bank branch A. Yani Sidoarjo. The simultant test (Test F) indicated that the customer campaign strategy dependent as independent variables which are marketing campaign, customer campaign and service quality are affected towards dependent variable, namely customer loyalty PT. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine public opinion towards corporate social responsibility Candi Baru sugar factory. This research used descriptive quantitative method, from a population of 367 householders, while a sample of 79 respondents. The sampling technique used proportional sampling techniques and random sampling. Collecting data used literature study, questionnaires and interviews. Analyzing data used descriptive statistics. The result study stated that, Candi Baru sugar factory has conducted two types of corporate social responsibility, namely corporate social marketing and corporate philanthropy. Public opinion towards corporate social responsibility Candi Baru sugar factory has been well overall, but there were still negative opinion of the people. It caused by multiple factors, the distribution of the assistance provided was uneven, the shape and the amount of assistance provided is considered incompatible with pollution and losses caused by the activity of production companies, as well as their distrust of the objectivity of the company in selecting the target activity.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe community reception of website P3M.sidoarjokab.go.id. This research used descriptive qualitative method with in-depth interview technique. The focus of this research discussed perception, thinking, preference, interpretation, ease of use, easy of finding information, design of page, web traffic and search in website of Complaint Service Center (P3M). Data analysis technique in this research used interactive analysis, with five informant. The research found that P3M website had applied ease of use dimension and web traffic and search well. P3M website had facilitated the user at the time that would report with the ease of features and access, and facilitate the user at the time that would search the website in search engines. P3M websites were still lack in applying the easy of finding information and design of page dimensions. Images in the website was still very poor so could not support information and website design P3M was still very monotonous and not interesting.

Abstract

The concept itself was very important in human life because one's understanding about themselves would determine and guide the behavior in various situations. This study aimed to describe nonverbal communication in developing self-concept in Nanggala Surabaya Kindergarten. This type of research was qualitative description. Subjects were teachers, students and parents. Key informant was head of Nanggala Surabaya Kindergarten. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. While the technique of analyzing data used a model of Miles and Huberman through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that nonverbal communication was done by teacher to students in developing self-concept included six classifications were kinesthetic message, gestural message, proksemik message, artifactual message, paralinguistic message, touches and smells message. While, the concept of self-developed in Nanggala Surabaya Kindergarten was the concept of the physical self, moral-ethical self-social, and family pride.
