Abstract

The skills of selfconfidence (SC), emotional intelligence (EI), and independence (IDC) should be trained as early as possible. It is required for early childhood to have a strong foundation for their future. These skills can be learned and trained using the RULER approach with the method of Mood Meter. The purpose of this study is to observe any difference in the levels of these skills after undergoing the Mood Meter. This research is conducted in children aged 4-5 in Preschool ABC Jakarta with 9 participants in total consisting of 6 girls and 3 boys. The methods used in the research are quasi-experimental with one group pre and posttest. A t-test and N-gain were conducted for the hypothesis testing. Results show moderate effectiveness in increasing SC, particularly in areas like perseverance and participation. EI also showed a moderate increase, with students displaying more internal motivation.  However, the biggest impact was on IDC, with students demonstrating significantly higher levels of responsibility and personal care. The Mood Meter likely helped students manage their emotions and understand routines, leading to better classroom behaviour and adjustment.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the band Guyon Waton's cyber public relations is used on Instagram. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach which uses the concept of Puspitasari and Purwani theory which is generally carried out through the use of Cyber Public Relations namely, Constant Internet Communication, Fast Internet Response, Internet Global Market, Interactive, Two-way Communication, and Economical . The results of this research show that the use of cyber public relations on Instagram by the Guyon Waton band is quite good in several ways based on analysis, namely, constant internet communication, fast internet response, global internet market, interactive, two-way communication, and economical. Guyon Waton has a characteristic of uploading funny content and follower content to keep his followers connected and active. The conclusion is that Guyon Waton uses Instagram as a medium for publicizing band activities. In its use, Guyon Waton carries out communication in a unique way, namely replying to DM messages which are then uploaded to Instagram stories. Apart from that, another unique way is to upload funny memes and some viral content to bring to life the meaning of Guyon Waton itself, namely outrageous jokes. In this unique way, Guyon Waton has so many fans that it has earned the title of band with the most followers in Indonesia at 1.5 million followers.

Abstract

The Saluyu Medal Sheep Livestock Program shows significant progress and independence with the success of the livestock group in marketing products that are not only at the moment of qurbani but also able to develop a sustainable business model by processing sheep manure into fertilizer that is useful for agriculture in Karoya Village and for kaliandra trees in the PLN Nusantara Power UP Cirata Energy Forest Program. Not only that, through the implementation of this program, the leaves of kaliandra trees that previously had the potential to become waste are now used as sheep feed, which can reduce the risk of forest fires and support the principles of circular economy. This innovation not only increases the productivity and sustainability of the Karoya Village livestock business, but also contributes to environmental issues that support the development of green energy by reducing waste and utilizing resources efficiently within the framework of a circular economy.

Abstract

Coping strategies are individual evaluation methods that can be used to manage behavior in facing problems. This research aims to examine the relationship between coping strategies and psychological well-being among Generation Z. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with a research subject of 200 students aged 18-25 years. (69 male, 131 female). The researchers used two scales: the psychological well-being scale adopted from Eva's (2018) study with 18 items and a reliability coefficient of 0.907, and the coping strategies scale with 28 items adapted from Siaputra's (2023) study, which has a reliability coefficient of 0.891. The analysis used is the Pearson Product Moment correlation test, which shows that coping strategies have a strong relationship with psychological well-being, with a correlation score of 0.724. This positive correlation coefficient indicates that the higher the coping strategies, the higher the psychological well-being of students in Yogyakarta. The value of the coefficient of determination (R square) is 0.524, which means that 52.4% of the psychological well-being variable is influenced by coping strategies.

Abstract

The research was carried out experimentally at the Non-Ruminant Livestock Laboratory, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Hasanuddin University from April to June 2019. This research aims to determine the effect of substituting fish meal with BSF larvae meal in the ration on the consumption of crude protein, crude fat and crude fiber in quail. 60 female quail were used in this study using cages measuring 90 x 60 x 30 cm. This research method used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of four treatments and five replications, divided randomly based on treatment as follows: P0 Ration without adding BSF larval meal, P1 = BSF larval meal 3.183% (6.67% crude fish meal protein) , P2=BSF larval meal 6.370% (3.34% fish meal crude protein), P3=BSF larval meal 9.565% (0% fish meal crude protein). The variables observed were the consumption of crude protein, crude fat and crude fiber in quail. The data obtained were then analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 25 software. The results of the analysis of the effect of substituting fish meal with BSF larvae meal in the ration had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the consumption of crude protein, crude fat and crude fiber in quail.

Abstract

Seizing consumer preferences is crucial for organisations amidst increasingly intense competition. Success in this competition depends on the product's ability to fulfil customer needs and wants. All universities in Indonesia are faced with similar challenges, namely how to formulate and plan for their future in the face of ever-evolving societal changes. To respond to this challenge, it is necessary to develop a strategy that increases the competitiveness of universities. From the literature review, the criteria for increasing the competitiveness of the XYZ Institute are obtained, namely, product, price, place, promotion, people, process, physical evidence. Each criterion, through the brainstorming, is broken down into sub-criteria. The process to determine the right strategy design can be done in many methods, and among them are the ANP (Analytical Network Process) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) methods. The results of weighting the criteria using the ANP method using the Super Decisions software are then ranked using the TOPSIS method. The result is that the three best strategies are to improve the Product, namely, Alumni Quality (score 0.713397108), followed by improving Promotion, namely, the Institute accreditation score (score 0.709584147) and the People aspect, namely, student input selection (score 0.704887758).

Abstract

As a fashion and beauty icon in America, Kim Kardashian is one of the public figures who supports the new beauty discourse. The emerging concept of new beauty in America challenges conventional limits for the delineation of beauty. This idea emphasizes that beauty is not limited by skin color, body shape, age, and hairstyle; instead, it emphasizes the need of embracing of natural body. This study examines how Kim Kardashian's personal Instagram posts from 2014-2023 showcases new notions of beauty via the lens of semiotic theory by Barthes (1964) and the concept of blackfishing. New forms of beauty discourse displayed by Kim Kardashian are accused of being blackfishing by excessively darkened skin, curvy body shapes, full lips, and hair. According to the findings of this study, there is a sense of ambivalence towards black women's bodies. Consequently, white people have internalized certain characteristics of black bodies without appreciating the unique qualities of black women. Kim Kardashian promotes a new beauty discourse that is considered blackfishing through her collaboration with the fashion and beauty industry and building her own cosmetics business. This demonstrates the participation of other influential individuals in the fashion business who endorse Kim's blackfishing appearance so that this appearance continues to appear in public and is normalized.

Abstract

The Islamic capital market in Indonesia has experienced significant growth in recent years, mainly due to the support from the government and Islamic financial institutions. Increased awareness of the importance of investments in accordance with Islamic principles is one of the main drivers of this growth. In addition, the existence of various investment products such as sharia stocks, sukuk, and sharia mutual funds that are in accordance with sharia principles is increasingly attracting the interest of the public, including students. This study aims to analyze the factors that affect students' interest in investing in the sharia capital market. The method used is systematic literature review, research data is taken from various literature and related studies, and shows that these factors have a significant influence on students' interest in investing in the Islamic capital market. This research is expected to contribute to increasing student participation in sharia investment and increasing financial literacy among the younger generation. The results of the study show that good financial literacy, strong internal motivation, social support from the surrounding environment, and easy access to sharia investment technology have a significant influence on student interest. User-friendly digital platforms and access to training also make it easier for students to start sharia investment.

Abstract

Hyperactive behavior in children often affects the social-emotional quality of the surrounding environment. For this reason, the importance of conducting research on the role of teachers in handling hyperactive behavior in children at Syamil Kids Kindergarten becomes even more urgent considering that teachers are the figures who interact most with children during the learning process. This research aims to explore the role and challenges faced by teachers in handling the behavior of hyperactive children. This research uses a qualitative approach method. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of interviews with school principals, teachers, parents and direct observation of children. Meanwhile, data analysis in this research was carried out using interview transcripts, observation, coding and thematics. The results of this research show that the role of teachers in handling hyperactive behavior in early childhood is carried out by paying attention to: 1) classroom management strategies 2) taking an individual approach 3) teachers play a role in helping hyperactive children interact with their friends. Meanwhile, the challenges faced by teachers in handling hyperactive children are: 1) classroom management has not been able to facilitate hyperactive children to focus on the tasks given to them 2) there is no accompanying teacher to accompany hyperactive children 3) there is no teacher training on how to handle hyperactive children's behavior in kindergarten. Syamil Kids 4) difficulty in accepting parents regarding weaknesses in children with hyperactive behavior.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has encouraged changes in the way of buying and selling transactions, especially through e-commerce platforms. However, in practice, it is not uncommon for the goods and services purchased to not be in accordance with the quality promised by the seller. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Law No. 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection in protecting buyers from non-conformities in the quality of goods and services. The research method used is a normative juridical approach with secondary data from literature reviews and related laws and regulations. The results of the study show that legal protection for consumers has been regulated, but its implementation still needs to be strengthened, especially in digital transactions. This research is expected to provide recommendations for the government and consumer dispute resolution institutions.
